Collecting data using observations, interviews, and documentation, while the analysis of the data consists of data reduction, data presentation, and attractive transition policy menunjukkan implementasi research kesimpulan. Hasil property rights over land for public purposes in the general government administration Regional Secretariat of North Mamuju regency not maximized because resources and bureaucratic structures not running optimally due to the ability of human resources is still quite adequate and understanding of the field of the task is still lacking, and the implementation of the policy has not been according to SOP. But in terms of communication and disposition has been executed with the maximum, which means it has carried out the coordination and dissemination of clear and consistent as well as the executor attitude that shows awareness in doing a good job and the attitude demonstrated towards acceptance of the policy is executed

    Satu senyawa triterpenoid telah diisolasi dari ekstrak kulit batang tumbuhan Garcinia bancana Miq. Senyawa ini dipisahkan menggunakan berbagai teknik kromatografi dan pemurnian dengan rekristalisasi. Struktur molekul senyawa tersebut ditetapkan berdasarkan analisis data spektroskopi UV, IR, dan NMR 1-D dan dengan membandingkan data spektroskopi tersebut dengan yang dilaporkan dalam literatur. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data-data spektroskopi tersebut maka disimpulkan senyawa isolasi adalah β-amirin. Penemuan senyawa ini telah memberikan informasi penting untuk studi kandungan kimia dan aktivitas biologis dari genus Garcinia berdasarkan pendekatan taksonomi

    Skrining bakteri kitinolitik dari rizosfir tanaman karet dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk memperoleh isolat bakteri kitinolitik yang antagonis terhadap pertumbuhan jamur akar putih (Rigidoporus lignosus). Bakteri diisolasi dari Perkebunan Karet Sembawa Kab. Banyuasin, dan skrining dilakukan dengan menggunakan media agar kitin dan uji antagonis terhadap jamur patogen dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Chernin et al., (1995). Hasil penelitian didapatkan dua isolat bakteri kitinolitik yang antagonis terhadap pertumbuhan jamur akar putih (Rigidoporus lignosus). Identifikasi kedua isolat antagonis jamur akar putih ini tergolong kedalam genus Bacillus yaitu Bacillus sp. dan Bacillus apiariu

    An Antihyperuricemia Effect of Ethanol Extract of Tunjuk Langit Rhizome (Helmynthostachys Zaylanica Linn Hook) on Swiss Male Mice

    Tunjuk langit (Helminthostachys zeylanica) rhizome has been used as traditional medicines. i.e. anticancer and antiinflammation. Other studies revealed that the rhizome of tunjuk langit has antioxidant, anticancer, neuroprotective and anti-inflammatory effects. The main purpose of this research is to understand the hipouricemia potency of ethanol extract of tunjuk langit compared to that of alopurinol. In this study, 50 mice were divided into 10 groups (n=5 per group). Group I: normal group (CMC-Na 0.5% with dose of 10 mL/kg BB), Group II : negative control, Group III-VI : positive control (alopurinol with doses of 5, 10, 20 and 40 mg/kg BB) and VII-X : Ethanol extract with doses of 20, 40, 80, and 160 mg/kg BB. These groups were treated for 30 days. The uric acid level of their blood was measured on the day-0 and these groups were then inducted with a mixture of chicken liver juice (25 ml/kg BW 2 times/days) and Gnetum gnemon seeds (2g/kg BW per day) from day-0 until day-30. The blood uric acid levels were measured on the 10th and 15th days. Extract tests were orally injected to the groups with each dose starting from the 15th day until 30th day. Meanwhile, chicken liver juice was also still given constantly within these days. The uric acid level and the percentage of its degradation of each group were measured on the 20th, 25th and 30th days. Based on the in vivo study, it could be concluded that the ethanol extract of Tunjuk langit has hipouricemia potency. The hipouricemia effects of ethanol extract with doses of 80 and 160 mg/kg BW are 91.95% and 91.77% compared to those of allopurinol with doses of 20 and 40 mg/kgBW, respectively. Based on relation between percentage of the degradation uric acid level and the extract concentration, ED50 value of the extract is 135.76 mg/kg BW

    Growth Optimization of Thermophilic Bacteria Bacillus thermoamylovorans and Brevibacillus sp. in Producing Keratinolytic Enzyme

    Some thermophilic bacteria have been isolated from Tanjung Sakti hot spring. Two isolates which qualitatively showed keratinolytic activity, identified as Bacillus thermoamylovorans and Brevibacillus sp., were optimized the growth in producing keratinase enzyme. Keratinase is a group of proteolytic enzyme which able to hydrolyze insoluble protein (keratin). In this research, whole chicken feathers were used as keratin substrate. The growth curves and measurement of keratinase enzyme activities were determined to the isolates, with a span of measuring 4 hours during 48 hours incubation, and gained the growth and optimum enzyme activity at 28 h incubation. The isolates were then observed the growth and keratinase activity at several different temperatures and pH. The results showed that the optimum temperature and pH for both isolates were same, i.e. at temperature 70° C and pH 7. The effect of adding a source of carbon and nitrogen into the medium were also observed. The growths of both isolates were increased on the addition of 1% glucose and 0.4% casein

    Senyawa Fenolat dari Fraksi Etil Asetat Buah Tumbuhan Mempelas (Tetracera Indica Merr.)

    Telah dilakukan isolasi senyawa fenolat dari fraksi etil asetat buah tumbuhan mempelas (Tetraceraindica Merr.). Ekstraksi dilakukan dengan metode maserasi menggunakan pelarut metanol dan pemisahansenyawa menggunakan teknik kromatografi. Hasil isolasi diperoleh kristal berbentuk jarum berwarna kuning seberat 4,01 mg dengan titik leleh 297-298◦C. Munculnya puncak serapan spektrum UV pada 277 nmmengindikasikan bahwa pada senyawa hasil isolasi memiliki ikatan rangkap terkonjugasi yang lazimnya merupakan cincin aromatis. Spektrum IR memberikan puncak absorbsi pada bilangan gelombang 3424, 3103-3010,2947, 1715, 1438 -1608, 1386-1354, 1182 cm−1yang masing-masing menunjukkan adanya gugus O-H bebas,C-H aromatik, regang C-H alifatik, C=O keton, C=C aromatik, lentur C-H alifatik, C-O-C.     Antibacterial And Antioxidant Activity Testing Of Pyranon Derivated Compound From Endophytic Fungi Penicillium SP Of Kunyit Putih (Curcuma Zedoaria (Berg) Roscoe)

    Exploration of bioactive compound were continuously done as more new diseases appearing, from infection, cancer, and other degenerative diseases. The invention of new antibiotic compound and antioxidant compound is very needed to solve this problem. Endophytic microbes are microbes which lives in plant's culture and produce the active secondary metabolite. In previous research, 2 compounds from endofitic microbes Penicillium sp in kunyit putih had been successfully isolated and identified as di-(2-ethylhexyl)phthalate and pyranon derivated as 5 (4'-ethoxy-2'-hydroxy-5'-methyl-2',3'-dihydrofuran-3'-il (hydroxy) methyl-4-isopropyl-3-methyl-2-pyran-2-on). The goal of this research is to test antibacterial and antioxidant activitiy from derivate pyranon, which is resulting from endofitic microbes Penicillium sp in kunyit putih (Curcuma zeodaria). The method used to test the antibacterial activity is dic diffusion, using E. Coli, S. Dysenteriae, S. Aureus, and B. Subtilis. with variation of concentrations 250, 500, 1000, dan 2000μg/mL, and to test the antioxidant activity used 1,1-diphenyl-2- picrylhydrazyl ( DPPH) method with variation of concentrations 1000, 500, 250, 125, 62.5, 31.25, 15.625, and 7.8125 µg/mL. The research shown that the antibacterial activity is strongest at S. aureus with 11mm-blocked-zone at 250µg/mL concentration. Pyranon derivate also has active antioxidant manner with IC5016.05µg/mL

    Aktivitas Antioksidan Senyawa Fenol dari Manggis Hutan (Garcinia Bancana Miq.)

    Telah dilakukan uji aktivitas antioksidan dari tiga senyawa fenol 1,5-dihidroksi-3,6-dimetoksi-2,7-di-(3-metilbut-2-enil)santon (1), (-)-epikatekin (2), dan isosantosimol (3) dari kulit batang manggis hutan (G. bancana). Uji aktivitas dilakukan dengan metode santin oksidase (XO) berdasarkan jumlah asam urat yang terbentuk. Hasil pengukuran meunjukkan nilai IC50 untuk ketiga senyawa berturut-turut 9,7; > 200; dan 8,6 μg/mL. Berdasarkan nilai IC50 ini disimpulkan bahwa isosantosimol (3) dan (-)-epikatekin (2) bersifat aktif antioksidan sedangkan 1,5-dihidroksi-3,6- dimetoksi-2,7-di-(3-metilbut-2-enil)santon bersifat tidak aktif
