    Get PDF
This research examines the information security of adopting mobile banking and suggests maximizing information security in mobile banking in different ways. Security issues pose a threat to mobile banking adoption and diffusion. Therefore, reliable security measures and improved trust improvement are suggested to address information security in adopting mobile banking for financial services. A questionnaire survey is conducted with users of mobile banking technology. Random sampling is adopted in the study. 650 questionnaires were sent to respondents, and 303 responses were recorded. A confirmatory factor analysis with varimax rotation was conducted following correlation and multiple regression analysis to test the hypothesis of the study. The research finds that (1) perceived security and trust affect mobile banking self-efficacy and performance (SEP) of adopting mobile banking for financial services; (2) Reliable security measure and perceive trust improvement positively influence (SEP) of adopting mobile banking for financial services. This study shows the significance of user perceptions of security by inspecting the content of the security rules of mobile banking for clients’ levels. It includes the adoption of technology in financial services. Therefore, the study links the technology acceptance model (TAM) with the literature on perceived security and trust of adopting mobile banking for financial services. The research has applied to the banking industry to develop and expand its banking market by developing reliable security measures and improving the perceived trust of customers to conduct banking transactions using mobile banking technology

As well as the success of women entrepreneurs in Bangladesh is also very challenging especially in the southern part of the country. Novelty: The study took into consideration the broad factors contributing to women entrepreneurship and applied such factors in particularly in the Faridpur district. Research Method: This study was conducted on 67 women entrepreneurs (N=67) of Faridpur city using a convenient sampling technique. The collected data were processed and then analyzed using SPSS. Structural equation modelling was applied to test hypotheses. Findings: The study revealed a bunch of factors that affect the success of women entrepreneurs among these psychological and motivational factors affect significantly and positively the success of women entrepreneurs in SMEs. Contribution: The survey results also show that women entrepreneurs face a range of challenges including financial, technological, lack of proper training, family and mentor supporting, competent staff, and networking for doing business in Bangladesh. Conclusions: The descriptive statistics, correlation, and regression analysis were carried out to identify the important determinants of the success of women entrepreneurs. The Ministry of Utmost Happiness tells the story of the marginalized people who are abused but share a collective understanding of different social norms. Gender inequality is a multi-layered dispute which states that there is discrimination among genders and it prevents the path of getting basic rights of the human being. On the other hand, gender equality eliminates violence, harmful practices and discrimination against all women and girls. Focusing on the theory of collective consciousness, this paper explores the question of gender equality in Arundhati Roy’s The Ministry of Utmost Happiness. Non-structural qualitative analysis is applied in this paper to distinguish past trends and forecast future models. Arundhati Roy precisely points out that the shared beliefs, ideas, attitudes can operate strongly as a powerful force to bring down the gender inequality in her The Ministry of Utmost Happiness. The author establishes that the collected voices can only stand together to make a difference in the world of injustice in this novel. This paper investigates how the combined innate craving for strength, justice and power builds up a gathering in a graveyard and how it works in the pursuit of gender justice

Objective: The objective of this study was assessing the diverse pharmacological efficacies of methanolic extracts of the whole plant of Gardenia coronaria Buch-Ham This study illustrates the phytochemicals, antioxidants and thrombolytic activity which have the possibility to be used in the coming future to open a new line of investigation. The Gardenia coronaria, one of the necessary traditional medicinal plants in Bangladesh. In the rural area this plant is used by a lot of people as a treatment from various disease. Methods: Total sum of the flavonoids was spectrophotometrically ascertained with the help of aluminum chloride colorimetric assay as total phenolic and tannin content by Folin Chiocalteu’s reagent. Antioxidant activity, ascertained by DPPH (α, α-diphenyl-β-picrylhydrazyl) free radical scavenging assay giving some comparison between the resultant activity with the standard. The thombolytic activity was assessed based on the method of minor alterations. Results: The percentage of clot lysis was 87.58% when 100 μl of streptokinase (30,000 I.U.), and the methanolic extract displayed the least clot lysis activity (26.79%), much less compared to the standard. It can be elicited that the extract of Gardenia coronaria Buch-Ham contains antioxidant and thrombolytic activity. The potential of these activities probably because of the availability of most of the phytochemicals supporting previous claims and verify its uses as an expected folk medicine.                                        Peer Review History: Received 9 January 2020;   Revised 25 January; Accepted 4 March, Available online 15 March 20200 Academic Editor: Dr. Amany Mohamed Alboghdadly, Princess Nourah bint abdulrahman university, Riyadh, [email protected] UJPR follows the most transparent and toughest ‘Advanced OPEN peer review’ system. BACKGROUND: Perinatal depression is a public health problem in low and middle income countries. Although effective psychosocial interventions exist, a major limitation to their scale up is the scarcity of mental health professionals. The aim of this study was to explore the facilitators and barriers to the acceptability of peer volunteers (PVs)-volunteer lay women from the community with shared socio-demographic and life experiences with the target population-as delivery agents of a psychosocial intervention for perinatal depression in a rural area of Pakistan. METHODS: This qualitative study was embedded in the pilot phase of a larger peer-delivered mental health programme. Forty nine participants were included: depressed mothers (n = 21), PVs (n = 8), primary health care staff (n = 5), husbands (n = 5) and mothers-in-law (n = 10). Data were collected through in-depth interviews and focus groups and analysed using the Framework Analysis approach. RESULTS: The PVs were accepted as delivery agents by all key stakeholders. Facilitators included the PVs' personal attributes such as being local, trustworthy, empathetic, and having similar experiences of motherhood. The perceived usefulness and cultural appropriateness of the intervention and linkages with the primary health care (PHC) system was vital to their legitimacy and credibility. The PVs' motivation was important, and factors influencing this were: appropriate selection; effective training and supervision; community endorsement of their role, and appropriate incentivisation. Barriers included women's lack of autonomy, certain cultural beliefs, stigma associated with depression, lack of some mothers' engagement and resistance from some families. CONCLUSION: PVs are a potential human resource for the delivery of a psychosocial intervention for perinatal depression in this rural area of Pakistan. The use of such delivery agents could be considered for other under-resourced settings globally

Visible light is used by a technology known as Light Fidelity to establish wireless internet connections very quickly. This article offers line-of-sight communication between the transmitter and receiver using LED technology. Li-Fi technology is a method that transmits data using LED light, which is faster and more efficient than Wi-Fi. Since it is practically ubiquitous, light can be used for communication as well. A cutting-edge technology called optical communication includes a subset called Li-Fi. By sending out visible light, the Li-Fi device enables wireless intranet communication. An in-depth study and analysis of Li-Fi, a novel technology that transmits data at high speeds over a wide spectrum by using light as a medium of transmission
