Assessing antioxidant activity of tea extracts and some of chemicals using voltammetry and potentiometry
The comparison of antioxidant activity of tea extracts and some chemicals was conducted by independent methods: voltammetry and potentiometry. Except for few cases, we showed satisfactory agreement between test substances activity rows obtained by two different methods. Mechanisms of antioxidative action were proposed. Presumably, sample components are involved in competing reactions like reduction-oxidation and complexation reactions. Limitations and advantages of both methods were defined
