    PENGGUNAAN MEDIA GAMBAR UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN ILMU PENGETAHUAN SOSIAL DI KELAS IV SDN UJUNG VIII/33 SURABAYA

    Abstrak: Nilai hasil belajar pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) di kelas IV SDN Ujung VIII/33 Surabaya pada semester I tahun ajaran 2012-2013 masih dibawah Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) yang ditetapkan yaitu 70. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah pengaruh penggunaan media gambar dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar ilmu pengetahuan sosial di kelas IV SDN Ujung VIII/33 Surabaya. Tujuan peneliti melakukan PTK dengan menggunakan media gambar dalam pembelajaran IPS adalah untuk membangkitkan keinginan dan minat yang baru, membangkitkan motivasi dan rangsangan kegiatan belajar. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas ini dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus dengan setiap siklus terdapat tiga tahap, yakni perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan pengamatan, serta refleksi. Jenis data yang dikumpulkan pada penelitian ini adalah data aktivitas guru, data aktivitas siswa, dan data hasil belajar siswa setelah menggunaan media gambar. Pengumpulan data ini dilakukan dengan metode observasi untuk mengukur aktivitas guru dan siswa, sedangkan untuk hasil belajar siswa menggunakan alat evaluasi yang berupa tes tertulis yang dilakukan peneliti dan dua observer. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan aktivitas guru pada siklus I sebesar 62,5%, siklus II sebesar 68,18%, dan siklus III sebesar 83,33%.  Pada aktivitas siswa selama proses pembelajaran yaitu siklus I sebesar  60,4%, siklus II sebesar 70,45%, dan siklus III sebesar 83,33%. Sedangkan pada hasil belajar siswa yang diperoleh dari siklus I sebesar 61,34% dengan ketuntasan belajar 44%, siklus II sebesar 67,24% dengan ketuntasan belajar 60%, dan siklus III sebesar 77,2% dengan ketuntasan belajar 84%. hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media gambar sangat efektif apabila diterapkan pada siswa kelas IV SDN Ujung VIII/33 Surabaya, khususnya pada mata pelajaran IPS dengan materi jenis-jenis sumber daya alam, persebaran sumberdaya alam, dan pemanfaatan sumber daya alam. Dengan demikian penggunaan media gambar dalam pembelajaran ini dapat meningkatkan aktivitas guru, aktivitas siswa, dan hasil belajar siswa sehingga kualitas pembelajaran meningkat. Kata Kunci: Media Gambar, Pembelajaran IPS, Hasil  Belajar Siswa.   Abstract: The value of Social studies in SDN Ujung VIII/33 Surabayain the first semester of the 2012-2013 period is still low under Exhaustiveness Minimal Criteria (KKM) established is 70. The purpose of Classroom Action Research (CAR) is to know what’s efect the applied of image media can improve learning result of social studies in the fourth grade SDN Ujung VIII/33 Surabaya. The purpose researcher do this Classroom Action Research by the applied of image media in teaching social studies is to raise new desire and interest, raise motivation and stimulating learning activities. This Classroom Action Research was conducted in three cycles with each cycle there are three stages, namely planning, acting and observing, and reflecting. The types of data collected in this research is teacher activity data, student activity data and student learning results data after the applied of the image media. This data is collected by observation method for measuring the activity of teachers and students, while for the student learning result use evaluation tools in the form of tests done by the researcher and two observers. The research results showed that increase of teacher activities in the first cycle of 62.5%, the second cycle of 68.18%, and 83.33% for the third cycle. On student activity during the learning process in the first cycle of 60.4%, the second cycle of 70.45%, and 83.33% for the third cycle. While on student learning result obtained from the first cycle of 61.34% with 44% completeness learning, the second cycle of 67.24% with 60% completeness learning, and the third cycle of 77.2% with 84% completeness learning, This suggests show that the applied of image media is very effective when applied in the fourth grade students of SDN Ujung VIII/33 Surabaya, especially in social studies with the  material of the types resources of natural, the distribution of natural resources, and utilization of natural resources. Thus, the applied of image media in this study can increase ofteacher avtivities, student activities, and student learning result, so the quality of learning can increase .     PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS OF BROILER IN CLOSED HOUSE AND OPENED HOUSE

    The success of broiler production is expressed in the performance of broiler chickens. One of the achievements of broiler performance is influenced by management. Housing management factors have an important role as a determinant of the success of broiler farms. The purpose of this study was to analyze the performance of broilers in closed cages and open cages at Agricultural PPPPTK, Cianjur. The material used in the study was a closed house with a size of 10m x 20m with 3,000 birds and an opened house measuring 8m x 3m with 2,500 broiler chickens. The research design used was a completely randomized design with 2 treatments, namely closed cages and open cages and 3 repetitions of maintenance periods.The research method used is the observation method (direct observation in the field). The data used in the study are primary data and secondary data, are data on maintenance results of broiler chickens in closed cages and open cages at Agricultural PPPPTK in 2018 for 6 maintenance periods. The variables observed in this study were mortality, feed consumption, final body weight, feed conversion ratio (FCR), and performance index (IP). Data that has been observed, collected, then analyzed using the t test. The results showed that mortality, feed consumption, final body weight, FCR, and IP in closed house were respectively 13.07%; 2.53 kg / bird; 1.43 kg / bird; 1.78; and 213, while in opened house respectively 7.70%; 2.24 kg / bird; 1.38 kg / bird; 1.62; and 255. The performance of broiler chickens in open house is better than closed house. The performance of broilers in both types of house showed a low which was reflected in the low performance index, <300. Keywords: Broiler, Closed house, Opened house, Performance
