Effect of bulk inversion asymmetry on the Datta-Das transistor

A model of the Datta-Das spin field-effect transistor is presented which, in addition to the Rashba interaction, takes into account the influence of bulk inversion asymmetry of zinc-blende semiconductors. In the presence of bulk inversion asymmetry, the conductance is found to depend significantly on the crystallographic orientation of the channel. We determine the channel direction optimal for the observation of the Datta-Das effect in GaAs and InAs-based devices.Comment: 4 pages, Revtex4, 4 EPS figure

Перспективи міжвидової гібридизації в селекції актинідії

Interspecific crossings of the genus Actinidia Lindl. were carried out in 34 combination: A. arguta, A. kolomikta, A. chinensis, A. polygama, A. purpurea. As a result of conducted hybridization it was determined that species A. arguta crossed easily each other, and while crossing with A. arguta and A. purpurea, A. kolomikta and A. chinensis fruits were growed only with the help of stimulators. Combinations, where A. polygama served as a maternal form, and generative or gan treatments carried out by gibberellic acid, turned out to be the most resultative. For the first time remote crossings yielded positive results from the following species: A. chinеnsis × A. kolomikta, A. polygama × A. chinensis, A. polygama × A. kolomikta, A. polygama × A. arguta, A. polygama × A. purpurea.У результаті міжвидових схрещувань у роді Actinidia Lindl. у 34 комбінаціях між видами: A. arguta, A. kolomikta, A. chinensis, A. polygama, A. purpurea виявлено, що види A. arguta та A. purpurea вільно схрещуються між собою, а при запиленні їх пилком A. kolomikta та A. chinensis плоди вдалося отримати лише за допомогою стимуляторів. Найрезультативнішими виявилися комбінації, де материнською формою була A. polygama, а обробка проводилася гібереловою кислотою. Вперше отримано позитивний результат від віддалених схрещувань таких видів: A. chinеnsis × A. kolomikta, A. polygama × A. chinensis, A. polygama × A. kolomikta, A. polygama × A. arguta, A. polygama × A. purpurea

For selection works quality of pollen of peach and apricot are determined. Is shown, that sterility at an apricot is determined not only origin, but also terms of maturing of the forms.Для селекційної роботи визначено якість пилку та самоплідність сортів абрикоса і персика. Інтродукція та селекція актинідії: досягнення і перспективи розвитку досліджень

The paper presents literature data about introduction and selection of actinidia (Actinidia Lindl.) in Ukraine and in abroad. The attention was focused on the breeders of M.M. Grishko Nacionai Botanical Gardens and perspective usage of interspecific hybridisation and selection of actinidia. Positive results were achieved with crossing of such species: A. chinensis × A. kolomikta, A. polygama × A. chinensis, A. polygama × A. kolomikta, A. polygama × A. arguta, A. polygama × A. purpurea.Наведено літературні дані щодо інтродукції та селекції актинідії (Actinidia Lindl.) в Україні, а також у близькому та далекому зарубіжжі.
