Respons Pertumbuhan Dan Produksi Beberapa Varietas Tanaman Jagung (Zea Mays L.) Terhadap Pemberian Pupuk P Dan K

Using of Central Composite Rotatable Design (CCRD) to determine the surface response producewas not researched yet, so the research have been conducted in UPT BBI Tanjung Selamat, Regencyof Deli Serdang, Province of North Sumatra with the land height ± 25 m above sea level, at May2012 - August 2012 using randomized block design with two factors : two varieties (Bisma and SHS-4) and Fertilizer (P and K with the dose determined from CCRD). Parameters measured were plantheight, number of leaf, time of flower initiation, harvesting age, cob length, number of leaf abovecob, cob diameter, weight of 100 seeds, seed filling rate and dry seeds production. The resultsshowed that the varieties were significantly diffrent to plant height, number of leafs, harvesting age,cob diameter, weight of 100 seeds, the seed filling rate, and dry seeds production. Fertilizer weresigificantly effects to plant height, number of leafs, and dry seeds production. Interaction betweenvarieties and fertilizer were significantly effects to plant height, cob diameter, and dry seedsproduction

Respons Pertumbuhan Beberapa Varietas Sorgum (Sorghum Bicolor L.) Pada Tanah Salin Dengan Pemberian Giberelin

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui respons pertumbuhan beberapa varietas sorgum pada tanah salin dengan pemberian giberelin. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Lahan Percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Sumatera Utara, Medan pada bulan Juli sampai Oktober 2015, menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok dengan dua faktor perlakuan yaitu varietas (Kawali, Numbu, Super 2) dan konsentrasi giberelin (0, 100 dan 200 ppm). Parameter yang diamati adalah tinggi tanaman, diameter batang, jumlah daun, umur berbunga, kehijauan daun dan berat malai per sampel. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa perlakuan varietas berbeda nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, umur berbunga, bobot malai per sampel. Merill) Pada Berbagai Konsentrasi2,4-D Toleran Terhadap Kondisi Hipoksia Secara In Vitro: Induction of embryogenic callus of several soybean varieties (Glycine max (L.) Merrill) with different concentrations of 2,4-D tolerated against hypoxia condition in vitro

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui respon pertumbuhan kalus embriogenik pada berbagai varietas kedelai terhadap pengaruh 2,4-D dan penggenangan secara in vitro. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Kultur Jaringan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Sumatera Utara, Medan dari bulan Maret sampai Oktober 2016, Rancangan yang digunakan adalah rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan 3 faktor perlakuan. Faktor pertama adalah varietas kedelai terdiri dari Baluran, Gepak kuning, serta Wilis, faktor kedua adalah konsentasi zat pengatur tumbuh 2,4 D yang terdiri dari 5 ppm, dan 10 ppm; faktor ketiga adalah kondisi hipoksia yang terdiri dari tanpa penggenangan dan penggenangan dengan MS cair. Penelitian ini menggunakan 3 ulangan. Parameter yang diamati adalah persentase pertumbuhan kalus, keadaan visual kalus, bobot kalus, uji aktivitas SOD, uji aktivitas POD, uji protein dan uji klorofil. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan varietas berbeda nyata pada parameter bobot kalus dan uji protein. Pemberian auksin 2,4-D berbeda nyata pada parameter bobot kalus, sedangkan perlakuan penggenangan berbeda nyata pada parameter uji klorofil. In contextually specific and formally distinctive ways, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie’s Americanah and Imbolo Mbue’s Behold the Dreamers are fictional interrogations of Obama’s presidential pledge to resuscitate the American dream on the wake of the global financial crash. This paper explores how they supplement and challenge familiar tropes associated with African and American, rather than African-American, diaspora writing. Given broader debates within transnational literary studies about flows and exchanges (of people, finance, cultural production, dissemination, consumption et al.) linking the global South and North, I consider how these texts grapple with the complexities and complicities of contemporary neoliberalism through the lens of renascent African Marxisms. While my chosen writers could not be described as Marxist, I engage with more materially oriented scholarship, such as Krishnan’s Writing Spatiality in West Africa and Ngugi’s The Rise of the African Novel, to consider how Americanah and Behold the Dreamers circulate in a global literary marketplace where certain texts, not to mention authors, are seen as symptomatic of an African and/or Afropolitan and/or ‘Africapitalist’ renaissance. By grappling with Marxist-inflected scholarship, this paper interrogates the politics, as well as poetics, of the oft-conspicuous airbrushing of those socio-economic, specifically class concerns at the heart of these entangled debates
