    On the Order of the Schur Multiplier of a Pair of Finite p-Groups

    In 1998, G. Ellis defined the Schur multiplier of a pair (G,N)(G,N) of groups and mentioned that this notion is a useful tool for studying pairs of groups.     Comparing diagnosis of depression in depressed patients by EEG, based on two algorithms :Artificial Nerve Networks and Neuro-Fuzy Networks

    Background and aims: Depression disorder is one of the most common diseases, but the diagnosis is widely complicated and controversial because of interventions, overlapping and confusing nature of the disease. So, keeping previous patients’ profile seems effective for diagnosis and treatment of present patients. Use of this memory is latent in synthetic neuro-fuzzy algorithm. Present article introduces two neuro-fuzzy and artificial neural network algorithms as an aid for psychologists and psychiatrists to diagnose and treat depression. Methods: Neuro-fuzzy has been carried out using data evaluated by psychiatrists and scholars in Tabriz city with the convenience sampling method. Sixty-five patients were studied from whom 40 patients were taught feed forward, back propagation by artificial neural network algorithm and 14 patients were tested. An inductive neuro-fuzzy intervention created neuro-fuzzy rules to decide about depression diagnosis. Results: The proposed neuro-fuzzy model created better classifications. Reaching maximum accuracy of 13.97is appropriate in diagnosis prediction. The results of the present study indicated that neuro-fuzzy is more powerful than artificial neural network with accuracy 76.88. Conclusion: Findings of the research showed the depression scores of beck inventory can be predicted and explained with the accuracy of 87 using EEG in F4 and alpha peak frequency. It can be said that such accuracy in predicting can’t be obtained by any regression or route analysis method. The research can be the first step to predict and even identify depression using taking the data directly from the brain. So, there is no need for inventory and even a specialist diagnosis

    Determining the relationship between depression and brain waves in depressed subjects using Pearson correlation and regression

    Background and aims: The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between brain waves and Beck Depression Inventory(BDI) score in clinical cases with depression. Methods: In this study, EEG was taken using neurofeedback device at the point F4 of dorsolateral prefrontal cortex (DLPFC) of the brain of 60 depressed patients referred to psychiatric clinic. At the same time, Beck Depression Inventory was performed to assess the severity of depression. With the condition of artifact lower than 50, fourty one EEG related to the 41 subjects were remained after eliminating artifact. Results: The findings of this study confirm the mean decrease in alpha and theta waves and increase beta wave in the brain waves of depressed patients. Comprehensive analysis of the data with a multi-regression indicates a predictable BDI score at F4, based on two variables (mean beta and mean alpha) which reflects the depression increase by increased mean beta and decreased mean alpha according to the following equation: Depression based on Beck at F4 point is equal to: Beck’s depression score= mean beta (0.532)+mean Alpha (0.412). Conclusion: Due to rapid growth of the elderly population in the country as well as Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province, considering the needs of this age group is an important necessity

    Fillet yield, proximate composition and mineral contents in Indian spiny halibut Psettodes erumei caught from the coastal waters of Bushehr (Persian Gulf)

    The objective of this study was to assess fillet yield, proximate composition and mineral contents of the Indian spiny halibut (Psettodes erumei) during different seasons. Fish samples (female = 100 and male = 100) were caught from the coastal waters of Bushehr province and body weight and length were taken to predict fillet weight and yield. Large differences in the fillet yield were observed between seasons. The highest fillet yield (49.4%) was obtained in the samples collected in autumn while samples collected in spring had the lowest yield (42.1%). There was a linear relationship between fish length and fillet weight while no significant correlation was found between fillet yield and body measurements (weight and length). The fat content of Indian spiny halibut was < 1.2% throughout the sampling period. Based on the results, fish collected in all seasons except spring for fillets may lead to a higher production with no significant difference between two sexes

    Effects of dietary carbohydrate levels on growth, survival and body composition in Caspian Kutum (Rutilus frisii kutum, Kamenskii, 1901)

    This study was carried out to evaluate the effects of dietary carbohydrate levels on growth performance and body composition of juveniles Caspian Kutum (Rutilus frisii kutum). Fish with initial average weight of 0.8±0.2g (±SD) were fed five isoproteic and isenergic formulated diets with different carbohydrate levels including 15, 20, 25, 30 and 35% in triplicate groups, 4 times daily according to their satiation for 10 weeks. Results showed that increasing the level of carbohydrate to 35% significantly increase some growth indices such as final weight (Wf), weight gain (WG), body weight increase (BWI), specific growth rate (SGR) and protein efficiency ratio (PER). In addition, result of body composition analysis showed that the increase in carbohydrate level lead to increase of protein level. So, the highest amount of protein was observed in fingerlings fed with diet containing 35% carbohydrate. In conclusion, the results indicate that increase in carbohydrate levels from 15 to 35% have not any negative effect on growth parameters and therefore, the level of 35% carbohydrate in the diet of 1-2g Caspian Kutum fingerlings can lead to better efficient in protein and desirable growth

    Yield of protein recovery and degree of hydrolysis associated protein hydrolysates from Bighead Carp (Aristichthys nobilis) by using enzymes

    The present study compared the properties of Bighead carp (Aristichthys nobilis) visceral, viscera use of commercial enzymes (Alcalase, Papain, and Protamex), recovery protein and degree of hydrolysis in the various temperatures and times of hydrolysis process. According to results, increase in time and temperature in hydrolysis process, led to increase in both recovery protein and degree of hydrolysis. Maximum of these parameters were observed at 55°C and 60min. minimum of parameters were observed at 35°C and 15min. In addition, among enzymes being investigated, Alcalase had high rate of recovery protein and degree of hydrolysis in equal temperature and times different from others enzymes (Papain and Protamex). Maximum mean of recovery protein for Alcalase was %51.38±2.39 in 55°C and 60 min of hydrolysis process. Also, maximum degree of hydrolysis for Alcalaqse was more than 20% at 55°C and 60 min of hydrolysis process. In conclusion, use of Alcalase enzyme induces product protein hydrolysates from Bighead Carp (Aristichthys nobilis) viscera that have suitable quality than others enzymes (Papain, and Protamex)

    Targeting Listeria monocytogenes consensus sequence of internalin genes using an antisense molecule

    As an intracellular pathogen, Listeria monocytogenes can enter host cells where it can replicate and escape detection and eradication by the host immune response making the clearance of infection very challenging. Furthermore, with the advent of antimicrobial resistance, the need for alternative targets is inevitable. Internalin proteins are crucial to this bacterium as they contribute to bacterial entry to the systemic circulation. In this study, we targeted a highly conserved region of these proteins by an antisense sequence that was covalently conjugated to the cell penetrating peptides (CPP) to overcome the challenging delivery barriers. Then, we evaluated the efficiency of this construct in vitro. We also assessed the antigenicity, cytotoxicity, and probability of apoptosis induction by this construct. The studied CPP-PNA inhibited bacterial growth and suppressed the mRNA expression of internalins in a dose-dependent manner. In addition, at all studied concentrations, CPP-PNA significantly reduced the invasion rate of L. monocytogenes in the examined cell lines. Moreover, different concentrations of CPP-PNA did not have a significant antigenic, cytotoxic, and apoptotic properties compared to the control. These results suggest the effectiveness of CPP-antisense in targeting the mRNAs of internalins for various research, therapeutic and preventive purposes. However, additional research is required to evaluate the potency, safety, and pharmacokinetics of this compound for the prevention and treatment of listeriosis

    Reliability and Supply Security based Method for Simultaneous Placement of Sectionalizer Switch and DER Units

    This paper presents a new and useful methodology for simultaneous allocation of sectionalizer switches and distributed energy resources (DERs) considering both reliability and supply security aspects. The proposed algorithm defines the proper locations of sectionalizer switching devices in radial distribution networks considering the effect of DER units in the presented cost function and other optimization constraints such as providing the maximum number of costumers to be supplied by DER units in islanded distribution systems after possible outages. In this paper, the main goal of cost function is to minimize the total cost of expected energy not supplied (EENS) with regard to impacts of load priority and optimum load shedding in the both grid connected and islanding states after possible outages. The proposed method is simulated and tested on a case study system in both cases of with DER and non DER situations. Also, this paper evaluates the number and amount of DER, switch and different DER penetration percentage effects in cost function value.  For solving of mentioned problem, this paper uses a new and strong method based on imperialist competitive algorithm (ICA).  Simulation and numerical results show the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm for placement of switch and DER units in the radial distribution network simultaneously
