Colombia for many decades has suffered the scourge of violence and war, leaving a number of victims as a result, the most regrettable thing is that currently there are still violent acts that negatively affect the population, leaving psychological and physical impacts, affecting its different areas. Added to this is the lack of interest and negligence on the part of the state in not executing actions that mitigate the consequences aggravated by the violence. Based on the above, the present work shows the approach to the case of Alfredo Campo (Stories taken from the book Voces: stories of violence and hope in Colombia, World Bank, 2009.). Alfredo Campo, recounts his lived experience due to violence where by the simple fact of serving his community he had to go through painful processes such as having to flee his community, leave his family to safeguard his life, in this case it is noteworthy that Despite all the painful experiences, this man managed to resurface and continue to fight for his purposes, being an example of resilience and strength. Starting from the analysis of the story, strategic, circular and reflective questions are formulated, aimed at achieving a psychosocial approach that allows investigating and acquiring information from the victim for guidance and intervention. Likewise, the case of Peñas Coloradas is analyzed, taken from "The State declared the Army the temporary owner of our village and sentenced us to exile." 2019. Truth Commission, this case leads us to identify situations experienced as a consequence of violence such as uprooting, death and stigmatization that, although time passes, the inhabitants continue to be victims who dream of the state and society assuming their responsibility in reparation, in the case of the case, strategies and actions are established that allow the victims to strengthen the resources to cope with the consequences of the malicious acts they have experienced. Finally, an analysis is carried out regarding the importance of the image and the narrative as a tool for psychosocial action in the accompaniment of victims of violence

We report the results of an International Nosocomial Infection Control Consortium (INICC) surveillance study from January 2007-December 2012 in 503 intensive care units (ICUs) in Latin America, Asia, Africa, and Europe. During the 6-year study using the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC) U.S. National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN) definitions for device-associated health care–associated infection (DA-HAI), we collected prospective data from 605,310 patients hospitalized in the INICC's ICUs for an aggregate of 3,338,396 days. Although device utilization in the INICC's ICUs was similar to that reported from ICUs in the U.S. in the CDC's NHSN, rates of device-associated nosocomial infection were higher in the ICUs of the INICC hospitals: the pooled rate of central line–associated bloodstream infection in the INICC's ICUs, 4.9 per 1,000 central line days, is nearly 5-fold higher than the 0.9 per 1,000 central line days reported from comparable U.S. ICUs. The overall rate of ventilator-associated pneumonia was also higher (16.8 vs 1.1 per 1,000 ventilator days) as was the rate of catheter-associated urinary tract infection (5.5 vs 1.3 per 1,000 catheter days). Frequencies of resistance of Pseudomonas isolates to amikacin (42.8% vs 10%) and imipenem (42.4% vs 26.1%) and Klebsiella pneumoniae isolates to ceftazidime (71.2% vs 28.8%) and imipenem (19.6% vs 12.8%) were also higher in the INICC's ICUs compared with the ICUs of the CDC's NHSN
