Hémangiome surrénalien: à propos d’un cas

L’hémangiome surrénalien est une entité histologique très rare appartenant au groupe des incidentalomes. Il est souvent asymptomatique, de découverte fortuite lors d’un examen d’imagerie sollicité par une autre affection abdominale. Lymphome primitif du sein: à propos d’un cas

Le lymphome primitif du sein est une entité histologique très rare du cancer du sein. Les aspects cliniques et radiologiques ne présentent pas de spécificités particulières. Le diagnostic est souvent retardé. Le traitement se base essentiellement sur la chimiothérapie. Le pronostic est globalement péjoratif. Nous rapportons un cas de lymphome malin non Hodgkinien primitif du sein chez une patiente de 38 ans. Parallèlement une revue de la littérature est entreprise évoquant les aspects épidémiologiques, cliniques, histologiques et thérapeutiques de ce néoplasme. Pan African Medical Journal 2012; 12:5

Tumeur pseudopapillaire et solide du pancréas: à propos d’un cas et revue de la literature

Les tumeurs pseudopapillaires et solides du pancréas sont des tumeurs rares, d'étiopathogénie encore incertaine, et surviennent surtout chez la jeune femme. Leur pronostic reste bon surtout après exérèse complète. Nous rapportons une nouvelle observation d'une jeune femme, révélée par des douleurs abdominales. Sclerosing Encapsulating Peritonitis: Solving the Diagnosis Challenge of a Rare Entity

Sclerosing encapsulating peritonitis (SEP) is an unusual fibroinflammatory disease of the peritoneum marked by the development of a fibrous membrane enveloping generally the small intestines. The knowledge around this subject is not completely understood. And the etiology can be either idiopathic or secondary to several diseases, treatments, and/or medications. We present a case of a 52-year-old man suffering from atypical clinical symptoms including recurrent abdominal ascites and intestinal obstruction. An abdominal computed tomography showed findings typical of SEP. Therefore, the patient benefited from exploratory laparotomy, which confirmed the diagnosis of idiopathic SEP. Postoperatively, he again had an episode of bowel obstruction, but this was controlled with steroids. Diagnosis of SEP is a real challenge to surgeons, gastroenterologists, and radiologists. And imagery is very helpful to make the diagnosis. Consequently, it is imperative that all hospital practitioners should distinguish between this lesion and other etiology of acute peritonitis
