    Currently, 80% of conventional energy is used to fulfill general public's needs andindustries. The depletion of oil and gas reserves and rapid growth in conventional energyconsumption have continuously forced us to discover renewable energy sources, like solar, wind,biomass, and hydropower, to support economic development in the future. Solar energy travels at aspeed of 186,000 miles per second. Only a small part of the radiant energy that the sun emits intospace ever reaches the Earth, but that is more than enough to supply all our energy demand.Indonesia is a tropical country and located in the equator line, so it has an abundant potential ofsolar energy. Most of Indonesian area get enough intensity of solar radiation with the average dailyradiation around 4 kWh/m2. Basically, the solar systems use solar collectors and concentrators forcollecting, storing, and using solar radiation to be applied for the benefit of domestics, commercials,and industrials. Common applications for solar thermal energy used in industry are the SWHs, solardryers, space heating, cooling systems and water desalination

    This study aim to propose a software costing for public sector, by using both of activity-based costing (ABC) method and traditional costing method. We based on a case study in Pusintek, Ministry of Finance and using a field observation, interviews and literature studies to collect data and information such as related to the preparation of software costing simulations. Finally, we proposed a software costing by ABC method and traditional costing method for Pusintek. We find that the software costing by ABC is cheaper than traditional costing, however the ABC costing takes more assumption and more complex calculations. We have several limitation related to lack of data, use more assumptions and find a complicated of data's segregation. We suggest to use traditional costing to calculate the software cost, because traditional costing is simpler and practicable in the public sector, since the degree of complexity is lower than ABC costing. The ABC has more accurate cost calculation, but it considers more assumption, need more documents, and higher complexity of job's procedures. In the public sector, it was still a lack of requirement to apply the ABC

    Municipal garbage and seaweed are organic materials which can be soil ameliorant (additive) important to improve soil chemical and physics. Different organic material sources given to the soil will make plants growing on it respond differently except the seeds. This study aim at testing the response given by organic matter from the city garbage and seaweed on marginal soils (with low pH areas, clayey texture and low nutrient content) on the jackfruit seed growth. The research design used is random complete design with 6 treatments and 4 replications. The treatments tested were B0 = (control-without ameliorant), B1 = Soil + (100 mg N, 60 mg P, 100 mg K, 60 mg Mg, Ca 60 mg kg -1 soil)., B2 = Soil + (50 mg N, 30 mg P, 50 mg K, 30 mg Mg, 30 Ca mg kg -1 soil) + organic materials. Sea weed., B3 = Soil + organic materials. Seaweed., B4 = Soil + (50 mg N, 30 mg P, 50 mg K, 30 mg Mg, 30 mg Ca kg -1 soil) + organic materials. Municipal garbage., B5 = Soil + organic materials. municipal garbage. The results showed that the provision of municipal garbage organic and seaweed significantly affect the parameters of leaf width, however, sea weed organic materials has a more significant effect than municipal garbage

    The research aims to increase student learning achievement on the topic of hydrocarbon inclass XI MIPA Senior High School (SMAN) 1 Kampar. Aurora 3D Presentation was used when the teacher explained the topic being able to explain abstract concepts into concrete, one of them on the topic of hydrocarbon. The research was a kind of experiment research with pretest-posttest design. The samples of this research were the students of class X­I MIPA 3 as the experimental class and students of class XI MIPA 4 as the control class. Experimental class is a class that is applied to media Aurora 3D Presentation while the control class was not. Data analysis technique which is used is t-test. Based on data analysis of data obtained tcount> ttable is 2,30 >1,67, it means that the application of Aurora 3D Presentation as media presentation can improve student learning achievement on the topic of hydrocarbon in class XI MIPA Senior High School (SMAN) 1 Kampar, increase learning of 7,03%

    The objective of this research is to develop the student's work sheet on the subject of reaction rate.The research is done in FKIP Riau University. The method of this research is design reserach with the 4-D model which include Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. But this research is done until develop. The data research is validation's result of student work sheet based on constructivism on reaction rate. The data analysis technique is descriptive statistic analysis and analysis done by percentage of validation score. The average scores of valuation by validator's team from four expendiency components such as content, language, layout, and graphical are 92,86%, 93,33%, 95,83%, and 93,75%. In spite of average score totally of student worksheet based on contructisvism on reaction rate is 93,94% which is valid criteria. It means means student work sheet that is developed ready to use. Whereas percentage response of students is 95,75% to very good criteria

    Dampak Perubahan Nilai Tukar Mata Uang Terhadap Ekspor Indonesia

    Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah (1) menganalisis dampak Perubahan nilai tukar uang terhadap volume ekspor agregat dan komoditas Crude palm oil (CPO), karet, dan batu bara Indonesia, (2) menganalisis faktor yang mempengaruhi volume ekspor agregat dan komoditas CPO, karet, dan batu bara Indonesia, (3) menganalisis respon ekspor Indonesia terhadap guncangan variabel yang mempengaruhinya. Metode analisis data yang digunakan VAR/VECM, impulse-response function, dan fixed-effects vector decomposition. Ekonomi dunia menunjukkan hasil yang sesuai prediksi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan pada volume ekspor pada seluruh model. Harga relatif memberikan hasil sesuai dengan prediksi negatif dan signifikan pada seluruh model. Depresiasi nilai tukar hanya menunjukkan hubungan positif signifikan pada model CPO. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pergerakan nilai tukar tidak memiliki dampak pada volume ekspor Indonesia walaupun model komoditas hanya memiliki sedikit bagian impor pada barang akhir untuk ekspor

    Kajian Termodinamika Adsorpsi Hibrida Merkapto-Silika Dari Abu Sekam Padi Terhadap Ion Co(II)

    A research on the study of the thermodynamics of adsorption mercapto-silica hybrid from rice husk ash to the ions Co (II) has been done. This study aims to determine capacity and energy adsorption of hybrid mercapto-silica (HMS) and silica gel (SG) to the ions Co (II) . In this study, silica gel was made using sodium silicate from rice husk ash. Furthermore, the organic compound 3-(trimethoxysilil )-1-prophantiol immobilized on SG to HMS produced. Adsorbents were characterized using X-ray diffraction and FTIR spectrophotometer. Solution of Co (II) is then contacted with the SG and HMS at the variation of pH, time , and initial concentration. The results obtained by HMS adsorption capacity is almost three times larger than the SG, the magnitude of adsorption capacity of each is 250.00 mg / g and 90.91 mg / g . While the adsorption energy obtained is 51.69 KJ / mol for SG , and 23.65 KJ / mol for HMS
