    PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN KOMIK IPA TERPADU MATERI SISTEM PENCERNAAN PADA MANUSIA

    Abstract. The purpose of this research was to determine how the feasibility, effectiveness and students' response to instructional media of science comics integrated on digestive system of human material. This type of research is the development of the ADDIE model. The research was conducted on the class VIII SMP YPK 2 Manokwari. The feasibility of instructional media of science comics integrated tested through expert assessment of media, materials and practitioner. The results of experts assessment of the instructional media of science comics integrated on digestive system of human obtain very valid criteria or very feasible with the persentage of media expert assessment was 96% , material expert was 98% and practitioner was 91%. The result of difference in pretest and posttest shows that there are difference in student achievement before and after are teaching with instructional media of science comics integrated that is with a probability value smaller than α 0.05 (0.00 <0.05) by using the Wilcoxon Test. The diference indicate that effective instructional media of science comics integrated used in teaching and learning. Students response to the instructional media of science comics integrated was 98.57% with a very good criteria. Kata Kunci: media pembelajaran komik

    Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran STAD Dipadu Media Pembelajaran Komik Materi Sistem Pencernaan Manusia terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa

    This study aims to know the effect of Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) learning model combined comic learning media on student achievement. The type of research was a quasi experimental used the nonequivalent control group design. The study population was all students of class VIII SMP N 15 Manokwari, amounting to 84 students. Determination of sample used purposive sampling technique and obtained class VIII A with a number of 29 students (as experiment class) and class VIII B with a number of 26 students (as control class). Data analysis used Mann Whitney Test at 0.05 significant level with the help of SPSS 22 for windows program. The results showed that the significant value of 0.00 <α = 0.05 with the average of student achievement that taught with STAD learning model combined comics of 68.34 higher than in students who were taught by conventional learning model with the average results learning for 54.00. The conclusion, there is an effect of STAD learning model combined with comic learning material of human digestive system on student achievement

    Inquencing-based Learning Potential to Practice Metacognitive Skills

    Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengkaji potensi PBI untuk melatih keterampilan metakognitif siswa SMA. Sebanyak 63 siswa SMA menjadi sample dalam penelitian eksperimen ini. 30 siswa berada pada kelas eksperimen. 33 siswa berada di kelas control. Siswa diukur metakognitifnya menggunakan tes uraian berjumlah sembilan item. Data perbedaan metakognitif siswa dihitung menggunakan Mann-Whitney tes. Hasil analisis diperoleh bahwa metakognitif siswa di awal ada sama (sig. > 0.05). Hasil analisis metakognitif akhir mengungkap bahwa metakognitif siswa kelas eksperimen dan control adalah berbeda (sig.<0.05). Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa perbedaan keterampilan metakognitif siswa disebabkan oleh perbedaan pembelajaran yang digunakan. Siswa terlatih lebih baik metakognitifnya dengan pembelajaran inkuiri dibanding siswa di bukan pembelajaran inkuiri. Riset ini merekomendasikan bahwa guru dapat menggunakan pembelajaran inkuiri untuk memperbaiki keterampilan metakognitif siswanya
