Assessment of Financial Potential as a Determinant of Enterprise Development

Financial potential is an important part of enterprise activities. The technique of the enterprise’s financial potential assessment is offered in the paper. It is presented by particular stages, where each stage is related to a certain task. The characteristics of the company’s financial potential, based on the analysis of the related literature, are determined. The implementation of each task is carried out. Thus, the study proposes a mechanism for managing the financial potential of enterprises, which allows to emphasize the elements that can be useful for economic development. It is based on the general strategic principles of the enterprise management. The study results can be used to assess enterprise purposes and develop the formation goals of its financial potential. It can also help to forecast and separate main directions of accumulation, formation, and distribution of financial resources. It should be noted, that analysis and control over the financial potential formation strategy, as well as the use of analysis results for specifying the strategic directions of the enterprise development, are of high importance. Evaluación del Índice de Similaridad de Exportación compuesta sobre el Ejemplo de China

El propósito de este artículo es mejorar el Índice de similitud de exportación para proporcionar resultados más confiables sobre si dos países son competidores potenciales e inmediatos en el comercio mundial y en qué medida. Para lograr esta metodología existente se complementó con el conjunto de destinos geográficos. Esto permite evaluar la superposición de las carteras de exportación de dos o más países y comprender el posible nivel de su competencia en el comercio internacional. Para demostrar la eficiencia de este índice mejorado, se comparó la cartera de exportaciones de China con los 50 mayores exportadores. Los resultados obtenidos demuestran una fuerte superposición del comercio chino con Vietnam, Japón y Filipinas, lo que demuestra la veracidad de la metodología introducida

Current issues of security management during martial law

The authors of the book have come to the conclusion that toensuring the country’s security in the conditions of military aggression, it is necessary to use the mechanisms of protection of territories and population, support of economic entities, international legal levers of influence on the aggressor country. Basic research focuses on assessment the resource potential of enterprises during martial law, the analysis of migration flows in the middle of the country and abroad, the volume of food exports, marketing and logistics system. The research results have been implemented in the different decision-making models during martial law, information and economic security management, formation of personnel potential and assets of enterprises, food, energy and environmental security management, use of budgetary levers and financial instruments. The results of the study can be used in the developing of directions, programs and strategies for the post-war recovery of Ukraine’s economy and the attraction of foreign investments in the regions, decision-making at the level of ministries and agencies that regulate security management processes. The results can also be used by students and young scientists in the educational process and conducting scientific research on the problems of ensuring the country’s security
