    Abstract: Pancasila and Civic Education (called PPKn) aims to develop the character values of students in which there is a component of knowledge, awareness or will, and actions to carry out these values. This study aims to determine the impact of the implementation of learning models based on High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) in strengthening the character of students in learning PPKn in SMA Negeri 1 Tanjung Raja. This research uses descriptive research method with the sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The sample in this study is 30 students in grade X MIPA 3. Data were collected using observation techniques and documentation. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that the implementation of the HOTS-based learning model can strengthen the character of students. Keywords: character, HOTS Based-Learning Model, PPKn

    Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (development research) yang bertujuan untuk menghasilkan desain pembelajaran berbasis nilai. Penelitian ini melalui 4 tahapan yaitu tahapan persiapan, perancangan, pengembangan, dan tahap akhir. Subjek penelitian adalah subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa yang mengikuti mata kuliah Telaah Kurikulum pada semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2011/2012. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi video yang dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengamati aktivitas belajar dan wawancara. Semua data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil analisis data menyimpulkan bahwa dengan menggunakan pendekatan analisis nilai, nilai – nilai pendidikan matematika yang muncul diantaranya keterbukaan, kejelasan, sistematisasi, kreatifitas, membuka pikiran, dan konjektur

    Pengembangan Video Pembelajaran Berbasis PMRI untuk Mendukung Mental Calculation Siswa dalam Permasalahan Aritmatika Sosial

    This study aims to develop a PMRI-based Social Arithmetic learning video in the junior high school that is valid, practical, and has a potential effect to support the mental calculation of junior high school students in Social Arithmetic issues. This type of research is a modified development study between Rowntree and Tessmer. There are 3 stages in this research namely planning stage, development stage, and evaluation phase. In the development process, this research involves experts as validators of a learning video developed. The subjects of this study are students of grade VII Islamic Junior High School Raudhatul Ulum Sakatiga Indralaya as many as 22 people. The result of this research shows that the learning video developed by this researcher is valid by the experts who tested 3 aspects i.e. material aspect, media display and instructional design; practice based on result of one to one scale that is testing the product on 3 students with different skills and on a small group scale of 6 people; and having a potential effect to support students' mental calculation in social arithmetic problems

    Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan materi pelajaran untuk mata kuliah Program Komputer dengan memanfaatkan MoDELss (Moodle E-Learning for Sriwijaya Students). Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan menurut Rowntree. Ada tiga fase dalam penelitian ini: tahap perencanaan, tahap pengembangan, dan tahap evaluasi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah semua siswa yang mengikuti mata kuliah Program Komputer di tahun akademik 20152016. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan observasi, dokumen online, wawancara, dan tes online. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa materi pelajaran yang dikembangkan dalam kualitas yang baik yang dapat digunakan untuk kuliah Program Komputer namun demikian mteri pelajaran ini masih dibutuhkan penyempurnaan.    DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.22342/jpm.10.2.3627.13-2

    Structured Arrangement Supporting The Development of Splitting Level in Doing Multiplication By Number Up To 20

    In guiding students to construct a mathematical concept themselves, learning process should be started by a context which is suit with the concept. In this research, we focused on structured arrangement which was believed to be able to support students ages 8 – 9 years old developing splitting strategy in doing multiplication. This study was a design research underlined by tenets of Realistic Mathematics Education (RME).     The Eighth Graders' Higher Order Thinking Skills in Solving Numeracy Problems-Based Minimum Competency Assessment

    The Indonesian government makes efforts to improve students' higher-order thinking skills by implementing a Minimum Competency Assessment or Assessment Kompetensi Minimum (AKM) as a substitute for the National Examination. With the implementation of the AKM, it is necessary to find out how students can solve these questions. This research analyzed students' higher-order thinking skills in solving AKM-type math problems. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research consisting of 3 stages: the preparation stage, the implementation stage, and the data analysis stage. The research was conducted in the odd semester of the 2020/2021 academic year with the research subjects of eleven 8th grade students of SMP IT Raudhatul Ulum Sakatiga, South Sumatra, and SMPN 11 Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan. Data collection techniques used are tests, documentation, observation, and interviews. The data were analyzed qualitatively. The results showed that students with high abilities could solve several questions that required analytical power but were still weak in solving questions that required evaluation. Other students still need to improve their analytical and evaluation skills

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan kuis interaktif berbasis e-learning pada mata kuliah Belajar dan Pembelajaran Matematika dengan menggunakan aplikasi Wondershare Quiz Creator. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan modifikasi antara Rowntree dan Tessmer. Terdapat 3 tahap dalam penelitian ini yaitu tahap perencanaan, tahap pengembangan, dan tahap evaluasi. Dalam proses pengembangannya, penelitian ini melibatkan ahli sebagai validator kuis interaktif yang dikembangkan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa yang menempuh mata kuliah Belajar dan Pembelajaran Matematika tahun ajaran 2016/2017. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa kuis interaktif yang dikembangkan oleh peneliti ini dinyatakan valid oleh para ahli yang menguji 3 aspek yaitu aspek materi, tampilan media serta design pembelajaran; dinyatakan praktis berdasarkan hasil penelitian pada skala satu satu yaitu mengujicobakan produk pada 3 orang siswa yang berkemampuan berbeda dan pada skala kelompok kecil yang berjumlah 6 orang; serta efektif dari segi waktu dan ekonomi berdasarkan hasil uji coba lapangan

    Analysis of Question Levels Design through Vertex-Edge and Graph Chapter for Prekindergarten-Grade 2

    This paper focuses on vertex-edge and graph topics in Prekindergarten to Grade 2, including an overview of the design level of the question and student's strategy in solving problems related to the topic. It discusses how the topic should be introduced in Prekindergarten to Grade 2 and the efforts to facilitate and support the level-question adoption of vertex-edge and graph topics for those graders. Fourteen students participated in this study from different schools in South Sumatra, Indonesia. This research was a development study using design research implementation with quantitative data analysis by testing, and qualitative by face-to-face interview. The results showed that students assessed a question categorized into easy, medium, and hard levels according to the questions' complexity. This study can be used as a guidance to teach vertex-edge and graph topics more interestingly
