    Transactional and Interpersonal Conversation Texts in English Textbook

    In this study, The researcher analyzed the transactional andinterpersonal conversation texts found in grade VIII English textbookentitled ―EOS English on Sky 2‖ and I also analyzed the linguisticfeatures of the transactional and interpersonal conversations in theEnglish textbook. This study focuses on the issues of structuralfunctionalapproach which analyzes the speech function, structuralapproach which analyzes linguistic features. This is a qualitative study.In calculating the data and the final result of data percentage,quantification was used to support this study. Units of analysis in thisstudy are moves and clauses. The conversation texts are presented in 8units. The moves were analyzed functionally and the clauses wereanalyzed structurally. The result shows that the speech functions of thetransactional conversation texts are 54.5% matching the standard ofcontent, the speech functions of the interpersonal conversation texts are2.1% matching the standard of content. The linguistic feature applied inthe transactional and interpersonal conversation texts uses the linguisticfeature in functional literacy level. The speech functions of conversationtexts introduced in EOS English on Sky 2 for junior high school grade VIII are less compatible with the standard of content based on thecompatibility levels. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti akan menganalisis teks percakapantransaksional dan teks percakapan interpersonal yang ada di dalam bukubahasa Inggris kelas VIII yang berjudul ―EOS English on Sky 2‖ danjuga menganalisis fitur linguistik (linguistic feature) dari percakapantransaksional maupun interpersonal dalam buku tersebut. Penelitian inifokus pada pendekatan fungsional dan struktural yang menganalisisfungsi bicara (speech function) dan linguistic feature. Ini merupakanpenelitian kualitatif. Untuk membantu dalam menghitung data dan hasilakhir prosentase data, maka digunakan kuantifikasi. Unit analisispenelitian ini adalah move dan clause. Teks percakapan dipersembahkandalam unit 8. Move dianalisis secara fungsional dan clause dianalisissecara struktural. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa speech function dari tekspercakapan transaksional adalah 54,5% yang sesuai dengan standar isi,speech function dari teks percakapan interpersonal adalah 2,1% yangsesuai dengan standar isi. Linguistic feature yang diterapkan dalam tekspercakapan transaksional maupun transaksional menggunakan linguisticfeature pada tingkat literasi fungsional.     Molecular phylogeneticis a material which studied in Evolution Subject for undergraduete student in Biology Education Programm. This subject need contextual learning materials and allow in development and progress of science and technology developing. The general problem of student isthe low knowledge in molecular area. One solution for this problem is provide a research-based textbook based on molecular approach. The textbook was developed based on ADDIE development model. The product was validated by instructional media expert, subject matter expert, education practitioner and tested on small group (nine students). Validation results from instructional media expert, subject matter expert, education practitioner, and small group are respectively 87,14%, 91,00%, 75,78%, and 82,22% .Filogenetik molekuler merupakan salah satu kajian yang dipelajari pada matakuliah Evolusi untuk jenjang S1 Pendidikan Biologi. Kajian ini memerlukan bahan ajar yang kontekstual dan tetap mengikuti perkembangan IPTEKS. Kendala yang muncul adalah pengetahuan mahasiswa dalam ranah molekuler masih rendah. Salah satu solusi yang dapat dilakukan adalah dengan menyediakan buku ajar berbasis penelitian denan pendekatan molekuler. Buku ajar dikembangkan berdasarkan model pengembangan ADDIE. Produk divalidasi oleh ahli media, materi, praktisi pendidikan dan diujicobakan pada kelompok kecil. Hasil validasi ahli media, ahli materi, praktisi pendidikan, dan uji coba kelompok kecil secara berturut turut adalah 87,14%, 91,00%, 75,78%, dan 82,22%

    This study aims to evaluate about online Arabic language learning at MAN 1 Gunungkidul based on the Decree of the Directorate General of Islamic Education by No. 2791 of 2020 on Emergency Curriculum Guidance at School with the Countenance Stake model. The Data collection techniques are carried out by observation, interview, and documentation. The results of this study are: 1) the learning plan is in the form of RPP content with an online model on Arabic language learning during the Covid-19 Pandemic at MAN 1 Gunung kidul falls into the very good category (84%), 2) the implementation of Arabic learning with online models on Arabic language learning during the Covid-19 Pandemic at MAN 1 Gunungkidul is in very good category (82%),  3) Assessment of Arabic learning with online model on Arabic learning during the Covid-19 Pandemic at MAN 1 Gunungkidul is in the good category (75.26%)

    Politeness of Speaking Introduced in Conversation Texts in MTs English Textbook Grade VII

    This study analyzes the conversation texts found in grade VII English textbook entitled “EOS English on Sky 1”. This study focuses on the issues: social contextual factors approach which analyzes the participants in the interaction and the communicative situation, and politeness which analyzes the respect that an individual has for him or herself and maintains the "self-esteem" in public and private situations. This is a qualitative study conducted in two phases: social contextual factors and politeness phases. The data were analyzed based on social contextual factors and politeness. In calculating the data and the final result of data percentage, quantification was used to support this study. The result shows that the social distances are intimate and not intimate with their relation is that teacher has higher position than students with the most frequently occurred are informal and in positive politeness

    Pengaruh Penggunaan Model Cooperative Script terhadap Kompetensi Membaca Pemahaman Siswa Kelas V Sekolah Dasar

    Penelitian ini didasarkan pada model Cooperative Script yang memiliki ciri belajar bersama teman sebaya dan bertukar informasi serta Kenyataan di lapangan bahwa siswa dihadapkan pada pembelajaran berbasis teks pada penggunaan kurikulum 2013. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model Cooperative Script terhadap kompetensi membaca siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Pre-experimental dengan jenis pre-test and post-test group. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tes. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis nonparametrik. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan diberikan pre-test di awal pembelajaran, kemudian diberikan perlakuan dan post-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan model Cooperative Script berpengaruh positif terhadap kompetensi membaca pemahaman siswa.
