    The many problems of education in Indonesia, need fast and right efforts from the government, especially policyholders in the education sector. The dynamic world of education requires the presence of effective and efficient education policies. One of the problems of education in Indonesia is the implementation of education in “ 3 T “ Areas (Frontier, Remote, And Underdeveloped ), where there is a shortage of teachers. To solve that problem, the ministry of education and culture create “ Maju Bersama Mencerdaskan Indonesia Program “ (MBMI) where one of the program contents is empowerment the bachelor’s degree to teach in 3 T areas. Certainly, this is a short-term solution, because they become teachers only one year in that area.  Not only that, but the government also empowers the army as the teacher in 3 T areas. Empowerment of the army as the teacher leaves a problem about the function of the army in army and police laws. Furthermore, the professionalism of the army as the teacher is doubtful. How much effectiveness and efficiency this policy will try to analyze with SWOT analysis

    Exploring, studying and practicing the values contained in the Qur'an is a must for every Muslim.  Al-Qur'an is an ocean of knowledge that will never run out to continue to be studied and the values contained therein to be practiced in everyday life. In this study the researcher focused on the educational values contained in the verses starting with “ياأيهاالنّاس”, which if we discuss and study, we will find so many educational values contained in these verses including the values of faith, morals and good manners, as well as social values that are very important to be learned and practiced by Muslims to become pious individually and socially. The purpose of this study is to discuss more deeply the educational values contained in the verses starting with “ياأيهاالنّاس”. The research approach used is to collect verses that begin with the “ياأيهاالنّاس”, then draw conclusions about the educational values contained therein through literacy studies or literature by referring to classical and contemporary Tafsir books and books education

    CODE SWITCHING IN THE SPEECH OF THE NORTH KALIMANTAN BORDER COMMUNITY—MALAYSIA

    The purpose of the study is to describe the forms of code-switching in the speech of border community groups in Nunukan and Malinau who use two or more languages in their daily communication and to find the factors that determine code-switching in the speech of border community groups. This research method is sociolinguistic field research employing a qualitative descriptive design. The data sources are the border community organizations of Nunukan and Malinau. The study consists of primary data in spontaneous speech from various contexts of speech events by border community groups of Nunukan and Malinau and secondary data in information, sociocultural background, and language gleaned from observations and interviews. The results of this study show that (1) the forms of code-switching in the speech of border communities of Nunukan and Malinau consist of code-switching from Bugis to Indonesian and vice versa, from Tidung to Indonesian and vice versa, from Banjarese to Indonesian and vice versa, and from Indonesian to Malay-Malay and vice versa. (2) The factors that cause code-switching in the speech of border community groups (Nunukan and Malinau) are speakers, speech partners, attendance and departure of speech participants, and variations in the topic of conversation

Administrasi akan mandul tanpa adanya kebijakan birokrasi yang profesional, ketimpangan inilah yang mengakibatkan kesenjangan birokrasi pendidikan yang selalu menuai tanda tanya dimata publik. Artikel ini merupakan potret dalam mengemukakan beberapa konsep gagasan perihal masalah mengenai praktik kerja sistem administrasi dan kebijakan birokrasi pendidikan. Penulisan ini bertujuan untuk menanamkan kesadaran terhadap rancunya progres dunia pendidikan saat ini, baik dari sistem administrasi yang memiliki kompleksitas yang tinggi maupun perihal seluk beluk kebijakan birokrasi pendidikan di Indonesia. Selain menganalisa kesenjangan birokrasi pendidikan di Indonesia, penulis juga akan menawarkan sumbangsih dalam pengambilan langkah preventif guna mengatasi permasalah terhadap rancunya kebijakan birokrasi di Indonesia. Cara yang beracuan untuk memupuk etos yang lebih baik dalam menggenggam pendidikan melalui struktur administrasi dan birokrasi pendidikan yang sehat serta kondusif.     Implementasi kebijakan Program Indonesia Pintar di Madrasah melibatkan banyak elemen yang belum tentu semuanya berpartisipatif dengan baik. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini berusaha membantu pemerintah untuk mengevaluasi program Indonesia Pintar di Madrasah dengan model evaluasi CIPP yaitu evaluasi konteks , input, proses, dan produk yang dipopulerkan oleh Stufflebeam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan kontribusi yang bermanfaat bagi dunia akademik mengenai pemahaman tentang salah satu program pemerintah di bidang pendidikan yaitu Program Indonesia Pintar di Madrasah serta memberikan gambaran implementasi Program Indonesia Pintar di Madrasah Kota Balikpapan untuk menjadi evaluasi bagi pihak terkait. Selain itu penelitian ini bermaksud memberikan umpan balik bagi stakeholders tentang dampak implementasi program Indonesia Pintar serta sebagai dasar perencanaan program selanjutnya. Beberapa temuan di lapangan menunjukkan terjadinya ketidak tepatan sasaran penerima bantuan, serta penggunaan dana bantuan yang tidak tepat. Selain itu dana Program bantuan juga perlu ditingkatkan untuk memenuhi kuota siswa miskin, begitu juga dengan kurangnya sosialisasi tentang Program Indonesia Pintar di Madrasah

    Visual analytics with decision tree on network traffic flow for botnet detection

    Visual analytics (VA) is an integral approach combining visualization, human factors, and data analysis. VA can synthesize information and derive insight from massive, dynamic, ambiguous and often conflicting data. Thus, help discover the expected and unexpected information. Moreover, the visualization could support the assessment in a timely period on which pre-emptive action can be taken. This paper discusses the implementation of visual analytics with decision tree model on network traffic flow for botnet detection. The discussion covers scenarios based on workstation, network traffic ranges and times. The experiment consists of data modeling, analytics and visualization using Microsoft PowerBI platform. Five different VA with different scenario for botnet detection is examined and analysis. From the studies, it may provide visual analytics as flexible approach for botnet detection on network traffic flow by being able to add more information related to botnet, increase path for data exploration and increase the effectiveness of analytics tool. Moreover, learning the pattern of communication and identified which is a normal behavior and abnormal behavior will be vital for security visual analyst as a future reference
