The role of Art, Spiritual, Science, Engineering & Technology (ASSET) for Improving Quality of the Indonesian Human Resources (IQIHR)

    Get PDF
This paper presents the role of Art, Spiritual, Science, Engineering & Technology (ASSET) for Improving the Quality of the Indonesian Human Resources (IQIHR). There are four universe aspects: Physical, Intellectual, Emotional and Spiritual (PIES) aspects related with IQIHR. There are three basic requirements for improving PIES aspects : Material, Energy and Information (MEI). Those aspects are important inputs for Education & Training (E&T) and Research & Development (R&D) activities for development of ASSET. IQIHR is desired output that must be attained from activities of E&T and R&Dbased on ASSET.Keywords: ASSET, IQIHR, PIES, MEI, E&T, R&D

Análisis de sitios web sobre regalos de empresa posicionados en Google.es

    Get PDF

    Culturally Responsive Teaching

    Get PDF
In December of 2020, The Illinois State Board of Education approved the Culturally Responsive Teaching Standards to promote a more sensitive approach to matters of race, gender, and sexual orientation in the school curriculum. This presentation will highlight the key components of the newly adopted standards and prepare future educators to teach in classrooms with diverse populations. Participants will understand cultural and community diversity, systems of oppression, examine their own belief systems, and learn how to incorporate students’ experiences, cultures, and community resources into their instruction

    D-base: interactive digital fashion catalogue

    Get PDF
There is no doubt development of digital media has had a great impact on the way that people create and view art. Some of the most innovative advances in digital media and graphic design have been developed for advertising and sales through the Internet. The exponential growth in availability of broadband cable Internet access for private residences is providing an opportunity to attract consumers in new and engaging ways. This fact combined with a general perception of a scarcity of free time and a desire to purchase unique goods that may not be readily available in ones local area has made shopping online more popular than ever before. Many retailers have attempted to target this growing audience by providing online shopping features to consumers but most have failed to provide an engaging user-friendly online store. I made an attempt to address what I see as a deficiency in interactivity and creativity in online fashion websites by developing a site that is uniquely navigated and fun to view. The motivation for developing an Interactive Digital Fashion Catalogue originates from my long-time passion for both fashion design and interior design. I used my computer graphic design skills as a spring board to allow me explore and develop my interests in these different fields of design. Pop-up books have always fascinated me and I sought to develop some of these complex geometrical art form attributes into my digital catalog. By employing current design software Digital Media Artists are able to create new and innovative ways for people to experience art. In developing my site I employed several programs, Adobe Flash CS3, Adobe Photoshop CS3, and Autodesk Maya 2008, were employed to achieve the desired results. The site was developed primarily with Adobe Flash and the 3D objects and animations were created with Autodesk Maya

Localization of compactness of Hankel operators on pseudoconvex domains

We prove the following localization for compactness of Hankel operators on Bergman spaces. Assume that D is a bounded pseudoconvex domain in C^n, p is a boundary point of D and B(p,r) is a ball centered at p with radius r so that U=D\cap B(p,r) is connected. We show that if the Hankel operator H^D_f is compact on A^2(D) (the symbols f is C^1 on the closure of D) then H^U_f is compact on A^2(U) where A^2(D) and A^2(U) denote the Bergman spaces on D and U, respectively.Comment: 9 pages. This is the concert program of A Masterclass with Joseph Silverstein, violin performance on Wednesday, February 24, 1993 at 8:00 p.m., at the Concert Hall, 855 Commonwealth Avenue. Works performed were Sarabande and Gigue from Partita No. 2 in D minor for Solo Violin, BWV 1004 by Johann Sebastian Bach, I. Allegro moderato from Violin Concerto in D major, Op. 77 by Johannes Brahms, and I. Allegro moderato from Violin Concerto, Op. 47 by Jean Sibelius. Study on the effect of feeding different levels of energy in compound Pellet on performance of growing black Bengal Goat

    Get PDF
Three different complete compound pellets containing different levels of energy, viz. SE (standard energy, ME content 10.28MJ/kg DM as per NRC, 1981), LE (low energy, ME content 9.25MJ/kg DM) 10% less ME and HE (high energy, ME content 11.30MJ/kg DM) 10% high ME than SE respectively, were prepared and fed to three groups of growing Black Bengal goats for evaluating feeding value. Completely randomized design was followed in the experiment. The effect of different levels of energy containing pellet on performance of goat was varied. Both dietary group SE and HE showed higher (p<0.01) weight gain, total CPI, total MEI, and better (p<0.05) FCR and PCR than dietary group LE and only dietary group HE showed higher (p<0.05) total DMI, MEI 100kg-1 LW d-1 and MEI kg-1W0.75 d-1 than LE and DMI kg-1W0.75 d-1 than SE and LE. Higher (p<0.01) digestibility of DM, OM, ADF, NDF and (p<0.05) CP and CF was observed in SE and HE and digestibility of NFE in HE was higher (p<0.01) than SE and LE. On the other hand, higher (p<0.05) digestibility of EE was observed in SE and LE. Digestible crude protein, TDN and D value were higher (p<0.01) in SE and HE. Digestible EE was highest (p<0.01) in LE and lowest in HE but digestible NFE was highest (p<0.01) in HE and lowest in LE. Higher (p0.05) nitrogen retention was observed in SE and HE. Meat yield, selling price of meat, and total price was highest in HE and both SE and HE showed higher (p<0.01) value of the parameters than LE. Total rearing cost was highest (p<0.01) in HE and lowest in LE. Higher (p<0.05) net profit was obtained from SE and HE than LE. There was a positive correlation between increase of energy in dietary pellet and performance. It can be concluded that high energy containing pellet may be used for commercial Black Bengal goat production in stall feeding
