Wave Functions and Energy Terms of the SCHR\"Odinger Equation with Two-Center Coulomb Plus Harmonic Oscillator Potential

Schr\"odinger equation for two center Coulomb plus harmonic oscillator potential is solved by the method of ethalon equation at large intercenter separations. Asymptotical expansions for energy term and wave function are obtained in the analytical form.Comment: 4 pages, no figures, LaTeX, submitted to PR

Relativistic dynamical polarizability of hydrogen-like atoms

Using the operator representation of the Dirac Coulomb Green function the analytical method in perturbation theory is employed in obtaining solutions of the Dirac equation for a hydrogen-like atom in a time-dependent electric field. The relativistic dynamical polarizability of hydrogen-like atoms is calculated and analysed.Comment: 15 pages, 3 figures (not included, but hard copies are available upon request

Spectra of Doubly Heavy Quark Baryons

    Get PDF
Baryons containing two heavy quarks are treated in the Born-Oppenheimer approximation. Schr\"odinger equation for two center Coulomb plus harmonic oscillator potential is solved by the method of ethalon equation at large intercenter separations. Asymptotical expansions for energy term and wave function are obtained in the analytical form. Using those formulas, the energy spectra of doubly heavy baryons with various quark compositions are calculated analytically.Comment: 19 pages, latex2e, published at PRC61(2000)04520

    The pd3HΛK+pd\to ^3H_\Lambda K^+ reaction cross section

The one- and two-step mechanisms of the pd3HΛK+pd\to ^3H_\Lambda K^+ reaction in the range of incident proton kinetic energy 1.13-3.0 GeV have been investigated. A remarkable peculiarity of the two-step mechanism which incorporates subprocesses ppdπ+pp\to d\pi ^+ and π+nK+Λ\pi^+n\to K^+\Lambda is the so called velocity matching providing the presence of all intermediate particles nearly to the on-mass-shell. The differential cross section has been calculated using a realistic model for the hypertritium 3HΛ^3H_\Lambda wave function. The maximum value of the cross section is estimated as \sim 1nb/sr. The contribution of the one-step mechanism with the elementary process pNNKΛpN\to NK\Lambda into the cross section has been found to be two - three orders of magnitude smaller in comparison with the two-step mechanism.Comment: 10 pages, Latex, 3 Postscript figure

On integrable system on S2S^2 with the second integral quartic in the momenta

We consider integrable system on the sphere S2S^2 with an additional integral of fourth order in the momenta. At the special values of parameters this system coincides with the Kowalevski-Goryachev-Chaplygin system.Comment: LaTeX, 6 page

Operator method in solving non-linear equations of the Hartree-Fock type

The operator method is used to construct the solutions of the problem of the polaron in the strong coupling limit and of the helium atom on the basis of the Hartree-Fock equation. E0=0.1085128052α2E_0=-0.1085128052\alpha^2 is obtained for the polaron ground-state energy. Energies for 2s- and 3s-states are also calculated. The other excited states are briefly discussed.Comment: 7 page

X-ray sources of nanosecond pulses based on semiconductor opening switch for CT

This study describes the development of prototype CT scanners with 2 different pulsed X-ray sources. X-ray sources used in this work have a semiconductor opening switch. It is used to generate high voltage pulses and provides pulse repetition frequency up to 5 kHz. The work uses two pulsed X-ray sources, which have different peak voltages and pulse energies. Tomographic sections and 3D images for test objects are obtained, the advantages of pulsed X-ray sources compared to continuous sources are discussed. © 2020 American Institute of Physics Inc.. The paper discusses the topical problem how to organize health care to patients with cerebrovascular diseases (nursing, social adaptation, rehabilitation) with the direct participation of their relatives. For this, in 2006 the All-Russian Public Organization TSociety of Relatives of Stroke PatientsU (SRSP) was set up under the aegis of the National Stroke Control Association, which involves schools for the relatives of stroke patients. The major aspects and lines of SRSP activities are described in this paper
