    PERUBAHAN TEKANAN DARAH PADA LANSIA YANG MELAKUKAN SENAM PROLANIS DI PUSKESMAS TAMALANREA KOTA MAKASSAR

    Background: The high prevalence of hypertension sufferers worldwide is increasing in developed and developing countries, including Indonesia. Hypertension exercise is a sport that can relax blood vessels. Methods: Experimental quasi-research design with time series or pre and post designs. Population of 11 and using total sampling, Results: based on observations made at meetings I, III, V obtained the results of the comparison of systolic blood pressure before prolanis training p = 0.002 <a = 0.05 while the ratio of diastolic blood pressure after prolanis exercise p = 0.002 <a = 0.05. Conclusion: There were changes in systolic and diastolic blood pressure in hypertensive elderly after and before doing prolanic exercise. It is hoped that people with hypertension can exercise regularly because it can help lower blood pressure, improve fitness and increase the body's metabolism which can control blood pressureLatar Belakang: Tingginya prevalensi penderita hipertensi di seluruh dunia meningkat di negara maju dan berkembang, termasuk Indonesia. Olahraga hipertensi merupakan salah satu olahraga yang dapat mengendurkan pembuluh darah. Metode: Desain penelitian eksperimental semu dengan desain time series atau pre dan post. Populasi sebanyak 11 dan menggunakan total sampling, Hasil: berdasarkan observasi yang dilakukan pada pertemuan I, III, V diperoleh hasil perbandingan tekanan darah sistolik sebelum latihan prolanis p = 0,002 <a = 0,05 sedangkan rasio tekanan darah diastolik setelah latihan prolanis p = 0,002 < a = 0,05.  Kesimpulan: Ada perubahan tekanan darah sistolik dan diastolik pada lansia hipertensi setelah dan sebelum melakukan senam prolanis. Diharapkan penderita hipertensi dapat berolahraga secara teratur karena dapat membantu menurunkan tekanan darah, meningkatkan kebugaran dan meningkatkan metabolisme tubuh yang dapat mengontrol tekanan darah

    Memory is one of the cognitive processes that is usually worse in older people. Improving cognitive abilities can be done with brain exercises. This study aims to determine the effect of cognitive function on the elderly before and after brain training in the working area of ??the Bontoramba Public Health Center, Kab. Gowa, 2022. The type of research was a Pre-Experimental One Group Pretest-Posttest design using one group. A total of 35 subjects were selected using Purposive Sampling. Data collection was through interviews, while the MMSE (Mini Mental State Exam) instrument was used to measure the cognitive function of the elderly. Data analysis used the Wilcoxon test. The results showed that the analysis using the Wilcoxon test obtains Positive Ranks or difference (positive) values, which showed that there were 29 subjects whose cognitive function increased from the pre-test score to the post-test score, where the average increase score was 15,00 and the total score was 435,00. This means that there is a significant influence between the cognitive function of the elderly before and after the test. It is concluded that brain exercise has an effect on increasing the cognitive function of the elderly in the working area of the Bontoramba Health Center, Bontonompo District, Gowa Regency
