A Chevalley formula in equivariant -theory
The aim of this paper is to give a recursive formula to multiply a line
bundle with the structure sheaf of a schubert variety in the equivariant
-theory of a flag variety
Cohomologie equivariante des varietes de Bott-Samelson
In this text, We compute the equivariant cohomology of Bott-Samelson
varieties. Thanks to this computation, we give a new demonstration for the
formulas proved by Sarah Billey for the equivariant cohomology of Schubert
varieties.Comment: 6 page
Building explicit hybridization networks using the maximum likelihood and Neighbor-Joining approaches
Tree topologies are the simplest structures which can be used to represent the evolution of species. Over the two last decades more complex structures, called phylogenetic networks, have been introduced to take into account the mechanisms of reticulate evolution, such as species hybridization and horizontal gene transfer among bacteria and viruses. Several algorithms and software have been developed in this context, but most of them yield as output only an implicit network, which can be difficult to interpret. In this paper, we introduce a new algorithm for inferring explicit hybridization networks from binary data. In order to build our explicit hybridization networks, we use a maximum likelihood approach applied to Neighbor-Joining tree configurations
The aim of this text is to give an explicit formula for the restriction to
fixed points of a basis of the equivariant K-theory of the flag varieties and
of the Bott-Samelson varieties

We determine the structure of the equivariant cohomology and -theory of
Bott towers. By restriction, we obtain similar results for Bott-Samelson
varieties. This results allow us to describe more precisely the equivariant
cohomology and -theory of the flag variety . We give an expression for
the cup product in
