An Analysis of the Necessity and Opportunity for Creating a Common Regional Geographical Information System on Water Resources in Romania and Bulgaria
Abstract This study aims to examine the accessibility and performance of Romania and Bulgaria in the context of the European Water Directive and their location on the Black Sea coast. To meet this main goal, the analysis was conceived from the standpoint of the existence, implementation and utility of water information systems in these two neighboring countries. Therefore, we took into consideration the projects which have been done so far in the field of the water information systems in Romania and Bulgaria, but we also highlighted the differences between these two states from the point of view of the complexity, and efficiency of their regional unification. To facilitate the study, we focused on the most important projects governed by the European legislation in the hydrological field. These European or national projects aimed at improving the management of information, alert and conservation of water resources in the hydrological and hydrogeological common space of these two countries have been comparatively analyzed. Finally, some perspectives are proposed for a better design of the hydrological projects which main purpose should be the protection and higher -quality research of the water resources in Romania's and Bulgaria's hydrological border area
Disposal Behavior of Used Masks during the COVID-19 Pandemic in the Moroccan Community: Potential Environmental Impact
The spread of coronavirus disease-2019 (COVID-19) levied on the Moroccan authorities to increase their mask production capacity, which reached up to 12 million facemask units produced per day. This increase in personal protective equipment (PPE) production and consumption is an efficient tool to address the spread of COVID-19. However, this results in more plastic and microplastic debris being added into the land and marine environments, which will harm the ecosystem, wildlife, and public health. Such a situation needs deep individual behavior observation and tracking, as well as an assessment of the potential environmental impact of this new type of waste. For this reason, we assessed the Moroccan population’s behavior regarding the use and disposal of facemasks and gloves. An exploratory survey was prepared and shared via social media and email with the population of Rabat-Salé-Kénitra and Casablanca-Settat regions. Additionally, we calculated the estimated number and weight of daily and weekly PPE used and generated by the studied regions. The survey showed that 70% of the respondents threw their discarded masks and gloves in house trash or trash bins after their first use, whereas nearly 30% of respondents admitted that they did not wear masks because they did not leave their homes during the lockdown, while from the 70% of facemask users, more than five million (equivalent to 40,000 kg) of facemasks would be generated and disposed of daily by the community of these regions, which presents 35% of the total engendered facemask waste in Morocco. Accordingly, the environment impact of facemasks showed that the greenhouse gas footprint is about 640 kT CO2 eq./year for the whole of Morocco, while the energy footprint is around 60,000 GWh/year. Furthermore, an urgent multidisciplinary environmental assessment of the potential impact of PPE must be conducted among the 12 Moroccan regions. This study demonstrated the real impact of the COVID-19 PPE on human behavior and the environment and suggests a need for providing new didactic management of facemasks and gloves
Stakeholders’ Interaction in Water Management System: Insights from a MACTOR Analysis in the R’Dom Sub-basin, Morocco
This paper aims to examine the stakeholders' interaction in the water management system at the R'Dom Sub-basin (Morocco). For this purpose, The MACTOR participatory approach was implemented to involve all key water stakeholders and to analyze their interactions. The action system was characterized by the analysis of related water issues and relevant actors on the ground. Thus, ten actors and twelve objectives were identified and assessed in this study. The analysis of stakeholder role allowed to identify the typology of stakeholders according to their strategic objectives and to evaluate their power, influence and dependence, as well as their convergence in a global water cycle management. The results show a significant level of convergence among stakeholders, despite the existence of certain stakeholders who may be considered autonomous, given their low involvement in integrated water management. Furthermore, there was a limited involvement of stakeholders in certain strategic objectives such as capacity building, technical means, and awareness-raising actions. CVs Classification Using Neural Network Approaches Combined with BERT and Gensim: CVs of Moroccan Engineering Students
Deep learning (DL)-oriented document processing is widely used in different fields for extraction, recognition, and classification processes from raw corpus of data. The article examines the application of deep learning approaches, based on different neural network methods, including Gated Recurrent Unit (GRU), long short-term memory (LSTM), and convolutional neural networks (CNNs). The compared models were combined with two different word embedding techniques, namely: Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers (BERT) and Gensim Word2Vec. The models are designed to evaluate the performance of architectures based on neural network techniques for the classification of CVs of Moroccan engineering students at ENSAK (National School of Applied Sciences of Kenitra, Ibn Tofail University). The used dataset included CVs collected from engineering students at ENSAK in 2023 for a project on the employability of Moroccan engineers in which new approaches were applied, especially machine learning, deep learning, and big data. Accordingly, 867 resumes were collected from five specialties of study (Electrical Engineering (ELE), Networks and Systems Telecommunications (NST), Computer Engineering (CE), Automotive Mechatronics Engineering (AutoMec), Industrial Engineering (Indus)). The results showed that the proposed models based on the BERT embedding approach had more accuracy compared to models based on the Gensim Word2Vec embedding approach. Accordingly, the CNN-GRU/BERT model achieved slightly better accuracy with 0.9351 compared to other hybrid models. On the other hand, single learning models also have good metrics, especially based on BERT embedding architectures, where CNN has the best accuracy with 0.9188

Graduates employability: An exploratory Literature Review
This paper aims to present an exploratory literature review from the “Education and Training” journal indexed in Scopus, which has published 99 articles about “Graduate Employability” from 2005 to 2021. After cleaning, classifying and reading these articles with NVIVO; As a result, we have found that authors utilize: quantitative, qualitative, mixed and experimental methodology to address problems related to graduate attributes, graduate employability skills and constructs, enhance employability, self-employability perception and employers perceptions. Also, we have identified three famous conceptual frameworks to measure graduate employability: the Graduate Employability Development model [1], the CareerEDGE model [2] and the Career Management Employability model [3]

Digital entrepreneurship in Morocco: measurement model validation
According to the 2017 Global Entrepreneurship Monitor report, there are 6.5 million adults aged 18-64 planning to start an entrepreneurial career by 2020. However, the gap between attempt and effective creations remains one of the largest within Arab countries (40% versus 9%). Given these statistics, we ask the question about the profile of the Moroccan entrepreneur. In this paper, we opted for a quantitative research methodology on an exploratory sample. We distributed a questionnaire to a sample of eighty Moroccan entrepreneurs representing different regions of Morocco. The objective of our study is to validate a measurement scale of three dimensions: 1/ entrepreneurial motivations, 2/ skills, and 3/ behaviour in the Moroccan context. To do so, we present, in the first part, a literature review on digital entrepreneurship. Then, we establish a state of the art of entrepreneurship in Morocco. Then, we show our methodology. Finally, we reveal and discuss the results of our study
Serious Games at the service of student’s integration into the work sector: Case of computer science engineering students
Students develop a big commitment personally and invest financially to pursue their education and get the degree that opens many gateways for them, but what if the degrees don’t match the skills required by most employers? As time has changed, employability is based on knowledge and several abilities such as soft skills, communication, leadership, creative and critical thinking. It is hard for universities to keep track of all these changes and, at the same time, the technological advancements, the hard facts and the skills of most of the disciplines. Our research aims to study the needs requested the most by employers. To achieve that, we started with a survey with some laureates and multiple interviews with different recruiters to identify their requirements. We can define the training students need to have before integrating the job market, ease their insertion, and make their integration successful
Digital accessibility: A systematic Literature Review
Today digital content has soared since the covid19 pandemic, no physical interaction, only digital operations, even in the education system and training. Learning moved towards the virtual classroom, and e-learning is now widely adopted. This transformation was a challenge for most people, especially people with disabilities. Although, despite the type of disability, digital content and services should be accessible, which means it includes considerations like compatibility with assistive technologies, using enough contrast for visually impaired users, providing understandable content, etc. Many studies have shown decades before covid19 the importance of digital accessibility, including guidelines, implementation and evaluation, design and methods. This systematic literature review of 204 studies exposes the different topics related to digital accessibility in previous studies
