Use of experiential pedagogy to mediate visual impairment to intact children
The Bachelor thesis deals with the possibility of using experiential pedagogy programs to mediate visual impairment to intact children in the basic elementary school. The thesis describes the issue of visual impairment, its classification and functional impacts, and the system of education of individuals with visual impairment in the Czech Republic. The paper further focuses on a detailed definition of the term experiential pedagogy, defines the concept of inclusive education and seeks an answer to the question of why to introduce intact pupils to the issue of (visual) impairment. The research to this paper focused on monitoring how the perception of visual impairment by intact pupils at the elementary school changed after being exposed to an experiential pedagogy program, which focused on the issue of visual impairment. In order to achieve the research goal, a method of a qualitative interview was used for collecting the data and the open coding method was used in the subsequent analysis. Research monitored several partial areas of perception of visual impairment (the area of emotions, the area of knowledge and the area of having a hypothetical classmate with visual impairment). The key research issue was answered on the basis of answers to partial research questions in these areas. Behavioral and Pharmacokinetic Profile of Indole-Derived Synthetic Cannabinoids JWH-073 and JWH-210 as Compared to the Phytocannabinoid Δ9-THC in Rats
Synthetic cannabinoid compounds are marketed as “legal” marijuana substitutes, even though little is known about their behavioral effects in relation to their pharmacokinetic profiles. Therefore, in the present study we assessed the behavioral effects of systemic treatment with the two synthetic cannabinoids JWH-073 and JWH-210 and the phytocannabinoid Δ9-THC on locomotor activity, anxiety-like phenotype (in the open field) and sensorimotor gating (measured as prepulse inhibition of the acoustic startle response, PPI), in relation to cannabinoid serum levels. Wistar rats were injected subcutaneously (sc.) with JWH-073 (0.1, 0.5, or 5 mg/kg), JWH-210 (0.1, 0.5, or 5 mg/kg), Δ9-THC (1 or 3 mg/kg) or vehicle (oleum helanti) in a volume of 0.5 ml/kg and tested in the open field and PPI. Although JWH-073, JWH-210, Δ9-THC (and its metabolites) were confirmed in serum, effects on sensorimotor gating were absent, and locomotor activity was only partially affected. Δ9-THC (3 mg/kg) elicited an anxiolytic-like effect as suggested by the increased time spent in the center of the open field (p < 0.05). Our results further support the potential anxiolytic-like effect of pharmacological modulation of the endocannabinoid system
Kulturnà a socioekonomické dopady migrace kmene Tonga vyvolané konstrukcà přehrady na jezeře Kariba
This bachelor thesis describes the issue forced migration of African Tonga tribe, which was caused by the construction of Kariba dam in the Zambezi valley, where the tribe was living. This thesis describes the historical causes and course of the resettlement the Tonga tribe. The important part of the thesis is concentrate on the identification cultural and socio-economic impacts that occurred in the life Tonga tribe after its resettlement. Finding of these impacts will be using information from books and studies dealing with this case. The results will be incorporated into the final statement, which shows the dimension of impacts on qualititive changes in contemporary Tonga's life

The role of UDC classification in the Czech Subject Authority File
The paper outlines the standardization function of the Czech Subject Authority File and explores the role of UDC as a switching language, i.e. as an intermediary between various indexing systems at institutional, national and international level. Subject indexing and classification systems used at the institutional and national level may differ from one another in their levels of specificity, syntactic features (e.g. word order of terms, subject headings versus descriptors), and in the usage of terminology. These differences raise compatibility problems and make any mapping efforts more difficult. The paper explains how such difficulties may be partially overcome by means of the UDC system. The author illustrates the potential application of UDC as a linking element between different subject organization tools used by memory institutions. In this context the author discusses subject indexing systems used in libraries, museums, galleries and archives
Identita internĂch pacientĹŻ terapeutickĂ˝ch komunit pro drogovÄ› závislĂ© v interkulturnĂ perspektivÄ›
This thesis focuses on the analysis of 30 interviews with drug addicted patients from therapeutic communities in Peru, Nicaragua and the Czech Republic. The main objective is to recognize the differences in the identity of patients and examine the differences in their assessment of local treatment. Processing will be used for content analysis and created the grounded theory, which explains the socio-cultural differences in the identity of internal patients from different therapeutic communities

ANALYSIS OF VARIOUS OPIATES INCLUDING HYDROCODONE OR HYDROMORPHONE IN BIOSAMPLES BY GC/MS AFTER SILYLATION
ABSTRACT: A GC/MS method suitable to conduct practical toxicological analyses of unspecified opiates including hydrocodone or hydromorphone is presented. Silylation can be a convenient reaction to derivatize unknown analytes in toxicological samples. However, silylation of drugs with tautomeric keto/enol groups in molecular structure can cause analytical problems due to poor reproducibility. After using N-methyl-N-trimethylsilyltrifluoracetamide (MSTFA) acceptable results were achieved
