Social media has changed our day to day life in so many aspects, and especially with COVID19 forcing people to stay at home, the use of the internet and platforms has increased dramatically. We now use social media for communication, learning, entertainment, and even for work purposes. There has been a significant increase in the number of people on all social media platforms, and this increase in the number of users viewing all sorts of content gave rise to influencers or “leaders of opinion”, i.e. experts in certain fields with many followers viewing their content. Influencers in many cases have the ability to affect the decision-making process of their followers, which caused many organizations to turn to them, giving them partnerships and sponsorships in exchange for influencers marketing their products/services. In this study, a comparison is attempted between the two biggest influencer marketing platforms, Tiktok and Instagram, and an attempt is made to give businesses who are thinking of using influencer marketing a better understanding of this phenomenon. The paper also aims to help businesses that already have an influencer marketing strategy in place realize if their current platform is most suitable to their business. This study uses qualitative research, as the data has been gathered through the multiple interviews with different types of businesses, influencers and social media experts

The study aimed to assess the practice of community pharmacists in Amran City of the profession of community pharmacy during the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19). The study used the descriptive approach, using a questionnaire that was distributed in October 2020, to a sample of (91) community pharmacists working in pharmacies in Amran City. The results of the study showed that the mean of the responses of the sample members about practicing the profession of community pharmacy amounted to (4.1262) with a standard deviation of (0.306) which is high, the mean of the axis of the precautionary measures reached (3.9135) with a standard deviation of (0.306), which is high, and the mean of the axis of providing services for the community reached a value of (4.3390) with a standard deviation of (0.542), which is very high, too. The study also found that there were no statistically significant differences in the precautionary measures due to the qualification variable and years of experience, and it also found that there were no statistically significant differences in the aspect of community service provision attributable to the qualification variable. However, there were statistically significant differences in the aspect of service provision due to the years of experience variable in favor of the more than 10-year category. The study recommended developing plans by regulatory bodies to maintain the continuity of community pharmacy services during the corona epidemic and protect the pharmaceutical workforce while they are serving the society

PurposeTo investigate the effect of different titanium dioxide nanoparticle (TN) concentrations on the color stability and surface properties of additively fabricated (AF) denture base resins after thermal cycling.MethodsTwo types of AF denture base resins, NextDent and ASIGA, were used to fabricate a total of 120 disc-shaped (10 × 2 mm) specimens (n = 10). The specimens of each resin were divided into 2 groups according to the concentration of titanium dioxide nanoparticles (1 wt.%, 2 wt.% TN) in addition to a control group of pure resin for each material. The specimens’ color change, hardness, and surface roughness (Ra) were tested after thermal cycling (5,000 cycles). Collected data was analyzed using ANOVA and post hoc Tukey's test (α = 0.05). The color change was referred to the National Bureau of Standards (NBS).ResultsThe addition of TN resulted in significant color changes in NextDent, with unacceptable changes according to the NBS (8.84 for 1 wt.% TN and 8.28 for 2 wt.% TN). In contrast, ASIGA showed significantly less color change than NextDent, and the changes remained within clinically acceptable limits. For hardness, in comparison to the pure group, TN addition didn't show any significant change in terms of TN concentrations and material type (P > 0.05), and the highest hardness value was recorded with NextDent/2 wt.%TN (16.6 ± 9.0 VHN). TN addition significantly increased Ra in NextDent, which was concentration-dependent (p = 0.001), while AISGA showed no change in Ra with TN addition (p = 0.693).ConclusionNanocomposite denture base resins containing TN increased the color change and surface roughness with no change in hardness. The effect of TN was material-dependent; therefore, resin material selection for nanocomposite preparation should be considered

Over the past decade, Malaysia has enjoyed tremendous growth in its economy. This has brought about a population growth together with a great influx of foreign workforce to the cities. This resulted in an increase in the amount of scheduled waste generated. Furthermore, scheduled waste management has long been a problem for local authorities in Kuala Lumpur. Continued illegal dumping by waste generators is being practiced at large scale due to lack of proper guidance and awareness. This report reviewed and discussed service provided for scheduled waste management by an authority and international scenario of scheduled waste management. An expert system was developed to integrate scheduled waste management in Kuala Lumpur. The knowledge base was acquired through journals, books, magazines, annual report and web sites. An object oriented expert system shell, Microsoft Visual Basic 2005 Express Edition was used as the building tool for the prototype development. The overall development of this project was carried out in several phases which are problem identification, problem statement, literature review, identification of domain experts, prototype development, knowledge acquisition, knowledge representation and prototype development. Scheduled waste expert system is developed based on five types of scheduled waste management which are label requirements, packaging requirements, impact of scheduled wastes, recycling of scheduled wastes and recommendations. Besides, it contains several sub-modules by which the user can obtain a comprehensive background of the domain. The output is to support effective integrated scheduled waste management

This research examines how social media marketing affects brand image, brand trust, and purchase intention in the context of beauty centers in Jordan. The study presents a model that outlines the influence of social media marketing strategies on customer behavior. To support the proposed model, a quantitative method was employed to collect data through online surveys. The sample consisted of 374 respondents selected through non-probability convenience sampling techniques. The data was analyzed using PLS-SEM methodologies by Smart PLS, which is appropriate for exploratory research. The findings indicate that social media marketing has a noteworthy effect on brand image and brand trust. In addition, the study found that brand trust and brand image have a substantial influence on purchase intention. The relationship between brand image and brand trust accounts for 70% of the variance in purchase intention. Furthermore, social media marketing explains 45% of the variance in brand image, while it explains 55% of the variance in brand trust.</jats:p
