The aim of this investigation is to understand the surface current circulation pattern off Kuala Terengganu. A drifting drogue was used to measure surface current during April 1993, the transitional period between the northeast and southwest monsoon seasons. Our results show that the drifting drogue moves in an almost circular motion, suggesting the presence of an eddy. However, further studies are needed to confirm the existence of an eddy off Kuala Terengganu during the transitional period

The current research aims to reveal the effectiveness of a counseling program to relieve the negative psychological and social effects created by the Covid-19 pandemic among a sample of female students at Al-Jouf University, by designing a counseling program based on psychological counseling techniques to mitigate these psychosocial repercussions. To achieve this goal, the researchers prepared a questionnaire on the psychological and social repercussions of the emerging coronavirus. The current research relied on the quasi-experimental approach with a one-group experimental design with pre- post- and, follow-up measurements to reveal the effectiveness of an indicative program which was applied to the experimental sample of (80) female students between the ages of (21.25±3.10). The program consisted of (16) sessions; It includes some methods and techniques, including psychodrama, lecture, dialogue and group discussion. In addition, cognitive techniques such as problem-solving and homework, and behavioral techniques, including modeling, reporting, and relaxation. The data were processed using statistical methods (means and standard deviations - T-test - Wilcoxon test). The results demonstrated the effectiveness of the counseling program in mitigating the psychosocial repercussions of the pandemic

Navigating urban tourism planning in a late-pandemic world:The Copenhagen case

This work explores the ways in which COVID-19 has affected the discourse on public tourism planning in Copenhagen and how policies meet the challenges of the climate crisis. Inspired by the concept of ‘governmobility’, we explore changes in discourse on how urban tourism policies aim to ease and control access, mobility, and circulation. The implementation of the DMO Wonderful Copenhagen's ‘localhood’ strategy has tried to cope with issues of over-tourism by engaging locals who also have access to the attractions and experiences offered to tourists. Meanwhile, the planned growth in international tourism, despite the COVID-19 lockdowns, has not been dismantled but rather reaffirmed. This includes plans for major extensions of Copenhagen Airport. Development corporations in tourism and urban development thus try to reconcile sustainable development with economic growth, which is apparent in the 2022 ‘Comeback Copenhagen’ and ‘Planet Copenhagen’ strategies. Copenhagen aims to become the most sustainable tourist destination, without taking into consideration that the main greenhouse gas emissions come from the ways tourists travel to and from the destination.</p
