Kebiasaan Makanan dan Hubungan Panjang Berat Ikan Julung - Julung (Dermogenys SP.) di Sungai Alur Hitam Kecamatan Bendahara Kabupaten Aceh Tamiang
The objectives of the present study were to evaluate the food habit and lenght weight relationships of Dermogenys sp. The study was conducted from April to June 2015. The fish were sampled in Alur Hitam River, Bendahara Subdistrict, Aceh Tamiang using hand nets. The sampled fishes were preserved in 10% formalin for further analysis. A total of 136 fish samples were catched during the study. The stomach analysis showed that Formica sp. was predominant food item for Dermogenys sp. (52.53%), followed by Dolichoderus sp. (38.38 %), indicate that Formica and Dolichoderus are the primary foods for Dermogenys sp. Therefore, Dermogenys is classified as an insectivorous food habit. The length of alimentary tract ranged between 1.54 cm to 1.67 cm. The length - weight relationships and condition factor showed that the average b value was 2.753 displayed an allometric negatif growth pattern, while the condition factor value was 103.10 indicate that the water condition in term of prey and predator availability are in balance condition.Penelitian tentang kebiasaan makan dan hubungan panjang berat ikan Dermogenys sp. telah dilakukan pada bulan April-Juni 2015. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kebiasaan makan dan hubungan panjang berat dan faktor kondisi ikan Dermogenys sp.. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode survey, sampel ikan di tangkap di Sungai Alur Hitam Kecamatan Bendahara, Kabupaten Aceh Tamiang dengan menggunaan serok dan langsung diwetkan dengan larutan formalin 10%. Selama penelitian tertangkap 136 ekor ikan Dermogenys sp.. Hasil analisis kebiasaan isi lambung diperoleh semut merah Formica sp. ditemukan pada 71 ekor sampel ikan (52,53%) dan diikuti oleh semut hitam Dolichoderus sp. pada 52 ekor sampel (38,38%) dan kedua jenis makanan tersebut tergolong kedalam makanan utama dan makanan yang tidak teridentifikasi terdapat pada 19 ekor sampel ikan (14,29%). Panjang rerata usus ikan Dermogenys Ā±1,54-1,67 cm, sehingga dengan demikian ikan Dermogenys sp. dapat digolongkan sebagai ikan insektifora (pemakan insekta). Hasil analisis hubungan panjang-berat diperoleh nilai koefisien b= 2,753 menunjukkan pola pertumbuhan alometrik negative dan nilai faktor kondisi 103,10 menunjukkan kondisi perairan masih tergolong baik atau stabil
Prevention of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) Associated with the Aedes Aegypti Larvae Presence Based on the Type of Water Source
Aedes aegypti is the vector of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) disease. Containers are breeding places for DHF vector and the most commonly found larvae in the bath water containers. The presence of Aedes aegypti larvae in a container could be affected by the type of water source besides the container\u27s color, material, location, lid existence and the container\u27s drain frequency. This study was conducted to determine the associate of water source type with larvae presence and the additional factors. This study used observational analytic with case control design. The case group consisted of households using well water and the control group consisted of households using tap water with a sample size of 130 households for each group. The sample was collected by proportional random sampling in five villages. The data was analyzed using a regression logistic test. The significant variables associated with the presence of larvae were the water source type (OR=1.923), container\u27s color (OR=2.345), container\u27s location (OR=2.241), container\u27s lid existence (OR=2.122) and the container\u27s drain frequency (OR=2.260). This study did not consider the significant association of the container\u27s material. The dominant variable associated with the presence of larvae was the container\u27s drain frequency which was controlled by the water source type, container\u27s color and container\u27s location
Loss Estimation of Protected Forest Damage and Its Impact on Fishery Sector in Goa Cina Beach, South Area of Malang Regency
Goa Cina is one of magnificent beach destinations in the South Area of Malang Regency which attracts local and foreign tourists. Generally, there are two kinds of tourism management namely ecoturism based and masstourism based. However, Goa Cina implements masstourism based management. Thus it needs an area to build tourism facilities and infrastructures. The ideal functions of protected forest had conversed into buildings such as parking lots, stalls, religious buildings, restrooms, etc. The damage of protected forest caused by its missing functions contributes to some losses. The aims of this research were to: 1) count the loss as the impact of protected forest conversion in Goa Cina which turned into tourism facilities and infrastructures; 2) analyze its impact on fishery production. The data were collected by conducting in-depth interview with the key informant and finding secondary data. The result indicated that the conversion of protected forest into tourism facilities and infrastructures caused ecological and economic loss and it needed massive ecological recovery. The fishery production also decreased due to sedimentation of saltwater. It is suggested that ecotourism should be considered for tourism development instead of masstourisnm
Analysis of Marketing Mix on Purchase Decision of Softboned-Milkfish āMrs. Jeniā in Malang City of East Java
SMEs Softboned-Milkfish (called as Bandeng Presto) āBu Jeniā is one of SMEs of fish product in Malang City. This research conducted to determine and analyze the effect of the marketing mix and marketing mix variables that have a dominant influence on purchase decisions of Softboned-Milkfish āBu Jeniā. Research method using quantitative descriptive research. Type of data used are primary and secondary data. Determination of the number of samples using the linear time function method and the sampling technique used was accidental sampling. The method of collecting data is observations, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. Research variables used consist of independent variables including product, price, place, and promotion, as well as the dependent variable is the purchase decision. Methods of data analysis using the instrument test data, the classic assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis and hypothesis testing. The research result available to the regression equation Y = 2,695 + 0,535X1 + 0,223X2 + 0,467X3 + 0,183X4 + e. Simultaneously, the independent variables be used to real a significant effect together on the dependent variable. Partially, the independent variables have significant effect individually on the purchasing decision are product and place, while the other variables that price and promotion have no significant effect on purchasing decisions. The product strategy is the dominant variable determine the purchasing decisions
Efisiensi Motor Induksi 3 Sebagai Generator Induksi 3
Motor induksi 3phase pada umumnya digunakan sebagai motor penggerak beban dalam bidang industri. Dalam kondisi tertentu, motor induksi 3phase dapat digunakan sebagai penghasil daya atau pembangkit daya listrik. Analisa efisiensi motor induksi 3phase sebagai generator induksi 3phase (MISGI) ditinjau dengan melihat karakteristik dari motor induksi sebelum dioperasikan sebagai generator induksi 3phase dan sesudah dioperasikan sebagai generator induksi 3phase. Analisa perhitungan efisiensi dilakukan dengan menggunakan program matlab . Efisiensi daya meningkat sebanyak 12 kali dari daya motor. Faktor daya dan daya output meningkat dengan meningkatnya kecepatan putar. Untuk dapat beroperasi sebagai generator, kecepatan putar rotor motor induksi 3phase harus diatas kecepatan sinkronnya
Penetapan Kadar Flavonoid Total Ekstrak Etanol Kulit Buah Alpukat (Persea Americana Mill.) Dengan Metode Spektrofotometri Uv-vis
Avocado plant (Persea americana Mill.), belongs to Lauraceae family which have medicinal properties. Avocado peel contains flavonoid compounds that can be used to protect and reduce the skin damage against UV rays. This study aimed to determine the total flavonoids content of the ethanol extract of the avocado peel using UV-Vis spectrophotometry. The ethanol extract of avocado peel was obtained by maceration with ethanol. The qualitative analysis used FeCl3 by forming green complex. The determination of total flavonoids content is conducted based on AlCl3 method with total flavonoids expressed in QE (Quercetin equivalent) at the maximum wavelength of 435 nm. The result showed that the average content of flavonoid total is 4.0122 mgQE/g extract
Kinerja dan Nilai Tambah Agroindustri Sabut Kelapa pada Kawasan USAha Agroindustri Terpadu (Kuat) di Kecamatan Pesisir Selatan Kabupaten Pesisir Barat
The research aims to analyze (1) the performance (physic and financially) of cocofiber agroindustry, (2) added value of coco fiber agroindustry. The research was conducted in Kawasan Usaha Agroindustri Terpadu(KUAT) at Pesisir Selatan Sub-District of Pesisir Barat District and the location was choosen purposively. Research location was chosen purposively based on the quantity of workers. Data were analyzed using descriptive quantitative method. The results showed that (1) performance of coco fiber agroindustry was profitable with amount of productivity of business agroindustry 2.50, the productivity of labor 76,56 kg/HOK and the capacity 67 %, whereas the coco fiber agroindustry financially feasible as shown with the NPV value of Rp 1,224,513.693, IRR 36.58%, Net B/C 2.77, Gross B/C 1.21 and Payback period for 5.51 years, (2) the coco fiber agroindustry gives added value of Rp 189.04/kg with the ratio 57.55%.Key words: added value, agroindustry, coco fiber, financial, performanc
Pengaruh Intellectual Capital Terhadap Abnormal Return Saham Dan Kinerja Keuangan (Studi Pada Perusahaan Perbankan Di Bursa Efek Indonesia Tahun 2011-2015)
The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of intellectual capital to abnormal stock return and financial perfomance of banking firms. The abnormal stock return was measured by cumulative abnormal return (CAR), and average abnormal return (AAR), the company\u27s financial perfomance measured by return on assets (ROA), assets turn over (ATO) and growth in revenue (GR). Laten variables used in this study was the perfomance of intellectual capital as measured by VAICā¢ (VACA, VAHU, STVA). The sample study was using banking company listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for 2011-2015. Research data using purposive sampling method. Data obtained amounted to 75 companies in the period 2011-2015. This study uses PLS version 3.0 to analyze the data. The result showed that significant intellectual capital positive significantly effect the abnormal stock return and financial perfomance that measured by CAR, AAR, ROA and ATO, but no effect on GR. Overall, this research found that structural capital (STVA) gives the most contribution in creating value added of the company
Pertumbuhan dan Kelangsungan Hidup Benih Ikan Peres (Osteochilus Vittatus) pada Ransum Harian yang Berbeda
The objective of the present stady was to determine the optimum level of feeding rate for peres fish (Osteochilus vittatus). The experimental fish fed with a commersial diet contains 48% crude protein. The fish sample was 1.0 cm in average length and 0.066 g in average weight at stocking density of 20 fish per aquarium (45 cm x 45 cm x 35 cm). The fish was fed three times a day at 8 AM, 12 AM and 5 PM for 60 days. The ANOVA test showed that the feeding rate gave a significant effect on weight gain, length gain, and specific growth rate (p0.05). In general the higher growth rates were found at 8% feeding rate, while the higher hepatosomatic index and survival rate were found at 5% feeding, but these values were not different significatly with 8% feeding rate. It is coucluded that the optimum level at feeding rate for peres fish (O. vittatus) was 8% body weight per day.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan jumlah ransum harian yang optimal kepada benih ikan peres (Osteochilus vittatus). Pakan uji yang digunakan adalah pakan komersil yang mengandung protein 48% dengan perlakuan jumlah ransum harian yaitu 3%, 4%, 5%, 6%, 7%, 8% dan 9% dari bobot tubuh perhari. Akuarium yang digunakan dalam penelitian 45x45x35 dengan padat tebar ikan 20 ekor/akuarium. Benih yang digunakan berukuran rerata panjang 1 cm dan berat 0,066 g. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 7 perlakuan dan 3 kali ulangan, pakan diberikan 3 kali sehari pada pukul 08:00, 12:00, 17:00 WIB selama 60 hari. Hasil uji ANOVA menunjukkan bahwa jumlah pemberian ransum harian yang berbeda berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertambahan panjang, pertambahan bobot, pertumbuhan spesifik (0,05). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pertumbuhan tertinggi dijumpai pada ransum harian 8%, hepatosomatik indeks dan kelangsungan hidup tertinggi pada ransum harian 5%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwajumlah ransum harian yang optimal untuk benih ikan peres (O. vittatus) adalah 8% bobot tubuh per hari
Improving Students Ability in Reading Comprehension Hortatory Exposition Text Through Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition
This study was a classroom action research (CAR) at eleventh grade students of MA Negeri 02 Pontianak in academic year 2011/2012. The aim of this research is to know how well cooperative integrated reading and composition (CIRC) help the students in reading comprehension. The tools of data collecting in this research were observation checklist, field note and writing test. Data was analyzed by using scoring profile. The analysis of students test result covered students ability in finding out the main idea, details, reference, understanding the inference and vocabulary and making the summary of text. The students ability in reading comprehension hortatory exposition text improved in three cycles, from 4.87 (multiple choice) and 6.54 (essay) in cycle 1, then improved in cycle 2, 7.72(multiple choice) and 4.55 (essay), up to 8.6 (multiple choice) and 8.7 (essay) in cycle 3
