Transformations of Spatial Distributions of Bio-Polymers and Nanoparticles in Water Suspensions Induced by Resonance-Like Low Frequency Electrical Fields
Water suspensions of in-organic (metals and oxides)
and organic nano-objects (chitozan and collagen) were subjected to
the treatment of direct and alternative electrical fields. In addition to
quasi-periodical spatial patterning resonance-like performance of
spatial distributions of these suspensions has been found at low
frequencies of alternating electrical field. These resonances are
explained as the result of creation of equilibrium states of groups of
charged nano-objects with opposite signs of charges at the interparticle
distances where the forces of Coulomb attraction are
compensated by the repulsion forces induced by relatively negative
polarization of hydrated regions surrounding the nanoparticles with
respect to pure water. The low frequencies of these resonances are
explained by comparatively big distances between the particles and
their big masses with t\respect to masses of atoms constituting
molecules with high resonance frequencies. These new resonances
open a new approach to detailed modeling and understanding of
mechanisms of the influence of electrical fields on the functioning of
internal organs of living organisms at the level of cells and neurons

A Contribution of the Trivial Connection to Jones Polynomial and Witten's Invariant of 3d Manifolds I
We use the Chern-Simons quantum field theory in order to prove a recently
conjectured limitation on the 1/K expansion of the Jones polynomial of a knot
and its relation to the Alexander polynomial. This limitation allows us to
derive a surgery formula for the loop corrections to the contribution of the
trivial connection to Witten's invariant. The 2-loop part of this formula
coincides with Walker's surgery formula for Casson-Walker invariant. This
proves a conjecture that Casson-Walker invariant is a 2-loop correction to the
trivial connection contribution to Witten's invariant of a rational homology
sphere. A contribution of the trivial connection to Witten's invariant of a
manifold with nontrivial rational homology is calculated for the case of
Seifert manifolds.Comment: 28 page
On O(1) contributions to the free energy in Bethe Ansatz systems: the exact g-function
We investigate the sub-leading contributions to the free energy of Bethe
Ansatz solvable (continuum) models with different boundary conditions. We show
that the Thermodynamic Bethe Ansatz approach is capable of providing the O(1)
pieces if both the density of states in rapidity space and the quadratic
fluctuations around the saddle point solution to the TBA are properly taken
into account. In relativistic boundary QFT the O(1) contributions are directly
related to the exact g-function. In this paper we provide an all-orders proof
of the previous results of P. Dorey et al. on the g-function in both massive
and massless models. In addition, we derive a new result for the g-function
which applies to massless theories with arbitrary diagonal scattering in the
bulk.Comment: 28 pages, 2 figures, v2: minor corrections, v3: minor corrections and

Spin- generalization of fractional exclusion statistics
We study fractional exclusion statistics for quantum systems with SU(2)
symmetry (arbitrary spin ), by generalizing the thermodynamic equations with
squeezed strings proposed by Ha and Haldane. The bare hole distributions as
well as the statistical interaction defined by an infinite-dimensional matrix
specify the universality class. It is shown that the system is described by the
level- WZW model and has a close relationship to non-abelian fractional
quantum Hall states. As a low-energy effective theory, the sector of {\it
massless} Z parafermions is extracted, whose statistical interaction is
given by a finite-dimensional matrix.Comment: 11pages, REVTE
Realization of Haldane's Exclusion Statistics in a Model of Electron-Phonon Interactions
We discuss an integrable model describing one-dimensional electrons
interacting with two-dimensional anharmonic phonons. In the low temperature
limit it is possible to decouple phonons and consider one-dimensional
excitations separately. They have a trivial two-body scattering matrix and obey
fractional statistics. As far as we know the original model presents the first
example of a model with local bare interactions generating purely statistical
interactions between renormalized particles. As a by-product we obtain
non-trivial thermodynamic equations for the interacting system of
two-dimensional phonons.Comment: 4 page
