    STRATEGI PENCEGAHAN KEGAGALAN PANEN PADA BUDIDAYA IKAN NILA (Oreochromis niloticus) STUDI KASUS KECAMATAN TUGUMULYO KABUPATEN MUSI RAWAS

    Ikan nila merupakan ikan air tawar yang memiliki nilai ekonomis tinggi dan telah banyak dibudidayakan di berbagai daerah salah satunya di Kabupaten Musi Rawas. Perkembangan budidaya perikanan khususnya ikan nila di Kabupaten Musi Rawas terus mengalami peningkatan. Kegagalan panen merupakan permasalahan yang mengancam keberlangsungan produksi perikanan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kegagalan panen pada budidaya ikan nila di Kabupaten Musi Rawas dan untuk membangun model dinamis strategi pencegahan kegagalan panen pada budidaya ikan nila di Kabupaten Musi Rawas. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode purposive sampling dengan pertimbangan teknik snowball. Metode ini diterapkan dalam pengambilan data kuesioner terhadap responden dimana kriteria responden yang dipilih yakni masyarakat yang memiliki budidaya ikan nila di Kecamatan Tugumulyo. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebanyak 75% petani ikan nila di Kecamatan Tugumulyo pernah mengalami kegagalan panen. Adapun penyebabnya seperti adanya bencana banjir, kenaikan harga pakan dan serangan penyakit. Adanya bimbingan dari pemerintah maupun penyuluh perikanan setempat mengenaipengendalian penyakit dan penggunaan pakan alami sebagai alternatif atau pakan tambahan sehingga mampu meminimalisisr resiko kegagalan panen akibat kenaikan harga pakan.Ikan nila merupakan ikan air tawar yang memiliki nilai ekonomis tinggi dan telah banyak dibudidayakan di berbagai daerah salah satunya di Kabupaten Musi Rawas.     Pari Island has considerable natural resource potential, so that it has the potential to have socio-economic impacts on the local community if managed properly. The current management of Pari Island is indeed focused on the management of marine tourism, and this activity has been going on for a long time and has had a very significant impact on the economic sector in Pari Island. On the other hand, marine tourism activities in Pari Island are feared to have an impact on the ecological sector, so that to achieve sustainable management, good supervision and control is needed so that its potential is maintained. The purpose of this research is to see the status of socio-economic and ecological sustainability as a result of the development of marine tourism in Pari Island. The data were collected through in-depth interviews with the people of Pari Island, apart from that the data were also obtained from primary and secondary data related to socio-ecology. To assess the level of sustainability in each dimension, a Multidimensional Scaling (MDS) analysis was carried out, in order to obtain two dimensions that had a value below 75%, namely the institutional dimension which had a value of 27.3% (bad), and the infrastructure dimension which had a value. 73.3% (Enough).  Meanwhile, the other 3 dimensions, such as the ecological, economic, and social dimensions, show that the value is in the continuous category, namely> 75% so that it is very supportive of the sustainability of marine tourism business management.  Keywords: impact of marine tourism development, marine tourism, Pari Island, sustainable managemen

    Seaweed cultivation in Pari Island does play an important role in the community's economy, this is because seaweed cultivation has been the main livelihood for the people of Pari Island for a long time and for generations. The dependence of the people of Pari Island on seaweed is followed by high demand for this commodity, this is because seaweed originating from Pari Island has a more affordable and stable price when compared to seaweed sourced from outside Java.  Currently seaweed cultivation activities on Pari Island are slowly being abandoned, even since the last two years seaweed cultivation activities are no longer found, this is thought to be due to tourism activities that directly degrade aquaculture activities.  The purpose of this research is to look at the management status of Pari Island from the cultivation aspect and the impacts arising from these activities, besides that this research will also examine the sustainability status of aquaculture activities in terms of various aspects including ecological, social, economic, institutional, and infrastructure aspects.  Data were collected through in-depth interviews with the community in Pari Island, besides that data were also obtained from primary and secondary data related to socio-ecology. To assess the level of sustainability in each dimension, Multidimensional Scaling (MDS) analysis was carried out, in order to obtain a fairly sustainable average value of suitability which includes the dimensions of infrastructure (73.37), institutional (71.24), ecology (62.48 ), and the economic dimension (62,16). While the dimension that has a very appropriate sustainability value is the social dimension with a value of 76.33 which means it is very suitable.
