    To investigate extrapolation of the Ingard\u27s explicit representation [1] for acousticdissipation around a circular aperture to a non-circular one, rigorous experiments werecarried out. Consequently the dissipation given by the explicit representation becameless than that of experiment as the aperture shape became apart from circular.
