    Factors influencing society to invest in unit trust: a case study in Shah Alam / Nur Razan Izzati Mohd Roslan

    The Malaysian Capital Market is unique because it runs two types of capital market in the same time which is islamic and conventional. One of the component in Islamic Capital Market is unit trust. Unit Trust or mutual fund had played important role within the Malaysian Financial System as it can help boost investors wealth. The importance of Syariah Unit Trust can be seen from Financial Sector Blueprint 2011 - 2020, which is one of nine major areas highlighted in internalisation of islamic finance is to aim innovative islamic instrument financial by making more condusive environment for the mobilisation of higher volumes international islamic financial flows. The purpose of this research is to investigate the relationship between demographic profiles and level understanding of the respondants. This research also aims to identify the factor that influence society in investing. The results of the study shows that the factor that may influence investor to invest in unit trust is the product qualities. The study also found that the one who did not invest in unit trust is because they are confuse by variety of fund choices and did not approach by agents unit trust. Thus, it is hope that the study can add knowledge of the publics and give the fund companies some light to improve their marketing strategies

    Development of Wakf Fund in Public Higher Education Institutions

    In light of evolving socioeconomic factors, the annual rise in education costs presents a pressing concern. Johor Islamic Religious Council has appointed special trustees from the UTM Education Wakf Fund and UTHM Education Cash Wakf Fund to address this challenge. This paper aims to analyze the development of wakf funds as practiced by UTM and UTHM. The research methodology employed for this study encompasses content analysis and interviews, unveiling the systematic and effective management of wakf funds for education. Notably, enhancements are evident in fund accumulation, refined management strategies, and the proactive adoption of fundraising approaches. These findings underscore the institutions' commitment to mitigating the escalating cost of education while ensuring sustainable financial support for their student communities

    Empowering education transformation through IR 4.0: efforts in improving the quality of Arabic language education

    Education is one of the important aspects and it is becoming the most influential social institution in the society. The impacts of Industrial Revolution 4.0 are not only on industrial and the electronic sector, but the education sector is also affected by it. The main objective of this article is to identify the elements of Arabic language learning implementation amongst teachers and to oversee the challenges faced by the teachers in incorporating technology with Arabic language teaching. This study used a qualitative methodology by collecting and assessing the information from previous studies such as journals, articles and books. This study found that there were four basic elements related to the implementation of Arabic language learning in teaching and facilitating process include teachers' perception, preparation, practice and challenges in implementing and practicing this learning technique.
