Enhancing the maturation of dendritic cells and TRACKING THEIR SUBSEQUENT IN VIVO MIGRATION USING CELLULAR MAGNETIC RESONANCE IMAGING
Dendritic cell (DC)-based cancer vaccines in clinical trials are promising, but their overall efficacy requires improvement. It is uncertain which DC subset, state of DC maturation/activation, and route of administration allow for optimum DC migration to lymph nodes (LNs) in vivo, thereby improving vaccine efficacy. A non-invasive imaging modality capable of tracking DC-based vaccine migration in patients would provide clinicians valuable information regarding these variables. A superparamagnetic iron oxide (SPIO) magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) contrast agent was used to label bone marrow-derived DCs (BMDCs) for tracking their subsequent migration using cellular MRI in a mouse model. Data indicate SPIO mechanically impedes migration of labelled-BMDCs in vivo compared to control cells. Data also demonstrate MRI is a sensitive modality capable of detecting differences in BMDC migration to LNs. These studies provide important information regarding the application cellular MRI as a means to assess parameters of DC-based immunotherapeutics for improving their efficacy
A Review on Implementation of AES Algorithm Using FPGA & Its Performance Analysis
Now a day’s large number of internet and wireless communication users has led to an increasing demand of security measures and devices for protecting the user data transmitted over the unsecured network so that unauthorized persons cannot access it . As we share the data through wireless network it should provide data confidentiality, integrity and authentication. The symmetric block cipher plays a major role in the bulk data encryption. Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) provides data security. AES has the advantage of being implemented in both hardware and software. Hardware implementation of the AES has lot of advantage such has increased throughput and better security level. Hardware Implementation for 128 bit AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) encryption and Decryption has been made using VHDL. The proposed algorithm for encryption and decryption module will functionally verified using modelsim, will be synthesize using Quartus 2 using Altera FPGA platform and analyze the design for the power, Throughput & area.

Methods of tailoring the deposition of metals using self-assembled monolayers
In some aspects, the present disclosure provides methods of depositing a metal onto a nanomaterial which has been passivized with a self-assembled monolayer at a weakened point in the topography of the nanomaterial. In some embodiments, the weakened point is caused by the curvature of the topography. This method may be used to prepare electronic devices such as memory modules.Board of Regents, University of Texas Syste
Cardiac disease in pregnancy
Cardiac disease is an important cause of maternal morbidity and mortality. It can invariably affect fetus with variable intensity depending upon nature of cardiac disease in mother. Cardiac disease can affect women antenatally, in labor and even in post-partum period. It is a case series of 12 cases who presented to labor room in a particular unit at SSG hospital, Baroda over a period of 1 year starting from 1st May 2022 to 30th April 2023. Mean age at presentation was 24.8. 3 women were having valvular heart disease while 4 were having peri-partum cardiomyopathy (PPCM), 4 were having atrial septal defect (ASD), 1 was having ventricular septal defect (VSD). Associated medical comorbidities and obstetrical factors were evaluated. 2D ECHO findings of all cases were recorded. Risk assessment must be done for the mother and fetus to minimize the effect of cardiac disease in pregnancy. Joint consultation with cardiologist should be done in already known case of cardiac disease
Recent trends of interventions in labor management at a tertiary care hospital
Background: Aim of the study were to identify the changing trends in labor management in terms of rate of cesarean section (C-section), rate of trial of labor after C-section (TOLAC), rate of primary and repeat C-section, rate of episiotomy in primi and multi-gravida and percentage contribution of red cell concentrate (RCC) to total blood transfusion.
Methods: The data was collected retrospectively for every year at SSG hospital, Baroda from 1st January 2014 to 31st December 2022. C-section rate was calculated per annum in percentage, which was again split into primary and repeat C-section rate. Leading indications for primary C-section were identified. Rate of total episiotomy, in primigravida and multigravida, trends of RCC transfusion rates and its contribution to total blood products were estimated. Appropriate statistical tests were applied to check level of significance.
Results: C-section rate contributing to total confinements increased from 30.76% in 2014 to 37.6% in 2022, which was statistically significant. Contribution by primary C-section has decreased but repeat C-section has increased over these years. Common indications for primary C-section included fetal distress, MSL, breech presentation, non-progression of labor etc. Overall rate of episiotomy has increased from 41% in 2104 to 54.4% in 2022, with decrease in primigravida and increase in multigravida over these years but these rates are not significantly changed. Contribution of RCC to total transfusion significantly decreased from 76.1% in 2014 to 66% in 2022.
Conclusions: Rate of total and for repeat C-section are increasing with time, so TOLAC and other strategies to reduce primary C-section should be focused upon. Episiotomy must not be routine and should be given when indicated only. Interventions to reduce requirement of blood transfusion must be strengthened. New oral and parenteral iron preparations should be accepted based on evidences
Data Aggregation Based Proactive Data Reporting Protocol for Wireless Sensor Network
Wireless sensor networks are the grouping of tiny sensor nodes that gathers the information by sensing activeness from the surroundings similar lands, forests, hills, sea. Power saving is a critical issue in wireless sensor networks since sensor nodes are battery-powered. To achieve optimized network performance at collecting a small portion of sensed data in network is in current researches. There are many protocols available for the successful communication. Sink trail and sink trail-s are the two energy efficient proactive data reporting protocols for mobile sink based on data collection with low complexity and reduced control overhead. In wireless sensor networks, using mobile sinks mobility rather than static sink for data collection is the new trend. Recently the researches are giving the concentration on moving patterns of the mobile sink to achieve optimized network performance, collecting a small area of sensed data in the network and also reducing energy consumption is main motto of the recent searches. Sink trail and sink trail-S protocols aim to conserve energy by turning off unnecessary sensors while simultaneously preserving a constant level of routing fidelity. In the proposed system we proposed the system that provides solution over mobility problems in wireless sensor network with energy saving methodology using aggregation technique.

The study of the correlation between international ovarian tumour analysis classification, risk of malignancy index and clinicopathological findings of adnexal masses
Background: Adnexal masses of ovarian origin are of growing concern these days due to high fatality associated with ovarian malignancy because they are diagnosed at advanced stage due to vague symptoms and absence of recommended screening tests. The present study aimed to assess the prediction potential of IOTA classification and RMI to clinicopathological findings of adnexal masses and calculate the sensitivity and specificity of same.
Methods: This was a prospective observational study carried out on 96 non pregnant women presenting with adnexal mass to gynaecology OPD of a tertiary care hospital from 2020 to 2022. They were evaluated preoperatively with complete history, examination, ultrasound, and tumor markers. IOTA score and RMI was calculated for all patients. Following surgery, histopathology results were compared with preoperative evaluation. Statistical Analysis was done.
Results: Mucinous cyst adenoma was the most common benign ovarian tumour, serous cystadenocarcinoma being the most common malignant ovarian tumour. Patients with malignancy were older and mostly postmenopausal. IOTA was found better than RMI with higher sensitivity 98.5% and high PPV 98.5%. Similarly, IOTA had higher specificity 91.7% and higher NPV 91.7% for identifying and prediction of benign patients.
Conclusions: IOTA guidelines to describe sonographic features of adnexal masses have shown a high sensitivity and specificity for prediction of malignancy in adnexal masses and is a more reliable diagnostic tool over RMI tool for differentiation between benign and malignant adnexal masses
