Este artículo se propone mostrar los fundamentos de un paradigma orientado hacia la compresión de la realidad social, teniendo en cuenta sus múltiples perspectivas y su carácter dinámico. El propósito planteado se pretende alcanzar a partir del análisis de las coordenadas epistemológicas que centran su interés en la comprensión de los conceptos de espacio y tiempo. Luego se examinan los criterios epistemológicos tradicionales y se enuncia algunos efectos sobre el tratamiento de la dimensión social en los educandos, contrastados con una sección final que describe algunas de los fundamentos de la nueva propuesta pedagógica y su incidencia en el desarrollo de las naciones sociales básicas.This article aims to show the foundations of a paradigm oriented towards the compression of social reality, taking into account its multiple perspectives and its dynamic nature. The proposed purpose is to be achieved from the analysis of the epistemological coordinates that focus their interest on understanding the concepts of space and time. Then the traditional epistemological criteria are examined and some effects on the treatment of the social dimension in students are enunciated, contrasted with a final section that describes some of the foundations of the new pedagogical proposal and its impact on the development of basic social nations

Myths and realities about the educational liberal reforms in Santander (Colombia): 1936 – 1945

El presente artículo se propone establecer si en el Dpto. de Santander, considerado como un estudio de caso, las acciones generadas por el partido liberal a partir de 1936 (Establecimiento de la libertad de enseñanza, laicización de la educación e inclusión de la orientación curricular e inspección de la educación como función exclusiva del Estado) generaron modificaciones sustanciales en el ámbito escolar o se mantuvieron en el nivel retórico. Este propósito se desarrolla a partir de la sistematización de la información contendida en los informes que los Secretarios de instrucción presentaban ante el Gobernador, los cuales permiten reconstruir las representaciones oficiales sobre la educación. Los resultados que se presentan a continuación fueron obtenidos en una investigación ya culminada, que se llevó a cabo con 400 jóvenes, con el propósito de establecer la correspondencia entre sus representaciones políticas y los principios democráticos de la Constitución de 1991. El presente artículo permite reconocer que entre estas dos variables se encontraron relaciones de divergencia, ya que los pensamientos de la población encuestada y entrevistada, estuvieron más cerca de las concepciones tradicionales, que de la estructura politica planteada por la nueva Constitución, lo cual podría ser asumido como un indicador de que los avances democráticos planteados por la nueva Constitución aun no han logrado influenciar el pensamiento de la población escolarizada, la cual continúa manifestando actitudes y valores inspirados en la democracia representativa instaurada en el país por la Constitución de 1886.The results presented below were obtained in an investigation and culminated, which was conducted with 400 youth, with the purpose of establishing the correspondence between their political representation and democratic principles of the 1991 constitution.This paperallows us to recognize that between these two variables showed relationships of divergence, as the thoughts of the people surveyed and interviewed, were closer to traditional conceptions, that the political structure raised by the new constitution, which could be taken as an indicator of democratic progress posed by the new constitution have not yet managed to influence the thinking of the school population, which continues to express attitudes and values inspired by representative democracy introduced in the country by the constitution of 188

Este artículo presenta "la santandereanidad" como una representación política construida por personajes vinculados al partido Liberal. Detalla los elementos centrales y el contexto sociopolítico en que José Maria Samper a mediados del siglo XIX y Luis López de Mesa entre 1920 y 1940 manifestaron por escrito sus percepciones sobre el ser santandereano, en dos obras claves: Ensayo sobre las revoluciones políticas y la condición social sobre las Republicas Colombianas, de José Maria Samper y De cómo se ha formado la nación Colombiana, de Luis López de Mesa, obras que ocupan un sitio importante en el mundo de la Literatura política nacional.Palabras clave: Estado-Nación en Colombia, representaciones regionales, literatura política en Colombia, Luis López de Mesa, José Maria Samper.This article presents "santandereanidad" as a political representation constructed by characters linked to the Liberal party. Electoral processes and appointment of teachers in Colombia: the case Santander between 1930 and 1970

El presente texto se propone establecer el tipo de racionalidad en el nombramiento de maestros entre 1930 y 1970. El análisis se hizo a partir del cruce de datos provenientes de los resultados de los escrutinios a las diferentes corporaciones públicas en varios años electorales seleccionados, de los decretos de nombramientos de los docentes oficiales y de los censos de población infantil de cada una de los municipios examinados. Con la sistematización de la información de las series documentalesmencionadas se configuraron tres variables: La primera de ellas indica los fortines electorales de los partidos políticos predominantes, la segunda ofrece información detallada sobre los municipios en los que se nombraron los maestros y la tercera muestra en donde se encontraba la población infantil, buscando de esta manera validar o cuestionar las tesis que sostienen que durante este periodo las politicas públicas pasaron de ser partidistas a estatales.This paper aims to establish the type of rationality in the appointment of teachers between 1930 and 1970. The analysis was done from the crossing of data from the results of the ballots to the various public corporations in several election years selected, the decrees of appointment of qualified teachers and child population census of each of the municipalities examined. With the systematization of information in the records series listed are three major variables: The first indicates the electoral strongholds of the dominant political party, the second provides detailed information on the municipalities in which teachers were appointed and the third shows where was the child population, seeking to validate or challenge the thesis that argue that during this period went from public policy to state party
