    The paper addresses the historical and class-contingent processes of transnationalism and integration mediated through material culture. I see the world of goods as a means to uncover the daily, potentially cosmopolitan, practices through which migrants (re)create the ties to their places of origin and destination and contribute to the transnationalization and cosmopolitanization of the subjectivity of the people with whom they interact: the Finnish “natives” and those who stayed behind. The analysis is based on my multi-sited ethnography conducted across Poland and Finland.Ta članek se ukvarja z zgodovinskimi in razredno pogojenimi procesi transnacionalizma in integracije, kot se kažejo skozi materialno kulturo. Svet materialnih dobrin vidim kot sredstvo za razkrivanje dnevnih, potencialno svetovljanskih praks, skozi katere migranti (po)ustvarjajo vezi do krajev izvora in destinacije. Tako prispevajo k transnacionalizaciji in kozmopolitizaciji subjektivnosti ljudi, s katerimi so v interakciji: finskimi »domorodci« in tistimi, ki so ostali doma. Architektonický koncept hotelu vychází z lokality, z možnosti rozsáhlého výhledu na město a v neposlední řadě ideou olympijského ohně. Hlavní myšlenou je vytvořit novou dominantu celého arálu. Hotel nabízí kromě možnosti krátkodobého ubytování také wellness služby, luxusní bar v nejvyšším patře s výhledem na Prahu, kavárnu, kongresové centrum, fitness, kino, restauraci aj.The diploma thesis deals with the design of the hotel category ****. The building is located in the future sport area Čihadla in Prague, for which a we planning study was prepared. The architecture concept oh the hotel is based on the location, nice view to the nature and city and, last but not least, from idea of the olympic fire. The main idea is create a new dominance of the whole area. Hotel offers taking a room, wellness sevices, luxury bar in the highest floor with café, also kongress centre, fitness, cinema, reastaurant and more

First the Poisson equation is solved; both the Neumann condition on part of the boundary and the Newton condition on the rest are prescribed, the distribution of the heat sources being variable. In the second case, the heat equation also contains a convective term, the distribution of heat sources is specified and the Neumann condition is variable on part of the boundary

    The development of a stationary phase material for high-performance liquid chromatography based on a surface of silica hydride as opposed to silanols on ordinary silica is discussed including synthetic approaches, characterization, and applications. There are several synthetic approaches available to create a silica hydride surface. Modification of the Si–H moiety on the silica surface can be accomplished through the use of a hydrosilation reaction. Both the intermediate silica hydride and the material modified with an organic moiety can be characterized by a number of spectroscopic as well as a variety of other methods. Further insights into the retention mechanism are provided through chromatographic measurements. The ultimate utility of any chromatographic stationary phase material is determined by its success in solving challenging analytical problems. A broad range of applications is reviewed to illustrate the versatility and usefulness of silica hydride-based stationary phases

    Towards Peer-to-Peer Scheduling Architecture for the Czech National Grid

    The Czech National Grid Infrastructure MetaCentrum has been using a central scheduler infrastructure for approximately the past 10 years. This facilitated simple administration and direct support for large jobs running across several geographical sites. The knowledge of complete state allowed the scheduler to provide high quality decision making incorporating features like fairshare. On the other hand, this central setup created a single point of failure issue and also reached its scalability limits. In this paper we describe our work towards a new distributed architecture that maintains high scheduling quality while solving most of the single server issues. Our new distributed architecture provides both local autonomy and high scheduling quality. Users can still submit jobs locally even when cross-site connectivity is lost. Individual schedulers work primarily with their local server but still maintain global state, that allows them to mimic centralised scheduling features. The architecture still supports central accounting and fairshare across the entire grid. Implementation is based on the open-source Torque batch system, which replaced the previous commercial PBSPro central server installation. Torque provides a similar codebase as it has a common ancestor with PBSPro in OpenPBS. Torque therefore provides familiar interface for both users and developers

Systém je navržen tak, aby k němu bylo možno připojovat externí moduly, které budou s jednotkou komunikovat pomocí libovolné jednovodičové sériové komunikace. Systém má velmi široké možnosti využití, jelikož je možné k němu připojit modul s libovolnou funkcionalitou. V první části nalezneme popis mikroprocesoru PIC16F887, který slouží jako řídicí prvek celého systému. Ten je možné programovat pomocí jazyka C a zapojení je navrženo pro programátor PicFlash programmer od firmy MikroElektronika. V druhé kapitole je popsána sériová komunikace SPI, která je využita pro komunikaci mezi řídicím mikroprocesorem a vysokofrekvenčními moduly RFM12B. Pomocí těchto modulů je realizována bezdrátová vysokofrekvenční komunikace mezi dálkovým ovladačem a řídicí jednotkou. Hlavní část se zabývá návrhem zapojení pro řídicí jednotku a dálkový ovladač. Interakce s uživatelem je u řídicí jednotky zajištěna pomocí čtyř ovládacích tlačítek a dvouřádkového LCD displeje. Pro připojení externích modulů slouží šest konektorů RJ45. Jako zdroj energie je možné u řídicí jednotky využít buď externí stejnosměrný zdroj napájení, nebo napájení z uvedeného programátoru. Dálkový ovladač je také programovatelný a obsahuje dvanáct tlačítek. Napájen je lithiovým článkem CPAE-08/2005 a je zde integrovaný obvod MAX1555 pro dobíjení tohoto akumulátoru. Vše je řízeno stejně jako v případě řídicí jednotky mikroprocesorem PIC 16F887. Další část se zabývá inicializací a nastavením vysokofrekvenčního modulu RFM12B a jeho připojením k uvedenému mikroprocesoru. Pro tyto účely je zde navržena softwarová funkce SPI v jazyce C tak, aby byla plně duplexní a měla volitelnou šířku přenášeného slova. V poslední části nalezneme návrh a realizaci plošných spojů a jejich implementaci do pouzder běžně užívaných ovladačů.This diploma thesis deals with the concept and the realization of universal programmable control unit and the remote control for this unit. System is designed to be joined to external modules which will communicate with a unit via any single-wire serial communication. The system has a wide range of use because there is a possibility to connect a module with any functionality to it. In the first part, there is a description of microprocessor PIC16F887 which serves as control component of the whole system. The microprocessor could be programmed by programming language C and is designed for PicFlash programmer from MicroElektronika Company. In the second chapter, there is described the serial communication SPI. This serial communication is used for communication between control microprocessor and high-frequency modules RFM12B. The high-frequency communication between remote control and control unit is realised via this modules. The main part deals with the concept of connection for the control unit and the remote control. Interaction with a user is provided by four control buttons and two-line LCD display. There are six connectors RJ45 for connection of external modules. The source of energy of control unit could be external unidirectional power supply or power from mentioned programmer. The remote control is also programmable and it contains twelve buttons. It is charged by lithium cell CPAE-08/2005 and there is the integrated circuit MAX1555 for charging this accumulator. Everything is controlled by microprocessor PIC 16F887, same as in case of control unit. The next part is about initialization and setup of high-frequency module RFM12B and its connection to mentioned microprocessor. For these purposes, there is the software function SPI designed in programming language C to be duplex and to have selectable width of transported word. In the last part, there is the concept of realization of printed circuit and its implementation to ordinary used cases of remotes
