    The Islamic Defense Movement movement had made headlines from various national media outlets in Indonesia. Although the last series of demonstrations, when this research was written, took place on December 2nd, 2016, the echoes of the Islamic Defense Action can still be seen in various opinions of internet users on social networks. This study discusses the perceptions behind internet users’ opinions of the action, using the Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) method. Taking a sample of Twitter Twitter chants, the authors make a percentage of the main ideas behind the various opinions.     Listed as a “lower middle income” country in 2013 (World Bank, 2013), Indonesia increases its status to be a “middle income” country in 2019 (World Bank, 2019). Furthermore, the increase of economic status is still accompanied with a high frequency of umrah trips. Nowadays, umrah trips is marked by a wide variety of trips package promoted by national as well as international travel agencies, offerings myriads of choices from an economic umrah package to the luxurious one. This could also be a sign that umrah is not only popular in Indonesia, but also well-known internationally. In this writing, I will present a research on #Umroh and #Umrah hashtags in Twitter, in representing the dynamics of umrah trips. Using Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) methods, this research suggests social media have a role in shaping umrah trips. Furthermore, umrah trips tightly related to the concept of tourism industry.     Munginkan eksklusivisme agama bisa dihadapi di media sosial? Revolusi media yang sedemikian rupa telah membuka kemungkinan bagi lembaga-lembaga keagamaan untuk menjangkau pengikutnya dalam kisaran yang lebih luas. Makalah ini akan mengamati gagasan menghadapi eksklusivisme agama ini di media sosial dengan mempertimbangkan re-konseptualisasi gagasan konvensional toleransi di era media sosial. Untuk menilai argumen ini, secara hati-hati diuji tanggapan pemuda Indonesia terhadap video bermain pendek, berjudul bintang Maryam yang dapat didownload di media sosial, seperti Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, dan blog terkait lainnya.
