Are there any Dermoscopic Signs of Primary Cutaneous Follicular Center B-cell Lymphoma?

Cutaneous follicular center B-cell lymphoma is an indolent tumor that arise on head or neck. Histology by immunotyping with monoclonal antibodies in frozen or paraffin - embedded tissue is necessary for diagnosis. The tumor is usually treated by surgery or radiotherapy, although other treatments may be used such as interferon-α, chemotherapy, and biological agents. We report the case of a 70-year-old woman C, having a son followed in our department for Primary cutaneous follicular center B-Cell lymphoma who consulted for erythematous tumour in the temporal region that exhibit special features in dermoscopy and who was diagnosed with cutaneous follicular center B-cell lymphoma after biopsy, laboratory tests, thoracic-abdominal-pelvic computed tomography and abdominal ultrasound. These observation provide a first indication that early stage PCFCCL exhibits a characteristic dermoscopic pattern which is different. Prospective studies with long term follow-up are needed to determine the value of these dermoscopic

Key words: Aphtose buccale, maladie coeliaque, récidiv

    Get PDF

Acral melanoma represents 3 to 13% of all cutaneous melanoma in Caucasians. In Morocco, this location is predominant. Throught our study, we intend to describe the epidemiological, clinical, pathological, and prognosis of acral melanoma cases listed in dermatology department of Hassan II University Hospital of Fez in Morocco, in the period from January 2009 and April 2014

Giant Pilomatricoma of the Scalp: A Case Report

    Get PDF
Pilomatricoma is a benign cutaneous tumor originating from hair follicle matrix cells and characterized by the presence of subcutaneous nodules of up to 3.0 cm in diameter, usually on the head, neck and upper extremities. It is most common in the first two decades of life and after the age of 60. We report a case of an adult female patient was evaluated, presenting a solid tumoral lesion, with approximately 3.5 x 3.0 cm in size, in the scalp. It was thought to be a squamous cell carcinoma, sarcoma, amelanotic melanoma, or nodular basal cell carcinoma. The resection of the lesion was carried out and, at the histological examination, specific details were observed that led to the diagnosis of pilomatricoma. Pilomatricoma should be suspected in the differential diagnosis of other cutaneous tumors

Vitiligo is an autoimmune disease characterized by depigmented patches and macules. It is associated with many autoimmune diseases, the most common of which is thyroid diseases. The association between Interferon (IFN) therapy and vitiligo is rarely reported in the literature, despite its common usage in many diseases particularly hepatitis C viral infection (HCV). We report four cases of vitiligo that appeared after treating HCV with pegylated IFN
