    No full text
The paper presents fast method of identifying industrial and general use rechargeable batteries condition and defects exemplary lithium-ion cells. The proposed method is based on measuring a internal battery electrical impedance for selected frequency points and the next the results are compare with reference characteristics. Diagnostic process is performed for a few minutes when the battery is charging or discharging. So far used, the most popular methods require controlled charging and discharging cells to determine approximately of their capacity and need a long time of the diagnostic process (about few hours to over a dozen hours). The new method allows the dramatically reduction of measurement time and in effect reduces financial work costs of service. The paper shows a various setup systems with commonly use RLC impedance bridges were used in the research. The analysis of measurements allowed to determine the specific spectral function, which indicates rechargeable battery condition. Moreover, it is also possible to apply the obtain method to another electrochemical cell type

This paper presents the concept of an autonomous measuring instrument powered by a locally accessible source of heat with a contact surface area of over a dozen or several dozen cm2 and a temperature higher or lower than the ambient temperature. The design and construction of the measuring device will be based on two modules developed and constructed in the course of previous work: a dedicated low-power thermoelectric generator and luminescent fiber-optic detector. The system can be additional equipped with a wireless transmission module. The studies show that, due to the power supply and photoluminescent measurement system with high stability of the operating point, this device will be capable of continuous operation without maintenance for many months.W artykule została przedstawiona koncepcja autonomicznego przyrządu pomiarowego zasilanego lokalnie dostępnym źródłem ciepła o powierzchni kontaktowej od kilkunastu do kilkudziesięciu centymetrów kwadratowych i temperaturze wyższej lub niższej od temperatury otoczenia o kilkanaście stopni Celsjusza. Opisano budowę i zasadę działania dwóch opracowanych w toku dotychczasowych prac modułów: dedykowanego generatora termoelektrycznego małej mocy oraz luminescencyjnego, światłowodowego detektora gazów. Przeprowadzone badania wskazują, że układ pomiarowy oparty na zaprezentowanej technologii będzie przez wiele miesięcy zdolny do ciągłego działania bez obsługi serwisowej
