    Early Warning System for Maintaining the Machine in Cement Industry, is an application which is designed for being applied on management system for maintaining machine in a cement industry. By using this application could be gained an accurate information as early warning that a machine has to be periodically maintained. The information as an out put of the application will be sent 3 days before maintaining process executed. By this system the maintenance operator can be properly warned, so can be reduce posibilities the machine getting damage because of careless factor. Also could be expected that productivity will be increased as well as reduce overhead–cost for maintenance. This early warning system is designed by applying database principles, and by combining the Unified Modeling Language, Zachman Framework concept as well as using Graphical User Interface will be produed an application named by SIsPeD which be divided into 7 scenarios i.e. Login Admin, Login User, Setting User ID and Password, Change Password, Entry Data Resource, Edit Data Resource and View Data EWS. From the design application after coding process will be created early warning for maintaining the machine which operated by client-server concept in the intranet net-work.     Tata letak pabrik adalah tata cara pengaturan fasilitas-fasilitas pabrik secara efektif dan efisien pada area yang telah disediakan, sehingga dapat meminimasi pergerakan. Perpindahan material yang pendek akan meminimasi total momen perpindahan dan akan membuat waktu yang dibutuhkan semakin kecil, hal tersebut dapat memperkecil biaya material handling yang harus dikeluarkan. Perpindahan material yang pendek dilakukan dengan merancang tata letak pabrik yang baik. Untuk memecahkan masalah perancangan tata letak pabrik yang melibatkan banyak departemen, dapat digunakan salah satu metode heuristik, yakni Graph Theoretic Approach, yang dilakukan dengan mengidentifikasi Maximal PAG departemen-departemen pada lantai produksi. Tempat penelitian dilakukan pada PT. A, sebuah industri yang bergerak pada bidang manufaktur yang memproduksi furniture dan merupakan Perusahaan job shop. Beberapa macam produk yang dihasilkan, seperti meja belajar dan meja komputer. Layout lantai produksi PT. A tidak pernah berubah secara signifikan dari awal pendirian. Selama ini hanya dilakukan peletakan mesin baru pada area yang kosong. Pada lantai produksi PT.A akan dilakukan perancangan tata letak yang dapat meminimasi total momen perpindahan yang terjadi dengan menggunakan Graph Theoretic Approach. Layout usulan didapatkan dengan membuat Maximal PAG dari beberapa iterasi, kemudian dianalisis lebih lanjut untuk mencari solusi dari permasalahan ini. Dari hasil penelitian, diperoleh pengurangan total momen perpindahan sejumlah 1.155.006,2603 kg.m dengan persentase minimasi 47,9323 % dari layout awal

    Studi Koleksi Referensi Reservoir Penyakit di Daerah Enzootik Pes di Jawa Barat dan Jawa Timur

    ENGLISHReservoir Reference Study Collection Disease, particularly rats have been conducted in several areas such as the enzootic plague area in the district of Nongkojajar, Pasuruan, East Java and Ciwidey district, Bandung regency, West Java. These were organized in May-October 2007. The method used for the collection and reference reservoir of disease is rodentia survey methods. Result of the reference collection reservoir of disease is the house rat Rattus tanezumi Nongkojajar found either in the of Pasuruan, East Java (3 rats) and the District of Ciwidey (4 rats). Polynesian rat R. exulans, three rats were only found in the District Nongkojajar, whereas three rats R. tiomanicus, three rats were found in Ciwidey. In addition another types of mice were also found 1 Insectivora mice Suncus murinus in the District Ciwidey. Type of rats captured in habitat homes in the District Ciwidey Bandung regency, West Java and Pasuruan, East Java is the same type, namely house rat Rattus tanezumi. Types of mice caught in the habitat garden in the District Ciwidey Bandung regency, West Java (tiomanicus R. tree rats) were different from mice found in Pasuruan, East Java (Polynesian rat R. exulans). Local environment in plague enzootic area in Pasuruan, East Java is mountainous and forest conservation area Bromo-Tengger, while District Ciwidey, Bandung is the highland tourism areas / mountainous and agricultural areas.INDONESIAKoleksi referensi reservoir penyakit khususnya tikus telah dilakukan di beberapa daerah enzootik pes seperti di Kecamatan Nongkojajar, Kabupaten Pasuruan, Jawa Timur dan Kecamatan Ciwidey, Kabupaten Bandung, Jawa Barat. Kegiatan tersebut dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei-Oktober 2007. Metode yang digunakan untuk koleksi dan referensi reservoir penyakit adalah metode survei rodensia. Hasil koleksi referensi reservoir penyakit adalah tikus rumah Rattus tanezumi ditemukan baik di Kecamatan Nongkojajar, Kabupaten Pasuruan, Jawa Timur (3 ekor) maupun Kecamatan Ciwidey (4 ekor). Tikus polinesia R. exulans, 3 ekor hanya ditemukan di Kecamatan Nongkojajar, sedangkan tikus pohon R. tiomanicus, 3 ekor ditemukan di Kecamatan Ciwidey. Selain jenis tikus tersebut ditemukan pula seekor insektivora celurut rumah Suncus murinus, 1 ekor di Kecamatan Ciwidey. Jenis tikus yang tertangkap di habitat rumah di Kecamatan Ciwidey Kabupaten Bandung, Jawa Barat dan Kabupaten Pasuruan, Jawa Timur adalah sama jenisnya, yaitu tikus rumah Rattus tanezumi. Jenis tikus yang tertangkap di habitat kebun di Kecamatan Ciwidey Kabupaten Bandung, Jawa Barat (tikus pohon R. tiomanicus) berbeda dengan jenis tikus di Kabupaten Pasuruan, Jawa Timur (tikus polinesia R. exulans). Lingkungan daerah enzootik pes di Kabupaten Pasuruan, Jawa Timur merupakan daerah pegunungan dan kawasan hutan lindung Bromo-Tengger, Kecamatan Ciwidey, Kabupaten Bandung merupakan daerah wisata dataran tinggi/pegunungan dan daerah pertanian/perkebuna

    ANALISIS TEKNOLOGI PENANGKAPAN IKAN PILIHAN DI PANTAI SELATAN PROVINSI JAWA BARAT (The Proper Fishing Technology Analysis At Southern Coast of West Jawa Province)

    As mandated in Fisheries Act No. 31/2004 about Fisheries, it is stated thatfisheries resources management aimed to improve community welfare especially fishermen and to conserve the fisheries resources and its environment. To keep the capture fisheries bussiness system sustainably efficient and profitable. Beside marketing guarantee, optimalization between fisheries resources stock and fishing effort in each of fishing area. The improvement of capture fisheries must be held based on the existing condition, ie: marketing in determining the priority comodity, maximum sustainable yield and fisheries resources utilization level to determine limit of fisheries resources utilization chance, fishing technology and socio-economic condition to identify the fishermen's earns and absorbtion of labours related to capture fisheries sector. Based on the marketing aspect analysiS, it is determined that the kinds of priority comodity in Southern of West Java Province are lobster, shrimp, tuna, skip jack tuna, and layar. Hence, the potency (MSy) and fisheries resources utilization level of the priority comodity still has very large chance to improve, except lobster has large enough chance.Based on the scoring approach, combined from many technical aspects, financial aspects and social aspect can be concluded that the proper fishing technology in southern waters of West J/lVa Province are: (1) Purse seine, (2) Denish saine, (3) Lines, (4) Gillnet, (5) Trammel net, (6) Boat lift net. To improve the management and utilization of  fisheries resources in southe-rn waters of West Java Province or in Hindia Ocean, it is recommended to implement the improvement of proper fishing technology based an technical aspects, financial aspects, environmental and social aspects.Keywords: the proper fishing technology, Southern waters of West Java Province, fisheries resource
