Bibliotecário como mediador de aprendizagem: uma proposta a partir do uso das TICs

As Tecnologias de Informação e Comunicação sob o olhar da psicopedagogia são apontadas como recursos para enfrentar problemas de aprendizagem, incluindo os profissionais envolvidos na prática educativa. A psicopedagogia, assim como a biblioteconomia, preocupa-se com a mediação da aprendizagem, com a construção do conhecimento, e com a formação de um sujeito sócio participativo, agente de seu saber. Reconhecendo-se a importância da atuação da biblioteca como participante dos processos educativos, objetivou-se, com este estudo, apresentar a plataforma PBworks, que permite a criação de um ambiente digital para aprendizagem colaborativa. Essa ferramenta foi utilizada para desenvolvimento de uma biblioteca virtual interativa. Descreve-se o caminho para a sua implantação e uma seleção de 15 aplicativos que contribuem para o desenvolvimento de processos criativos com o uso das TICs. A plataforma ultrapassa o conceito de um simples repositório de materiais digitais, através da possibilidade de interação dos partícipes com os recursos disponibilizados na rede

A sociedade do espetáculo e as fake news: provocações e implicações perante o Direito à Informação

O presente artigo tem como objetivo refletir sobre o conceito de sociedade do espetáculo, de Guy Debord, perante a disseminação de fake news, a fim de identificar as mazelas que esse fenômeno causa ao Direito à Informação. A edição e manipulação de imagens as transforma e midiatiza como representação invertida da realidade social, tornando a sociedade uma espectadora de si, que contempla o mundo idealizado pelas mídias. O indivíduo, por meio das mídias sociais, promove a disseminação de informações falsas, representando um contexto social espetacular. Assim, questiona-se: como o Direito à Informação pode auxiliar nas reflexões sobre fake news e desinformação? Este estudo realiza uma revisão de literatura focada nas características da desinformação, das fake news e da sociedade do espetáculo. Compreende-se que a sociedade do espetáculo torna-se retroalimentadora da própria “realidade falsa”, induzida a tal ato pelas corporações midiáticas, que detêm o poder informacional de relevância social, sedentas, ainda, por centralizar e limitar o acesso às informações, bem como em obter o lucro pelos conteúdos produzidos e disseminados. Como há dificuldades em distinguir as fake news de outros conceitos, os quais invadem a categoria das notícias falsas, a sociedade, incapaz de afastar-se da ilusão promovida pela efervescente circulação de imagens e discursos, tanto imprecisos como enganosos, pode encontrar no Direito à Informação o auxílio para diminuir os impactos negativos da desinformação

The university library in teacher education: use of electronic and digital resources in scientific research

Analisa a utilização de recursos eletrônicos e digitais na formação de professores contextualizada em três bibliotecas universitárias: a Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul, a Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Estado do Rio Grande do Sul e a Universidade de Passo Fundo. As interrelações entre cultura e educação, e a capacidade dos sujeitos entenderem e se adequarem à nova cultura emergente, ocorrem por meio de plataformas digitais e da virtualização de informações. Busca-se compreender se os recursos eletrônicos de informação são elementos potencializadores do papel didático-pedagógico da biblioteca, centrados na busca e recuperação de informações, sendo parte embrionária do processo de pesquisa. Tais constatações implicam em redimensionar a instância “biblioteca”, a fim de que possa se transformar em núcleo cultural, reflexivo, e voltado, fundamentalmente, à formação dos sujeitos, tendo a pesquisa como eixo articulador dos processos político-pedagógicos.This study analyzes the use of digital and electronic resources in teacher’s formation in three university libraries: the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul, and the University of Passo Fundo. The interrelationships between culture and education, and the personal ability to understand and adapt to the new emerging culture happens in cyberspace through the virtualization of the information. In this paper we investigate whether the electronic resources of information are elements that enhance the didactic-pedagogical role of the library, being centered on the search and retrieval of information, and becoming a core part of the research process. Finally, the study indicates the need to qualify the library so that it becomes a cultural and reflective space, focused on people’s education, where research is the axis that articulates the political-pedagogical processes

Esta monografia apresenta a computação em Nuvem como nova alternativa para bibliotecas que buscam qualificar, modernizar, preservar, manter acessível e atualizado seus acervos, com menores investimentos na implantação, treinamento e manutenção dos sistemas de informática. O receio quanto aos serviços terceirizados decorre ao fato de que é todo baseado na web, e não totalmente sob controle da instituição. Para dimensionar o quão revolucionária é esta tecnologia apresentam-se marcos na evolução histórica dos suportes de informação desde as bibliotecas “minerais” e “animais” até o século XXI com a Cloud computing. Ao buscar referências sobre o uso dessa ferramenta descrevem-se iniciativas de bibliotecas em Nuvem no Exterior, bem como exemplos de ferramentas desenvolvidas para seu suporte. O resultado do estudo descrito foi obtido por meio de uma pesquisa bibliográfica de análise qualitativa, tendo como problema de pesquisa os rumos que as bibliotecas estão seguindo quanto ao uso da computação em Nuvem na disponibilização de seus acervos e serviços, e quais benefícios advêm dessa tecnologia. O objetivo geral investiga as possibilidades do uso da Cloud computing em bibliotecas e especificamente se é uma solução consolidada; sua aplicabilidade e uso em bibliotecas; e como se apresenta o cenário brasileiro. O instrumento de coleta de dados constitui-se por um quadro com questões a serem investigadas a partir dos objetivos específicos, seguidos das fontes que subsidiaram a pesquisa contemplando cada objetivo. Ao término do estudo, conclui-se que a Cloud se apresenta para biblioteconomia como uma alternativa na redução de custos e facilidade de gestão.This monograph presents the Cloud computing as a new alternative for libraries that seeking to qualify, modernize, preserve, maintain and update their collections accessible, with lower investment in deployment, training and maintenance of computer systems. Ther fears for outsourced services due to the fact that it is all web based, and not totally under control of the institution. To scale how is this revolutionary technology, this monograph presents historical milestones in the evolution of information support from libraries "minerals" and "animals" until the twenty-first century with Cloud computing. Our references about the use of this tool are described in Cloud initiatives libraries abroad, as well as examples of tools developed to support. The result of the study described was obtained through a literature search for qualitative analysis, with the problem of the direction that research libraries are following regarding the use of cloud computing in the provision of its collections and services, and what benefits come from this technology . The general objective of investigating the possibilities of using Cloud computing, and specifically in libraries is a consolidated solution, its applicability and use in libraries, and presents itself as the brazilian scenery. The data collection instrument constituted by a frame with issues to be investigated based on the specific goals, followed by sources that supported the research contemplating each goal. At the end of the study, it was concluded that the Cloud library is presented as an alternative for cost reduction and ease of management
