Evaluation Checklists for Agritourism and Direct Marketing Operations: Farmer and Extension Resources
The Rutgers Agritourism Training Team created a series of checklists designed for agritourism and direct marketing operators as part of an educational curriculum. Checklists were specifically crafted for farmer self-assessment or for evaluation in cooperation with Extension professionals. A primary training goal was to aid farmers with identifying operational improvements and adopting best practices in the areas of farm safety and liability management. Checklist topics included general farm safety conditions, animal safety protocols, emergency response procedures, liability management, employee training and management, food safety, and parking and traffic management. Ask the Ag Agent Weekly Webinar Series: Agriculture-Focused Response to the COVID-19 Pandemic
The COVID-19 pandemic has restricted traditional delivery of Extension programs. Our group of Rutgers agricultural agents responded by developing a weekly webinar series to remotely continue agricultural consultations and provide an open forum for farmers. Pandemic-related topics included farm labor, compliance with state executive orders, supply-chain disruptions, livestock processing, farmer assistance programs, and other issues. Participation from 258 farmers, agricultural agencies, and other groups resulted in effective networking and timely delivery of information to the agriculture industry. By using available online tools, we were able to efficiently deliver Extension programming and resources to agricultural producers and industry partners. Our efforts may be informative for others as needs related to the pandemic evolve
Modifying and Supplementing Annie\u27s Project to Increase Impact in New Jersey and Beyond
Annie\u27s Project is a widely known risk management program emphasizing five areas of risk and creating support networks for women in agriculture. Designed as an 18-hr course delivered through a series of face-to-face classes, it can be adapted to meet the learning needs and time constraints of the target audience and instructors. This article describes modifications and additions to the traditional program delivery that were implemented by the Annie\u27s Project New Jersey team: synchronous learning at multiple locations, archived video-recorded classes, condensed 1-day workshops, a supplemental program about estate and farm transition planning, archived webinars, and international adaptations of the program

Nivel del desempeño laboral de los profesionales de enfermería del Instituto Regional de Enfermedades Neoplásicas Dr. Luis Pinillos Ganoza – Trujillo 2018
RESUMEN
El propósito de la presente investigación medir el nivel del desempeño laboral de los profesionales de enfermería del Instituto Regional de Enfermedades Neoplásicas Dr. Luis Pinillos Ganoza – Trujillo 2018.
La metodología utilizada fue cuantitativa, el tipo de estudio no experimental, de diseño descriptivo-transversal. La población que forma parte del estudio es de 45 profesionales de enfermería, a quienes se les aplicó un cuestionario de 38 preguntas con cinco alternativas como respuesta, según la escala de Lickert, con un valor de alfa de Cronbach de 86.1%, la que concluye que el nivel de desempeño laboral de los profesionales de enfermería del Instituto Regional de Enfermedades Neoplásicas Dr. Luis Pinillos Ganoza, fue de un nivel alto con un 80%, en relación a las dimensiones del desempeño laboral se obtuvo lo siguiente: para la dimensión motivación extrínseca se obtuvo un mismo puntaje 42.9% tanto para el nivel alto como para el nivel regular, mientras que la dimensión motivación intrínseca obtuvo un nivel alto con un 80%, en cuanto a la dimensión cognitiva el nivel fue alto con un 88.6%, para la dimensión afectiva el nivel fue alto representado por un 91.4%, la dimensión psicomotora obtuvo un nivel alto con un 80%. El presente trabajo permite que el departamento de enfermería busque estrategias para mejorar el desempeño laboral de su equipo de trabajo y por ende mejore la atención que brinda a su objeto de atención.

The purpose of this research is to measure the level of work performance of nursing professionals of the Instituto Regional de Enfermedades Neoplásicas Dr. Luis Pinillos Ganoza - Trujillo 2018.
The methodology used was quantitative, the type of non-experimental study, of descriptive-transversal design. The population that is part of the study is 45 nursing professionals, who were given a questionnaire of 38 questions with five alternatives in response, according to the scale of Lickert, with a Cronbach's alpha of 86.1%, which concludes that the level of work performance of the nursing professionals of the Instituto Regional de Enfermedades Neoplásicas Dr. Luis Pinillos Ganoza, was of a high level with 80%, in relation to the dimensions of work performance was obtained the following: for the motivation dimension extrinsic obtained the same score 42.9% for both the high level and the regular level, while the intrinsic motivation dimension obtained a high level with 80%, in terms of the cognitive dimension the level was high with 88.6%, for the affective dimension the level was high represented by 91.4%, the psychomotor dimension obtained a high level with 80%. The present work allows the nursing department to look for strategies to improve the work performance of its work team and therefore improve the attention it provides to its object of attention.
