    CLONAL SELECTION OF PROKUPAC GRAPE VARIETY IN SERBIA-CURRENT RESULTS

    The research carried out in experimental vineyard-collection at Faculty of Agriculture experimental field “Radmilovac“. Vineyard collection belongs to Šumadijsko-velikomoravski vineyard area, Belgrade sub-region and Grocka vineyard region. Rows were extending in southeast-northwest direction with line spacing of 3 m and 1 m between vines in row. In paper is presented data for 25 clones of Prokupac red vine variety (mechanical composition of berries and cluster, structural indicators of berries and bunches and qualitative parameters-sugar and acid content). Based on structural indicators, clones are grouped into 3 large groups. Clones 43/8 (284.46 g), 42/1 (232.93 g), 40/5 (239.9 g) and 40/2 (244.77 g) were emphasized by the largest cluster mass.     The precipitation system U02(NOs)2-KOH-H3P04-H20 (at 298 K) aged for 1 day and for 30 days is examined ([U02(NOs)2] = = 1 · 10-a mol dm-3, [KOH] varied from 1 · 10-6 to 6 · 10-1 mol dm-3, [H3P04] from 2 · 10-4 to 6 · 10-1 mol dm-3 and 1.5 <pH< 11.5). The precipitation and phase boundaries are determined. The solid phases U02HP04 · 4 H20(s) and (U02)s(P04)2 · 8 H20 are stable at [KOH] < 1 · 10-3 mol dm-3, 1.5 <pH < 4.0. Uranates precipitate at pH > 9.5. The stability region of KU02P04 · 3 H20(s) is found at high concentrations of KOH and H3P04. X-ray diffraction pattern of this compound is given. According to the precipitation boundary after 30 days (equilibrium conditions) the solubility product of KU02P04 · 3 H20 is determined: log ([K+] · · [U022+] [P043-]) = -- 26.28 (at I =0 mol dm-3)

    Identification and Characterization of Alkaline Uranyl(2 +) Phosphates

    The spontaneous precipitation in the systems U02(N03)2- -MOH-HaP04--H20 and U02(N03)2-MNOa-H3P04- H20 (M = = Li, Na, K, Rb, Cs) is examined. The formation of alkaline- uranyl(2+) phosphates polyhydrates is detected: M[U02P04] · · n H20 (n = 4 for M = Li, n = 3 for M = Na, K, Rb and n = 2.5 for M =Cs). The X-ray powder patterns of these compounds are determined and compared with that of H30[U02P04] · 3 H20. A close structural relation within this series is observed. The size of the alkaline ionic species in the particular compound affects the content of crystalline water in the unit cell

    Extremal mappings have been one of the main topics in the theory of quasiconformal mappings since its earliest days, when Grötzsch solved the extremal problem for two rectangles. Grötzsch showed that among all quasiconformal mappings from a rectangle R_1 onto another rectangle R_2, mapping the sides of R_1 onto the corresponding sides of R_2, there exists a unique mapping with minimal dilatation (see [Gr]). Later, Teichmüller [T] generalized Grotzsch's ideas and found many extremal quasiconformal mappings, including the uniquely extremal mapping f in the set of all quasiconformal mappings homotopic to a given sense-preserving homeomorphism between two compact Riemann surfaces R and S = f(R) of genus greater than 1. In a neighborhood of all but finitely many points on the compact Riemann surface R, the extremal map f could be expressed as a conformal map followed by an affine map followed by a conformal map.     Histologija creva i promene u visini enterocita kod dužičaste pastrmke (Oncorhynchus Mykiss) gajene u kaveznom sistemu

    Rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss, Walbaum, 1792) was grown in cages (water reservoirs 'Bočac', Bosnia and Herzegovina) in two separate experiments for a period of 90 days (autumn - winter and spring - summer). Trout were fed six different feed formulations and studied their influence on rainbow trout intestine histology. Normal histological structure of this part of the digestive system was found. The results showed that with water temperature and feed quantity decrease, the height of enterocytes increases; while with increase of water temperature and amount of food given to the fish, the average height of enterocytes decreased.Dužičasta pastrmka (Oncorhynchus mykiss, Walbaum, 1792) je gajena u kaveznom sistemu (akumulacija 'Bočac', Bosna i Hercegovina) u dva odvojena eksperimenta u trajanju od po 90 dana (ciklus jesen - zima i ciklus proleće - leto). Pastrmke su hranjene sa šest različitih hrana i proučavan je uticaj hrane na histologiju creva. U svim uzorcima nađena je normalna histološka slika ovog dela digestivnog sistema. Rezultati su pokazali da kada temperatura vode i količina hrane pada, visina enterocita se povećava, dok je u suprotnom slučaju, kada se temperatura vode i količina davane hrane povećava, prosečna visina enterocita opada

    Electric Field Effect in Ultrathin Films near the Superconductor-Insulator Transition

    The effect of an electric field on the conductance of ultrathin films of metals deposited on substrates coated with a thin layer of amorphous Ge was investigated. A contribution to the conductance modulation symmetric with respect to the polarity of the applied electric field was found in regimes in which there was no sign of glassy behavior. For films with thicknesses that put them on the insulating side of the superconductor-insulator transition, the conductance increased with electric field, whereas for films that were becoming superconducting it decreased. Application of magnetic fields to the latter, which reduce the transition temperature and ultimately quench superconductivity, changed the sign of the reponse of the conductance to electric field back to that found for insulators. We propose that this symmetric response to capacitive charging is a consequence of changes in the conductance of the a-Ge layer, and is not a fundamental property of the physics of the superconductor-insulator transition as previously suggested.Comment: 4 pages text, 4 figure

    QUALITATIVE AND QUANTITATIVE ANALYSIS OF RED WINES ANTHOCYAN

    The most important quality parameters of colored wines are analyzed in the paper, with special reference to qualitative and quantitative anthocyanins content. Anthocyanins possess a diverse biological activity such as antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anticancer, cardio protective, anti-atherogenic, as well as activity in reducing diabetic risk and prevention of cognitive functional disorders. Basis of analyzes is related to typified varietal (monocomponent) and "Cuvée" (mixed) wines made in Greece - on Mount Athos - at the Hilandar monastery and in Serbia, in comparison with wines of similar composition from other viticultural world areas.Wines of Hilandar are distinguished with high anthocyanins content, both in mixed combination and monocomponent wines-from 101.4 mg/L for the Savino Polje wine of 2010, to 781.3 mg/L for the Cabernet Fran varietal wine from 2016. The most important anthocyanins in wines of Hilandar are malvidins. Younger wines contain from 151.9 mg/L to 671.0 mg/L malvidin ingredients. In addition to malvidins, these wines also contain a significant amounts of peonidine and vitizine A. Concerning a content of sugar and total acidity in must, superior clones of Merlo variety are -181, 345, 346, in which sugar content in must varying in range from 23.8-31.6%, while total acids content varying in range from 6.1-9.2 g/L in some vintages. Cabernet Fran clones 210 and 214 are complemented by yield and grape quality (a sugar content in must is ranges from 22,8-27,4%, total acidity 5,8-8,7 g/L). For Cabernet Sauvignon clones 15, 169 and 337 sugar content ranged from 23.6-28.2%, and total acidity was 5.5-7.8 g/l.Such sugar to acid ratio in listed varieties resulted with alcohol content of 13.5-15.5 vol.% and with a number of varietal characteristics complemented with minerality, specific fragrances and other indicators of superior wines

    The treatment of pulp in teeth with incomplete apex formation is still a clinical challenge. In addition to the most widely used medication for this purpose, calcium hydroxide, other materials have also been tested. Following the use of synthetic biomaterials for restoring bone tissue, and considering their recognized biocompatibility and bioconductivity, our intention was to explore the possibility of using synthetic biomaterials in the endodontic treatment of permanent teeth with incomplete apex formation. The aim of this study was to observe the effectiveness of hydroxyapatite in apexogenesis of young permanent teeth. In this study a 100 µm synthetic hydroxyapatite material, Beohap (HAP) powder, was applied to 24 teeth in 3 dogs of 5.5 months of age, after incomplete root development was established on radiographs. The treated teeth were radiographed monthly and the radiographs compared with those of the corresponding teeth on the other side of the jaw until completion of apex growth. The tested teeth were divided into three groups according to the method of treatment: the first was direct pulp capping, the second was amputation of the pulp at the enamelcement junction and the third was high amputation at the radiographically identified point of root growth. On the basis of radiographic analysis, apex formation was successful in all test groups, with no significant differences between the three groups and the controls (Fisher's and χ 2 test). Deformities of the root apex were observed in two teeth (25%) in the third group.Tretman pulpe u vreme kada još uvek traje rast i razvoj korena predstavlja i dalje klinički izazov. Pored kalcijum hidroksida, najčešće i najduže upotrebljavanog medikamenta u ovakvim slučajevima, svakodnevno se testiraju i mnogi drugi materijali. Nakon što su se sintetski biomaterijali pokazali uspešnim u restauraciji koštnog tkiva uz njihovu priznatu biokompatibilnost i biokonduktivnost, naša namera je bila da istražimo mogućnost primene hidroksiapatita kao sintetskog biomaterijala u endodontskom tretmanu zuba sa nezavršenim rastom korena. U ovom istraživanju primenjen je Beohap, sintetski hidroksiapatit, prosečne veličine čestica =100 µm, aplikovan na 24 zuba sa nezavršenim rastom korena kod tri psa uzrasta 5,5 meseci. Uzrorci su kontrolisani radiografski i poređeni sa kontralateralnim netretiranim zubima do završetka rasta korena. Tretirani zubi su podeljeni u tri grupe: u prvoj je urađeno direktno prekrivanje pulpe, u drugoj je pulpa uklonjena do cementno-gleđne granice, a u trećoj je pulpa uklonjena do radiografski vidljivog vrha korena. Na osnovu analize rendgen filmova utvrđeno je da je formiranje vrha korena bilo završeno u sve tri grupe bez statističkih značajnosti razlika (Fisher's i χ 2 testovi) Deformiteti vrha korena uočeni su u 2 uzorka u trećoj grupi (25%)

    Kinetics and mechanism of sphalerite leaching by sodium nitrate in sulphuric acid solution

    Interest for application of hydrometallurgical processes in a processing of complex sulphide ores and concentrates has increased in recent years. Their application provides better metal recoveries and reduced emission of gaseous and toxic ageneses in the environment. The kinetics and mechanism of sphalerite leaching from complex sulphide concentrate with sulphuric acid and sodium nitrate solution at standard conditions was presented in this paper. The influences of temperature and time on the leaching degree of zinc were investigated and kinetic analysis of the process was accomplished. With temperature increasing from 60 to 90°C, the zinc leaching increased from 25.23% to 71.66% after 2 hours, i.e. from 59.40% to 99.83% after 4 hours. The selected kinetic model indicated that the diffusion through the product layer was the rate-controlling step during the sphalerite leaching. The activation energy was determined to be 55 kJ/mol in the temperature range 60-90°C. XRD, light microscopy and SEM/EDX analyses of the complex concentrate and leach residue confirmed formation of elemental sulphur and diffusion-controlled leaching mechanism
