    The significance of ultrasound examination in the management of experimental uterine transplantation Abstract Uterine transplantation (UTx) represents a new experimental method of treatment of absolute uterine factor infertility (AUFI), which includes inability to conceive and deliver as a result of absence of the uterus. This can be congenital (Mayer-Rokitansky-Küster-Hauser syndrome (MRKHS)) or acquired (after hysterectomy, severe congenital uterine malformations). For a woman affected this way is the uterine transplantation the only way to give birth to a child by herself. This is a very sophisticated and invasive procedure for the treatment of sterility with promising results, but the woman - recipient of the uterus - is burdened by at least three abdominal surgeries (transplantation, Caesarean section, explantation), in vitro fertilization and by the need to use immunosuppressive therapy. The dissertation summarizes current knowledge on this issue from the perspective of a gynecologist-obstetrician, who regularly examined by ultrasound or gynecologically participants in the Czech uterine transplant study in 2016-2019, which was carried out on the basis of a cooperation agreement between two Prague hospitals - IKEM and FN Motol.     Flow in data racks

    This paper deals with the flow in data racks. The aim of this work is to find a new arrangement of elements regulating the flow in the data rack so that the aerodynamic losses and the recirculation zones were minimized. The main reason for solving this problem is to reduce the costs of data racks cooling. Another problem to be solved is a reverse flow in the servers, thus not cooled, occuring due to the underpressure in the recirculation zones. In order to solve the problem, the experimental and numerical model of 27U data rack fitted with 10 pieces of server models with a total input of 10 kW was created. Different configurations of layout of elements affecting the flow in the inlet area of the data rack were compared. Depending on the results achieved, design solutions for the improvement of existing solutions were adopted and verified by numerical simulations

    Pulsatile flow analysis in a bend square channel by modal decomposition

    The article analyzes the results of numerical simulations of pulsatile flow in a square channel with a 90° bend using Proper Orthogonal Decomposition (POD). The simulations of laminar steady and unsteady flow obtained by ANSYS Fluent commercial system were used as input for modal decomposition. Several regimes for different values of individual parameters (stationary flow component, ) were simulated. Not only energy-related modes but also modes significant from the viewpoint of energy dissipation. Other evaluated modes are the modes corresponding to the pulsatile flow frequency and the modes reflecting the flow separation at the bend
