Spin-3/2 to spin-1/2 heavy baryons and pseudoscalar mesons transitions in QCD
The strong coupling constants of light pseudoscalar mesons with spin-3/2 and spin-1/2 heavy baryons are calculated in the framework of light cone QCD sum rules. It is shown that each class of transitions among members of the sextet spin-3/2 to sextet spin-1/2 baryons and that of the sextet spin-3/2 to spin-1/2 anti-triplet baryons is described by only one invariant function. We also estimate the widths of kinematically allowed transitions. Our results on decay widths are in good agreement with the existing experimental data, as well as predictions of other nonperturbative approaches
Nucleon tensor form factors induced by isovector and isoscalar currents in QCD
Using the most general form of the nucleon interpolating current, we calculate the tensor form factors of the nucleon within light cone QCD sum rules. A comparison of our results on tensor form factors with those of the chiral-soliton model and lattice QCD is given

Strong coupling constants of heavy baryons with light mesons in QCD
Azizi, Kazem (Dogus Author) -- Conference full title: International Workshop on Quantum Chromodynamics: Theory and Experiment, QCD at WORK 2012; Lecce; Italy; 18 June 2012 through 21 June 2012The strong coupling constants of the heavy spin-1/2 and spin-3/2 baryons with light pseudoscalar and vector mesons are calculated in the framework of the light cone QCD sum rules. Using the symmetry arguments, some structure independent relations among different correlation functions are obtained. It is shown that all possible transitions are described by only one invariant function, whose explicit expression is structure dependent.Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare (INFN), Universita del Salento, Universita di Bari "Aldo Moro", Fondazione Monte dei Paschi di Sien
Analysis of gamma(*) Lambda -> Sigma(0) transition in QCD
The gamma(*) Lambda -> Sigma(0) transition form factors are investigated within the light- cone QCD sum rules method. Using the most general form of the interpolating current of Sigma(0) baryon and the distribution amplitudes of baryon we calculate the Q(2) dependence of the electromagnetic form factors. Our results are compared with the predictions of the covariant spectator quark model
Radiative omega(Q)* -> omega(Q)gamma and qi(Q)* -> xi(Q)'gamma transitions in light cone QCD
Azizi, Kazem (Dogus Author)We calculate the magnetic dipole and electric quadrupole moments associated with the radiative Omega(Q)* -> Omega(Q)gamma and Xi(Q)* -> Xi(Q)'gamma transitions with Q = b or c in the framework of light cone QCD sum rules. It is found that the corresponding quadrupole moments are negligibly small, while the magnetic dipole moments are considerably large. A comparison of the results of the considered multi-pole moments as well as corresponding decay widths with the predictions of the vector dominance model is performed
Diagonal and transition magnetic moments of negative parity heavy baryons in QCD sum rules
Azizi, Kazem (Dogus Author)Diagonal and transition magnetic moments of the negative parity, spin-1/2 heavy baryons are studied in the framework of the light cone QCD sum rules. By constructing the sum rules for different Lorentz structures, the unwanted contributions coming from negative-to-positive (positive-to-negative) parity transitions are removed. It is obtained that the magnetic moments of all baryons, except Lambda(0)(b), Sigma(+)(c), and Xi(c)'(+), are quite large. It is also found that the transition magnetic moments between neutral negative parity heavy Xi('0)(Q) and Xi(0)(Q) baryons are very small. Magnetic moments of the Sigma(Q) -> Lambda(Q) and Xi(Q)'(+/-) -> Xi(+/-)(Q) transitions are quite large and may be measured in further experiments
Baryon-baryon-meson coupling constants in QCD
Azizi, Kazem (Dogus Author) -- Conference full title: QCD@WORK 2010 : International Workshop on Quantum Chromodynamics: Theory and Experiment, Beppe Nardulli Memorial Workshop, 20-23 June 2010, Martina Franca, ItalyThe strong coupling constant of decuplet and octet baryons to vector and pseudoscalar mesons are calculated in light cone QCD sum rules in general case and when the SU(3)f symmetry is taken into account. A comparison of the obtained results with the existing experimental data and predictions of the other nonperturbative approaches is also made.Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research (MIUR), Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare (INFN)
