On the Basis Property of the Root Functions of Some Class of Non-self-adjoint Sturm--Liouville Operators
We obtain the asymptotic formulas for the eigenvalues and eigenfunctions of
the Sturm-Liouville operators with some regular boundary conditions. Using
these formulas, we find sufficient conditions on the potential q such that the
root functions of these operators do not form a Riesz basis

Desain Konseptual Speech Recognition di Komunikasi Pesawat untuk Mengurangi Kesalahan Komunikasi Penerbangan
Penyebab utama kecelakaan penerbangan adalah human error (55%) dengan salah satu penyebab adalah miskomunikasi. Miskomunikasi menjadi penyebab kasus kecelakaan terbesar di dunia seperti kecelakaan antara Pan Am dan KLM, Garuda dengan nomor penerbangan 152, dan kecelakaan yang baru-baru ini terjadi antara Batik Air dan Transnusa. Selain itu, KNKT pernah mengalami kebingungan saat menginvestigasi cockpit recorder Air Asia QZ8501. Saat miskomunikasi terjadi, instruksi sering kali sulit dipahami dan diperlukan pengulangan komunikasi, yang mempersempit waktu pengambilan tindakan. Penelitian ini ingin mengembangkan konsep speech recognition dengan sistem voice sign and text untuk prosedur pengecekan komunikasi kru penerbangan. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah kajian pustaka dan perancangan sistem. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah penambahan prosedur komunikasi dengan sign dan teks yang diperoleh dengan bantuan speech recognition. Pesan teks berasal dari ucapan yang diterjemahkan oleh speech recognition menjadi teks, kemudian teks akan diubah menjadi sign. Lalu sign dan teks akan ditampilkan dan dilihat langsung oleh pilot. Dengan penambahan sistem sign dan teks disamping komunikasi melalui suara diharapkan kesalahan dapat diminimalisir, pengambilan keputusan dapat dilakukan dengan cepat, dan kecelakaan dapat dihindari.
[Speech Recognition Conceptual Design in Aircraft Communications to Reduce Flight Communication Mistake] The main cause of aviation accidents is the human error (55%) in which one of its factor is the miscommunication. Miscommunication involved in the most accidents in the world including Pan Am and KLM accident, Garuda flight 152 (the biggest accident in Indonesia), and that was recently occurred between Batik Air and Transnusa Airline. Moreover, NTSC was confused when investigating the Air Asia QZ8501 cockpit recorder. When miscommunication occurs, the repetition of communication is prominently required due to the difficulty in understanding the instruction, which later narrowed the time to take any action. This study is intended to develop the concept of speech recognition with voice sign and text system for flight crew communication checking procedure. The methodology that is used in this research is the combining of literature review and system design. The results of this study is the addition of communication procedure by means of sign and text that obtained from speech recognition process. The text is produced from the translation of voice by speech recognition and converted into sign afterwards. Both of sign and text will be displayed, thus can be seen by the pilot. In addition to communication by voice, the implementation of sign and text is expected in minimalizing the error, supporting faster decision making, and avoiding the accident
Penerapan Pola Konsumsi B2SA dalam Mengantisipasi Covid-19 Lingkup Anak Sekolah Minggu
Abstrak
Penganekaragaman pangan menjadi salah satu pilar utama dalam mewujudkan ketahanan pangan menuju kemandirian dan kedaulatan pangan. Kenyataannya sampai saat ini, pola konsumsi pangan masyarakat masih menunjukan kecenderungan kurang beragam dari jenis pangan dan keseimbangan gizinya. Secara umum, kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengarahkan anak-anak sekolah minggu dan pemuda untuk :Berpartisipasi aktif dalam melakukan tindakan preventif terhadap peluang munculnya masalah kekurangan gizi, dan menghindari dampak kejadian covid-19. Meningkatkan pengetahuan, pemahaman, dan perilaku anak-anak dan pemuda tentang B2SA (Beragam, Bergizi, Seimbang dan Aman). Mendukung program pemerintah daerah dalam menjaga dan meningkatkan derajat kesehatan masyarakat. Pelaksanaan pengumpulan data dalam pengabdian ini menggunakan jenis Eksplorasi dengan kombinasi rancangan Observasi dan Cross cectional Study. Kegiatan Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 26 Mei 2021 dengan lokasi kegiatan Jemaat Marturia Oesapa Selatan, Kota Kupang. Adapun target pelaksanaan kegiatan adalah kelompok Anak-anak sekolah minggu dan Pemuda di Jemaat Marturia Oesapa Selatan, Kota Kupang yang berdasarkan data survei sebanyak 100 orang. Peserta dapat memahami materi yang disampaikan. Ditandai dengan keaktifan dalam diskusi dan pencarian topik-topik baru yang berkaitan dengan Covid-19.
Abstract
Food diversity is a main base in perform food security to independent and sovereignty. Actually, community food pattern still in not diverse in kind and balancing nutrition. This community service activity is aim to direct child and teenager in Sunday school to participate actively in prevent malnutrition problem and avoid covid19 impact. Increase knowledge and behaviour about Diverse, Nutrition, Balancing and Secure (DNBS). Support governmental program to keep and increase community health level. Tha data was collected exploratively with observation and cross sectional combination. This service was held in May 26th 2021, located in Marturia church Oesapa Selatan, Kota Kupang. Objected children and teenager of this church about 100 persons. They can get the content was given. It was known by their activity in discussion and looking for other topics was relevant with Covid-19.

Multimedia courseware of road safety education for secondary school students
Cases of accidents involving children keep increasing from time to time.According to the
statistic from Malaysian Institute of Road Safety
Research (MIROS) has showed that the road accidents which involved the children reveal a
significantly high degree of fatalities and injuries.In order to decrease the risk of accident involving children, an initiative to develop a courseware application about road safety have been taken as a precaution step to help children protect their safety on road.This paper will discuss about the multimedia implementation in developing learning courseware to introduce basic road safety knowledge for students within the age 12 to 17 years old.For implementation process, the Rapid Application Development (RAD) approach has been selected as the methodology to develop the courseware.Basically the methodology divided into four phases which are requirement planning, user design, rapid construction, and transition.After development process, a survey was conducted in SMK Mergong which located at Alor Setar in order to get feedback from the student in term of the impacts while using the courseware.From the survey, it showed that the courseware application really help the students to get clearunderstanding about road safety.The use of picture, audio and video in the courseware also become interactive and particularly suitable for level of student’s understanding
EDUKASI PROSEDUR PENJAMINAN MUTU PRODUK PERTANIAN BERBASIS MIKROBA PADA KELOMPOK PETANI PENGEMBANG AGENSIA HAYATI
Abstrak: Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mengedukasi kelompok petani pengembang agensia hayati (PPAH) tentang prosedur penjaminan mutu untuk produk-produk berbasis mikroba. Tahapan penjaminan mutu dalam produksi produk berbasis mikroba sejauh ini hanya dapat dilakukan oleh laboratorium. Hal ini menyulitkan kelompok PPAH untuk memastikan kualitas produk yang dihasilkan karena bergantung pada laboratorium pelaksana penjaminan mutu. Kegiatan ini melibatkan kelompok PPAH Dadi Makmur dan dilakukan melalui sejumlah tahapan, yakni penyuluhan tentang standar mutu produk, pendampingan uji mutu empat produk mikroba, dan pendampingan pembaruan label produk. Penerimaan dan perubahan wawasan mitra dievaluasi melalui pre-test dan post-test. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa wawasan anggota PPAH mengalami peningkatan menjadi 75% terkait mutu produk dan profesionalisme layanan. Sementara itu, keterampilan anggota PPAH juga meningkat menjadi 50% dalam hal pelaksanaan uji mutu produk. Selain itu, semua produk memperlihatkan mutu yang telah memenuhi SNI dan telah diperbarui labelnya.Abstract: This activity was aimed to educate the farmers group for biological agent production (FGBAP) related to the procedure of quality assurance for microbial products. Quality assurance in the production of microbial product for agricultural purposes, so far, is performed by laboratory only. This condition complicates the FGBAP to ensure the quality of its microbial products due to high dependency on local laboratory. Therefore, This activity involved FGBAP Dadi Makmur and was performed through discussion about standard quality of product, workshop of quality assurance and product label refinement. Participant responses were evaluated through pre-test and post-test. The results showed the increase of insights from the FGBAP members was recorded up to 75% related to product quality and service professionalism. However, the member’s capacity in performing quality assurance also increased up to 50%. In addition, all products developed by this FGBAP have met the national standards and labelled properly
Mouthpart and digestive tract morphology of the synchronized firefly, Pteroptyx tener (coleoptera: lampyridae)
The firefly, Pteroptyx tener (Coleoptera: Lampyridae) lives in the mangrove area and is economically valuable for ecotourism because of its unique synchronous flashing behavior. It has been observed that the adult species does not have the appearance of sucking type mouthpart morphology though it is believed that its diet depends on the plant sap. This study focused on the morphology of the mouthpart and, anatomy and histology of the digestive tract of P. tener. From gross morphology observation, P. tener has hypognathus mouthpart with a crescent-like narrow apicle mandible. Scanning Transmission Electron Microscope (STEM) image showed that P. tener has a special food canal inside its mandible that runs from the tip to the end part of the mandible. The tip of the mandible could be used as piercing equipment for P. tener to suck plant sap for feeding purposes. Morphological investigations of the digestive tract showed that this species have a small crop, large ventriculus and long intestinal tract that is suitable for a liquid feeder insect. Histological sections show that the digestive tract consist of thick muscle layer especially on the hindgut and thin epithelial layer on all parts of the gut
