    Anti-convulsant drugs elicited hypersensitivity syndrome could be a rare side effect of the primary line anticonvulsive medication like carbamazepine and alternative aromatic agents. We here mention a rare case of gastrointestinal and skin findings associated with carbamazepine administration that is incredibly uncommon and desires to be reportable.We report a study done on a 22-year woman with carbamazepine associated hypersensitivity syndrome, who developed diarrhea, fever and skin lesions. On withdrawal of carbamazepine and administration of methylprednisolone in the patient, all initial skin related symptoms, GIT symptoms were relieved and white blood corpuscle count normalized. Anticonvulsive drug hypersensitivity syndromes can present with a wide spectrum of unspecific symptoms, which the prescribing clinician should be aware of

    Depression is a worldwide wellbeing concern in view of healthcare. Now a days, social media became popular to allow the affected people to share their experience in the form of posts. These kinds of experiences are stored in the database and extracted and analyzed to give the precautions to the other people or to recall the drugs from the side effects, and other service improvements in their treatment regarding to a particular disease. In such cases depression-related social websites are helpful to monitor or get knowledge in various kinds of drugs, side effects and to share the user experiences. In this paper, we proposed a social media website to allow the users to share the experiences of a particular disease i.e. depression and their experience over on it. We used a weighted network model to represent the activities in the social networks. The proposed work has three steps. The first one is to monitor the user activity and followed by network clustering and the module analysis. The persons who likes a particular post comes under a group and those who contrasted belongs to other group. The stop word technique we have implemented in this work is helpful to avoid the misleading communication over the posts and for the efficient user interaction. The statistical analysis of this kind of user interactions are helpful in health networks to gain much knowledge about a specific disease. This approach will enable all the gatherings to take a part and for the future healthcare improvements to the patients suffering from a disease

    In this work, research is performed on the use of commercial sulphur available on the traditional market to improve traditional markets, and thus a modified binder is analyzed, which is presented in the form of rheological properties. A conventional 30 bitumen VG was used to replace the sulphur with different fractions (bitumen weight). The increased volume of traffic and the effect of temperature changes on binder performance usually result in stresses and permanent floor spacing’s to repair these barriers, thus adding to normal bitumen. The incorporation of better technical properties helps the potatoes to run and prolongs the life of the bitumen pit. Sulphur is one of the main additives used in construction, where sulphur is used as a modifier in various forms, as a conditioner and as a cutting agent.     Objective: The objective of this study is to design and fabricate Chlorpheniramine Maleate chocolate formulation by chocolate drug delivery system. Chlorpheniramine Maleate binds to histamine H1 receptor. This blocks the action of endogenous histamine, which subsequently leads to temporary relief of negative symptoms brought on by histamine.Methods: Chocolate is a range of products derived from cocoa (cacao), mixed with fat (i.e., cocoa butter) and finely powdered sugar to produce a solid confectionery. The medicated chocolate formulation is widely used for pediatric administration and increases patient compliance. Chlorpheniramine Maleate chocolate formulation is prepared to improve patient compliance. Chocolates were formulated (F1-F3) with a total fat of 25-35 % (w/w) from cocoa liquor and cocoa butter with more than 34% total cocoa, composition as specified for dark chocolate, lecithin, sweetening agents.Results: The prepared chocolate formulations were evaluated for general appearance, drug content, In vitro drug release and DSC and FTIR, moisture content and blooming tests. F1 formulation releases complete drug within 60 min.Conclusion: The results indicate that the formulation has no drug excipient interactions and there was no degradation in drug, it is stable during chocolate formulation preparation.Â

    DEVELOPMENT AND VALIDATION OF UV-VISIBLE SPECTROPHOTOMETRIC METHOD FOR ANALYSIS OF BOSENTAN IN SPIKED HUMAN PLASMA

    Objective: The aim of the present study is to develop and validate a simple, efficient, economical and accurate UV-visible spectrophotometric method for estimation of bosentan in spiked human plasma. Methods: The analyte was extracted by Liquid-liquid Extraction (LLE) procedure using acetonitrile and chloroform. Absorbance of the analyte in the extract was measured at 270 nm using ethanol as a diluent. The developed method was validated for linearity, accuracy and robustness. Results: The proposed method was found to be linear in the range of 6 to 18 mg/ml. The correlation coefficient (r2) was found to be 0.99. The results revealed that the linearity, accuracy and robustness of the developed method were within the acceptable range. Conclusion: The analytical technique presented here demonstrates shorter and easier sample preparation method, decreased analysis time and reduces the need for complicated or expensive equipment. The sample preparation method used in this study can also be further extended to higherend analytical techniques and other biological samples for quantification of bosentan

This paper presents a modified carry select adder(CSA) that operates at low power and proves more area and delay efficient. Validation of the logic is done through extensive simulations for measuring the power and delay. Simple and efficient gate level modification is used in order to reduce the area, delay and power of CSA.The result analysis shows that the proposed structure(CSA CBL) is better than the conventional CSA and CSA with BEC
