Cervical disc hernia treated with Global Postural Reeducation (GPR)

O artigo apresenta dois casos de hérnia de disco cervical diagnosticadas por tomografia. A sintomatologia dolorosa apresentou-se localizada e irradiada para braço, antebraço, mãos e dedos. Os casos foram tratados com alongamento muscular, utilizando a técnica de Reeducação Postural Global (RPG). A sintomatologia desapareceu nas primeiras sessões de tratamento, permanecendo os indivíduos assintomáticos há 12 meses.This is a report on two cases of patients suffering from cervical disc herniation submitted to physiotherapic treatment. Both patients presented pain and neurologic deficit.and were treated with with tretching exercises, drawing on Global Postural Reeducation techniques. Both cases have referred no symptons after a few sessions and remained so through 12 months
