This research is aim to know level of student\u27s mathematical literacy on Quantity content in grade VII SMP Negeri Pontianak and describe competency which is student can reach. The case study with 6 subjects in grade VII SMP Negeri Pontianak who has differences capability. The result of data analysis indicated that 2 students who have upper capability can reach level 5 (have reflection competency), 1 student who has middle capability can reach level 4 (have connection competency), 1 other student who has middle capability can reach level 1 (have reproduction competency), 1 student who has lower capability can reach level 3 (have connection competency), and 1 other student who has lower capability can reach level 1 (have reproduction competency). The result indicated that there are students can reach above level 1 mathematical literacy

Kemampuan Metakognisi Siswa dalam Pemecahan Masalah pada Materi Bangun Datar di Kelas VII SMP

This research aims to describe about students' metacognition of problem solving on plane geometry in 7th grade SMP. The research method is descriptive with case study. The subjects of this research are four students grade VIII C consist of two high students group, two middle students group, two low students group in problem solving. The result of this research shows that the student metacognition of high group in problem solving almost all indicators good in each planning process, monitoring or evaluating. Meanwhile, the ability of metacognition students of middle group in problem solving is not better than high group when planned completion in each planning process, monitoring or evaluating. For ability of metacognition students of low group in problem solving where all indicators not so good in each planning process, monitoring or evaluating

Neuro-Protection and Neuro-Therapy Effects of Acalypha Indica Linn. Water Extract Ex Vivo on Musculus Gastrocnemius Frog

The studies of neuro-protection and neuro-therapy effects of Acalypha indica Linn. water extract ex vivo on Musculus gastrocnemius frog have already done at three Departments in Faculty of Medicine, University of Indonesia. The experimental studies were done on 2 groups of frog for neuro-protection and neuro-therapy effects. Each group of frog was divided into 7 subgroups of application, 4 samples each. There were 5 subgroups of doses: 5; 10; 15; 20; 25 mg and 2 subgroups as control. Pancuronium bromide 0.2%, 4 mg, was used for a positive control as muscle relaxant. Neuro-protection study was done as follow: ringer – extract – pancuronium bromide, and neuro-therapy study was ringer – pancuronium bromide – extract, respectively. The parameters measured in these studies were the electrical activities such as amount and duration (second) of re-polarization; depolarization, resting potential, and the height of spike after electrical stimulation at 5 mV. Neuro-protection effect of extract was determined by the ability of muscle to show the electrical response after incubating with pancuronium bromide for 10 minutes, and after incubating with extract for 10 minutes for neuro-therapy effect. In the dose of 15 mg and 20 mg/mL of A. indica Linn. extract showed better activities than the dose of 25 mg of extract, both as neuro-protection and neuro-therapy effects, but statistically its have not a significant difference. This study should be followed by an in vivo experiment on frog and it would be done in pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic studies on other animal models

In a special room for smokers, Exhoust Fan is installed to clean the air and keep the room air fresh. Most Exhoust Fan works manually, not set automatically so that it has a constant rotational speed, so the function of the exhaust fan as an air purifier is not optimal. This study aims to apply a fuzzy method as well as to control the speed of the Exhoust Fan. Fuzzy logic will process the carbon monoxide gas which is detected by the MQ-3 sensor then the output decision maker is in the form of the Exhoust Fan rotation speed level which is exactly in accordance with the amount of carbon monoxide read by the MQ3 sensor. fuzzysugeno method can regulate the speed of putan fan based on the amount of carbon monoxide read by the MQ-3 sensor

The Effect of Supportive Group Therapy on the Burden and Coping Mechanisms in Caring for Family Members Who Suffer Schizophrenia

Schizophrenia is a psychiatric illness that causes the burden and maladaptive coping mechanism on the family. The burden and maladaptive coping mechanisms have an impact on the quality of family life and the ability of families to care for schizophrenic patients. The purpose of this study was to prove the effect of supportive group therapy on the burden and coping mechanisms in caring for family members who suffer schizophrenia. The design of this research was a pretest-posttest quasi-experimental study with control group design. The number of samples was 14 in the treatment group and 15 in the control group with purposive sampling. Variable of burden was measured with the Zarit Burden Interview (ZBI) and the coping mechanism was assessed by using Brief COPE Inventory (BCI). This supportive therapy was performed in 4 sessions with a total of 6 meetings. The results showed that there were significant differences on burden values and coping mechanisms before and after supportive therapy in the treatment group (p-value= 0.000). In the control group, there was a significant difference on the value of burden before and after health counseling (p-value =0.010), but there was no difference of coping mechanism value before and after health counseling (p-value=0.225). There were significant differences on the burden value (p-value=0.002) and coping mechanisms (p-value= 0.001) between treatment and control group. dr Rehatta Hospital is expected to facilitate the formation of peer support group in the psychiatry clinic so mental health in the family can be achieved

Pengembangan Teknologi Panen Hujan dan Aliran Permukaan: Analisis USAhatani Pemanfaatan Sumberdaya Air

Aplikasi teknologi panen hujan dan aliran permukaan di lahan kering dapat meningkatkan ketersediaan air, memperpanjang masa tanam, dan menekan risiko kehilangan hasil. Untuk menciptakan pengelolaan air berkelanjutan harus didukung peran serta masyarakat/petani dalam pengelolaannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari dampak aplikasi teknologi panen hujan (dam parit) terhadap USAhatani dan melihat persepsi masyarakat terhadap keberadaan dam parit. Penelitian dilakukan di Desa Limampoccoe, Kecamatan Cenranae, Kabupaten Maros, Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan, pada bulan Pebruari sampai Oktober 2012. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui: 1) aplikasi pembangunan teknologi panen hujan dan aliran permukaan melalui dam parit, 2) analisis USAhatani dan penilaianpersepsi masyarakat terhadap keberadaan dam parit. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa teknologi panen hujan dan aliran permukaan dapat meningkatkan intensitas tanam dari pola tanam padi-bera-bera menjadi padi-kacang tanahbera dan padi-semangka-bera, dengan demikian terdapat peningkatan pendapatan USAhatani setelah pembangunan damparit. Petani merasakan manfaat dam parit dan merasa bertanggung jawab dalam menjaga kelangsungan fungsi dam parit

Minimarket idola on a daily basis there are many sales transactions, so that the data stored in the database is very large. The data can be used as much useful information for the owner of a minimarket in policy making. To explore the data that is used a lot of data mining technique. Data mining uses data analysis to discover patterns and relationships in data that may be used to make accurate predictions.In this research, data mining is used to forecast the sales of goods in Minimarket Idoal. Forecasting the future based on measuring the value of the patterns in the data collection. To perform sales forecasting in the future to use the method of time series. Forecasting time series data to predict what will happen based on past historical data.Time series methods for forecasting sales in the calculation Minimarket Idola using exponential smoothing and moving average. Of the count sought the MAD (Mean Absolute Deviation) or forecasting errors. Where MAD is the smallest value of the calculation of exponential smoothing and moving average is the result of forecasting with a small error. Forecasting results will not always be appropriate because the market demand influenced by several factors. But it does not mean that the forecast is made useless

Implementation of performance assessment in STEM-based science learning to improve students’ habits of mind

This study described the implementation of STEM-based science learning and performance assessment to the improvement of students’ thinking skill in Aceh, Indonesia. The purposive sampling technique was employed in this descriptive research. The respondents were 300 students at grade 11th academic year 2019/2020 which representing five public high schools in Aceh, Indonesia. The instruments used to measure the effectiveness of the implementation of STEM-based science learning were the rubric of habits of mind, observation sheets of performance assessments, and questionnaires. The finding presented the implementation of STEM-based science learning was able to habituate and develop students' habits of mind with an average score of 0.71 which included into high category. The average value of the overall STEM-based science learning implementation for the formation of habits of mind is 95.98% which categorized as good. It can be concluded that there is the success of researchers in implementing STEM-based science learning to form students' habits of mind
