Scholingsdag docenten over micro-organismen
Op 14 oktober 2010 waren twintig biologiedocenten van middelbare scholen bijeen in Wageningen voor een studiedag over ‘De rol van microorganismen in de natuur’. Het initiatief voor de organisatie van deze dag is gekomen van de docenten zelf. Ze stelden vast dat er voor middelbare scholen weinig leerstof voorhanden is over bacteriën, schimmels en aaltjes en hoe bepalend deze ‘onzichtbare’ organismen zijn voor de landbouw en onze voedselvoorziening. Ze werden hierover bijgepraat door medewerkers van Wageningen University and Research Centre
