    THE INFLUENCE OF FINANCIAL LITERACY AND LIFESTYLE ON DEBT MANAGEMENT BEHAVIOR IN YOUNG MARRIED FAMILIES

    Debt behavior often occurs when someone is in an urgent situation to meet their needs. This study aims to analyze the influence of family characteristics, financial literacy, and hedonic lifestyle on debt management behavior in young married families. The sample in this study are middle-aged women who married at the age of 19 and under and live in Jabodetabek. The sampling technique used purposive sampling method as many as 52 people who had or currently had debt. Data were processed using descriptive statistical tests and multiple linear regression tests. The level of financial literacy (knowledge, attitude, and behavior dimensions) of respondents is categorized as medium. Respondents in this study did not have a tendency to live a hedonic lifestyle. Likewise, debt management behavior is in the low category. There is a negative relationship between respondents' age and debt management behavior. The results of multiple linear regression analysis show that financial literacy (attitude dimension) has a significant effect on debt management behavior. This means that the better the respondent's attitude towards finance, the better the behavior in managing debt. Meanwhile, there is no significant influence between hedonic lifestyle and debt management behavior. Financial literacy needs to be well owned in order to create good debt management behavior. &nbsp

    Child Involvement in Family Financial Management and Subjective Well-Being of Children from the Intact and Non-Intact Families

    The purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of child involvement in family financial management and material well-being on children’s subjective well-being among children from intact families and non-intact families. Fifty students from intact families and fifty students from the non-intact family have participated in this research. The students were selected using stratified random sampling techniques from junior high schools in Bogor Regency. Data were collected using a self-administered questionnaire and were followed with in-depth interviews with some students. The result of this research showed that child involvement, material well-being, and subjective well-being were categorized as medium. The result of the independent sample T-test showed that there were no significant differences between students from intact families and students from non-intact families in terms of their involvement in family financial management, material well-being, and subjective well-being. The result of the multiple linear regression test showed that child involvement in family financial management significantly positively affected their subjective well-being. Thus, the higher the children involved in family financial management, the better their subjective well-being

    KNOWLEDGE, ATTITUDE, AND BEHAVIOR TO PREVENT COVID-19 INFECTION IN GENERATION Y IN PONOROGO REGENCY, EAST JAVA

    Generation Y has the highest rate of Covid-19 contaminated cases. This is due to frequent movements and activities outside the home. This study was intended to investigate the impact of individual characteristics, knowledge, and attitudes on behaviour to prevent infection with Covid-19 in Ponorogo. The sample in this study amounted to 100 people with an age range of 20-35 years, consisting of 16 people and 84 women. The sampling technique used is voluntary sampling. The questionnaire was made in a form, and the link was distributed online. Data analysis used descriptive tests and SEM-PLS. The results of the SEM-PLS show that there is a significant effect of gender on knowledge and behaviour in preventing infection with Covid-19, as well as attitudes towards behaviour in preventing infection with Covid-19. The results show no significant differences in knowledge, attitudes, and behaviours to prevent infection with Covid-19 in urban and rural individuals. Individual women have better knowledge and behaviour to prevent infection with Covid-19 than men, and good behaviour will increase behaviour to prevent infection with Covid-19. Socialization and behaviour to prevent infection with Covid-19 must be increased, especially for men

    Family Capitals, Livelihood Strategies, and Family Well-Being of Plantation Worker

    This study aimed to analyze the influence of family characteristic, family capitals, and livelihood strategy toward family well-being. The sample of this study was family with wife who worked as a tea picker in Purwabakti, Pamijahan, Bogor. There were 100 families chosen randomly in this research. Family well-being was observed based on indicators defined by National Population and Family Planning Board (NPFPB) and Statistics Indonesia (SI). The analyses used in this research were descriptive analyses, independent sample T-test, and logistic regression. The result showed husband age and family size negatively affected the family well-being. Physical capital and financial capitals positively affected the family well-being. Meanwhile, livelihood strategy did not significantly affect the family well-being.Keywords: family capitals, family well-being, livelihood strategies Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh karakteristik keluarga, kepemilikan modal keluarga, dan strategi nafkah terhadap kesejahteraan keluarga. Contoh dalam penelitian ini adalah keluarga dengan istri yang bekerja sebagai buruh pemetik teh di Desa Purwabakti, Kecamatan Pamijahan, Kabupaten Bogor. Contoh dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 100 orang yang dipilih secara acak. Kesejahteraan keluarga diukur dengan menggunakan indikator BKKBN dan BPS. Analisis yang digunakan merupakan analisis deskriptif, uji beda independent sample T-test dan uji regresi logistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan umur suami dan besar keluarga berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap kesejahteraan keluarga. Modal fisik dan modal finansial berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kesejahteraan keluarga. Sementara itu, strategi nafkah tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kesejahteraan keluarga

    CONSUMER COMPLAINT BEHAVIOUR IN INDONESIA: ROLE OF KNOWLEDGE AND SELF-CONFIDENCE

    Complaint behavior is a person's response to dissatisfaction with the goods or services used. Complaints are feedback from customers that tend to be negative towards the company. Self-confidence can be interpreted as one aspect of personality in the form of belief in one’s abilities so that others do not influence him, can act according to his will, are happy, optimistic, relatively tolerant, and responsible. This study generally aims to analyze the effect of knowledge and self-confidence on complaints in Indonesia. The study used a cross-sectional study design. The samples were married or employee consumers aged between 17 to 60 years determined by multi-stage random sampling. The number of samples in this study was 2.100 respondents. This study used descriptive analysis, independent t-test, and SEM using Linear Structural Relationship (LISREL) 8.72. The findings of this study indicate that the knowledge and respondents' complaint behavior are relatively low, whereas self-confidence was in the moderate category. Knowledge had a significant effect on complaint behavior but insignificant on self-confidence. Other results also indicate that self-confidence had no significant effect on complaint behavior

    The large number of residential properties makes market competition increase. Many factors can influence consumer behavior before deciding to buy a product. The level of knowledge, perceptions, and attitudes can be factors that can influence consumer intentions to buy housing with the urban farming concept. This study aims to analyze the effect of knowledge, perceptions and attitudes on the intention to buy a house with the concept of urban farming. The scope of discussion in this study is limited to the influence of demographic characteristics, knowledge, perceptions, and attitude variables regarding the models and benefits of urban farming and the interest in buying residential real estate in the city of Makassar. The data analysis method used is a quantitative method. The collected data is processed using SPSS (Statistical Program for Social Science) and SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) analysis tools with the PLS (Partial Least Squares) approach. The results obtained were 202 respondents and showed that the knowledge variable did not have a significant effect on consumer interest in buying a house with the urban farming concept. However, if it is mediated by attitude and perception variables, the result is that knowledge variables indirectly affect consumer interest. Perception and attitude variables have a significant direct effect on consumer buying interest. The results of the study also show that high prices will affect consumer buying interest. The managerial implication of this research is that developers can use the results of this research to develop their marketing strategies to attract consumers to buy houses.     Kesejahteraan keluarga merupakan salah satu kunci tercapainya praktik pengasuhan yang berkualitas. Keluarga yang sejahtera akan memiliki pola pikir yang sehat serta akses yang lebih leluasa tehadap sumber daya dalam memenuhi kebutuhan anak selama proses pengasuhan. Keluarga yang tinggal di wilayah pesisir memiliki sejumlah potensi sumberdaya untuk mencapai kesejahteraan. Akan tetapi kondisi menunjukan bahwa keluarga yang tinggal di wilayah pesisir cenderung berpendidikan rendah, kualitas hidup rendah, dan tingkat kesejahteraan keluarga dan relasi orangtua anak yang kurang memadai. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan sejumlah upaya untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan keluarga di wilayah pesisir agar anak-anak dari keluarga tersebut dapat memperoleh pengasuhan yang baik sehingga tumbuh dan berkembang secara optimal.  Beberapa program yang telah dikembangkan dapat dilanjutkan, terutama program maupun kebijakan berbasis keluarga.     MOTIVASI BERWIRAUSAHA, MANAJEMEN WAKTU, MANAJEMEN KEUANGAN, DAN PRESTASI AKADEMIK PADA MAHASISWA WIRAUSAHA

    This study aimed to analyze the influence of sample characteristics, family characteristics, business characteristics, entrepreneurial motivation, time management, and financial management toward business growth and academic achievement of college entrepreneurs. The study involved 50 college students (32 male and 18 female) who have been in business (agriculture or non-agricultural) for at least three months. Samples chosen by snowball technique with the first key informant is the head of the entrepreneurial community. Data were collected through interviews and analyzed using independent sample t-test, factor analysis, and multiple linear regression. Research showed that category of entrepreneurial motivation was high. The most motivating factor for college entrepreneurs was a greater business achievement. Category of financial and time management of college entrepreneurs were in the medium. The largest percentage of business growth was between 0,0 to 20,0 percent per month. Female entrepreneurs have better academic achievement than male entrepreneurs. The study found that the business growth is significantly positively influenced by the education and occupation of the father. The academic achievement of college entrepreneurs is negatively influenced by the participation of the Entrepreneurship Student Creativity Program and business growth, but it is positively influenced significantly by college entrance pathways and financial management

    FAKTOR PENENTU KEPUASAN DAN MINAT KUNJUNG ULANG EKOWISATA

    Satisfaction becomes an essential factor in knowing how high the tourist interest to make a revisit. The determinants of satisfaction include physical evidence, emotional factors, service quality, and tourist destination components (4A). This research aimed to (1) analyze the impact of physical evidence, emotional factors, service quality, and tourist destination components (4A) on consumer satisfaction and intention to revisit ecotourism and (2) formulate managerial implication obtained for the company to increase tourist visit. The population in this research was Terminal Wisata Grafika Cikole (TWGC) visitors. The sampling method used was convenience sampling with respondent criteria of at least 17 years old and visited TWGC at least once. There were 210 respondents in this research. The data were collected by asking the questionnaire questions through direct interviews with the TWGC visitor, then conducted in-depth interviews with 50 respondents to follow up with the research finding. Based on the research, physical evidence, emotional factors, and service quality positively impacted consumer satisfaction. Meanwhile, tourist destination components (4A) had no significant effect on customer satisfaction. Furthermore, consumer satisfaction had a positive impact on the intention to revisit. In conclusion, the higher consumer satisfaction, the higher the revisit interest.
