The competencies of graduates of STAN (SekolahTinggiAkuntansi Negara, State College of Accountancy) through its Official-Service Education (PendidikanKedinasan) program are expected to meet the qualifications to be employees for the Ministry of Finance as the equivalent to the civil servants as the executors. The cognitive competencies can successfully be achieved through the learning process, while the psychomotor competencies are still limited to be met only by means of computer laboratory. As a place for vocational education activities, STAN will need not only rooms for the classical learning processes, but more importantly it also needs a replica of work environment designed to be similar to the workplace where they will be working after completing education. Program of education in STAN provides ready-to-work graduates equal to educational levels of Diploma I and Diploma III. Therefore, in order to provide ready-to-work graduates, the curriculum should be designed for the fulfillment of knowledge as well as the fulfillment of skills. The fulfillment of skills for the graduates as prospective employees can be set by working at an environment resembling a replica of servicing office in the form of “Mini Office”. This Mini Office is developed in accordance with the educational specialization held in STAN, and in accordance with the latest condition of the users, i.e. the servicing office unit in the Ministry of Finance. Mini Office is also a part of the media learning in shaping reliable workers in implementing the tasks and functions in the field of services to public. The comprehensive and solid competencies can be expected to be obtained faster by means of the Mini Office, before the graduates are to enter the workforce. It is because the students have already gained the experience through the replica of work environment during their learning process, not only when they conducted the field practice (PKL). The Mini Office becomes something obligatory when STAN is characteristically meant to have vocational education, but it can also be something “optional” if such characteristic is not entirely attached to the organization structure of STAN. Therefore, Mini Office is left to be a choice of “obligatory” or “optional” to STAN

A prospective elementary school teacher needs to know the epistemic beliefs in him in order to prepare for reading comprehension learning well.  The purpose of this study is to reveal a map of previous research on epistemic elementary school teachers in preparing for reading comprehension learning, so that further research opportunities can be carried out. In addition, this study also aims to determine the epistemic role of prospective elementary school teachers in preparing to learn reading comprehension skills. This research is a systematic literature review research that has four phases. These four phases are exploration, visualization, identification, and verification. The results showed 1) research on epistemic primary school teacher candidates and reading comprehension is still not carried out in Indonesia, because the research orientation focuses on solving reading comprehension problems; 2) The teacher's epistemic perspective is the basic foundation that can be used to develop effective reading comprehension learning. Theoretically, the implication of this study is that teacher epistemics need to be known from the beginning because mature epistemic primary school teacher candidates will be able to design and use effective learning and text understanding strategies. Teachers' epistemic beliefs need to be known from the beginning even since taking teacher education

Introduction. Breast cancer is the cancer of highest incidence among women in the U.S., making it a significant public health problem. Currently, the U.S. Preventive Services recommends biennial screening mammography for women ages 50-74. This study examined the associations between socioeconomic status and rurality on breast cancer screening behavior. Methods. Data for this study come from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System Survey (BRFSS). Breast cancer screening behavior was dichotomized into those who did not meet screening mammogram recommendations (2 years or more) and those who met screening mammogram recommendations (within the past 2 years). Chi-square tests of independence and a Gamma statistic and Phi statistic were used to analyze the relationship between income and rurality on breast cancer screening behavior, respectively. Logistic regression with adjusted odds ratios was used to examine the impact of combined rurality and income on breast cancer screening behavior. Results. Of the 113,395 women ages 50-74 with no history of cancer, the mean age was 61.9 years (SD = 6.9) and most participants were non-Hispanic White (78.3%). Bivariate analysis revealed a significant association between income level and breast cancer screening behavior (X2 = 2782.3, p2 = 437.6, p\u3c0.001, Gamma = 0.267) and a significant association between rural/urban status and breast cancer screening behavior (X2 = 437.6, p\u3c0.001, Phi = 0.067). Logistic regression results controlled for race demonstrated that in comparison to rural, low-income women, rural middle- and high-income women and urban woman of all incomes had higher odds of meeting breast cancer screening recommendations. High-income urban women had 1.824 times the odds of receiving a mammogram within the past two years (95% CI 1.774-1.877) than low-income rural women. Discussion. The findings of this study support for further research and prevention efforts of aimed at breast cancer in low-income, rural women. Continued efforts that focus on the confluence of these factors could help the nation reduce its overall breast cancer burden
