Nowadays, posture defects are a quite significant medical, economic and social problem. They mainly start when the children start school. It is extremely important to diagnose abnormalities in body posture as soon as possible to implement preventive and curative treatment. The main goal of the study was to assess the posture of children in school age. The research involved a group of 40 children from primary schools in the ƛwiętokrzyskie voivodeship. The attitude was assessed using the optoelectronic Diers Formetric III 4D method. It is a photogrammetric video recording via a raster stereography process. The research was carried out in May 2016. The respondents were in the age range 6-13. In 75% of the subjects, the lateral curvature of the spine was observed and in 25% the scoliotic posture was observed. Due to the location of the curvature, the most of them because up to 50% covered the thoracic segment of the spine. Due to the direction, right-sided curves dominated, giving 90%, and due to the number of bends of the curve, the highest number of scoliosis was 80%. In the sagittal plane, the flat back dominated among children, the number of which was 45%. There was no relationship between age and the angle of scoliosis. Studies have shown that the dominant defect in the sagittal plane turned out to be lateral curvature of the spine. The scoliotic attitude mainly concerned boys aged 11 and 12. An important problem turned out to be quite flat backs

In the group of disorders in children with autism spectrum observed food selectivity. The article presents a case study of a therapeutic program applied to a child with food selectivity. A 5-year-old boy with a diagnosed autism spectrum was selected for the observation. The criterion for including the child in the observation was the diagnosed food selectivity and hypersensitivity of the touch system. For this purpose, a detailed interview with parents and medical consultations were made during which food selectivity due to metabolic disorders was excluded. The boy participated in a six-month therapy conducted once a week by the Sensory Integration method. The research was conducted from July to December 2018. The child was observed to minimize the degree of hypersensitivity of the tactile system after a period of 3 months of the sensory diet. After 6 months of treatment, a significant progress was observed in the widening of the boy's nutritional repertoire. Currently, the child eats most of the food without diversifying the food structure. In the child's case study analyzed, the effectiveness of Sensory Integration therapy applied in food selectivity was confirmed. The effectiveness of stimulation of Sensory Integration Therapy is an opportunity to improve the minimization of food choices in children with the autism spectrum

Evaluation of the processing of sensory processes in the process of neurodevelopment treatment

The proper development of sensorimotor integration depends on the efficient functioning of the central nervous system and on the inflow of the right amount of stimuli from your own body and from the environment. Integration of information from basic sensory systems - vestibular, proprioceptive and tactile - plays a particularly important role here. Appropriate stimulation of the nervous system by stimuli derived from the three basic senses is essential for proper psychomotor development of the infant. The high plasticity of the ripening central nervous system means that early treatment may cause the alleviation or even withdrawal of pathological symptoms. The aim of the study is to assess the level of sensory integration in children with locomotive motor disorders and to assess the possibility of stimulation of this process during NDT-Bobath therapy. The research included 43 children aged 4-12 months in the ƚwiętokrzyskie Province. The tests used the Sensomotor Functions Test in Infants (TSFI), which were carried out twice (before the rehabilitation and after four months of therapy). Before starting the rehabilitation, 81% of the children experienced impaired processing of sensory integration processes. After four months, this percentage decreased to 47%. The most significant changes were found in the field of touch and vestibular integration. Disturbances in the processing of sensory integration processes are a significant problem in children with motor-related disorders of central origin. The NDT-Bobath method improves the functioning of sensory processes

The aim of the study was to analyze the amplitude of SEMG rectifier spine in children with scoliotic changes. SEMG amplitude rectifier back of the camera has been studied Noraxon TeleMyo DTS. The shape of the spine was estimated optoelectronic method Diers formetric III 4D. The research was Carried out in the Posturology Laboratory at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, UJK in Kielce (Poland). In the group of children with scoliosis curvature of the most frequently occurred on the location of the rib. In girls, it represented (62%) in boys (56%). Univariate analysis of variance showed significant differences among boys in intra-amplitude measurements SEMG variable lower limbs up the left side of the lumbar. Means, that the value of the amplitude distribution SEMG rectifier ridge in the study of lower limbs up the left side of the lumbar differed significantly between the groups scoliotic attitudes, scoliosis and normal. The amplitude of SEMG rectifier ridge in the study of lower limbs up the lumbar left was the lowest in the group of scoliosis. Due to the fact that a group of boys with scoliosis had most of the left-hand direction of curvature in the lumbar region, we can conclude that the greater the amplitude of SEMG rectifier occurred at the back of the concave side of the curvature of the lumbar spine

The aim of the study was to analyze the frequency of SEMG rectifier spine in children with scoliosis. Analysis electromyographic rectifier spine was performed using a 12-channel camera Noraxon TeleMyo DTS. The shape of the spine was assessed using optoelectronic Diers formetric III 4D. In boys, thoracic scoliosis twoarched right-handed and left-sided lumbar were 19 (30%). The largest absolute differences in the frequency of EMG rectifier spine in girls with scoliosis group occurred lying ahead for the variable lumbar left (S = 36, 99). In turn, the value of the variable lower limbs up the right side of the lumbar was absolutely the most diverse among boys in the group of scoliosis (S = 40.54). Univariate analysis of variance indicated that there are significant differences in the measurements of intra-frequency variable SMEG rectifier spine torso upright thoracic among boys (p = 0.04). This means that the values of the variables were significantly different between groups attitudes scoliotic, scoliosis and normal boys, and the value of the significance level was less than 0.5 (

The aim of this study was to assess the relationship between sensory integration and balance deficits as well as scoliotic changes in young schoolgirls. The study comprised 54 girls aged 11 years with scoliotic changes. The Clinical Test of Sensory Integration and Balance of the Biodex Balance System platform were used to analyze the deficits in sensory integration and balance. Scoliotic changes were assessed using the Diers Formetric III 4D optoelectronic method. In the present study, there was a significant relationship between sensory integration and balance deficits as well as spine curvature angle (°) (p = 0.01), vertebral surface rotation (°) (p = 0.03), pelvic tilt (°) (p = 0.02), and lateral deviation (mm) (p = 0.04). The integration of the sensory systems has a positive effect on the structure of the intended and controlled movement as well as body posture and the development of the spine. In the treatment of scoliotic changes, one should also consider exercises that improve sensory integration as well as position and balance reactions
