Pengaruh Konsumsi Kopi Terhadap Peningkatan Tekanan Darah
Kopi merupakan minuman yang sejak lama digemari masyarakat Indonesia. Kopi dapat mempengaruhi tekanan darah karena kandungan polifenol, kalium dan kafein. Polifenol dan kalium bersifat menurunkan tekanan darah, sedangkan kafein bersifat meningkatkan tekanan darah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adakah perubahan status tekanan darah setelah diintervensi yang diberikan dalam penelitian ini yaitu kopi. Desain penelitian merupakan penelitian observasional analitik dengan metode cross sectional study. Besar sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 96 laki-laki, dengan usia 20-40 tahun melalui tehnik purposive sampling. Hasil uji statistik dengan menggunakan uji Kolmogorov Smirnov, untuk pengaruh jenis kopi terhadap peningkatan tekanan darah didapatkan nilai p = 1.000, pengaruh jumlah kopi terhadap peningkatan tekanan darah didapatkan nilai p = 1.000 dan pengaruh frekuensi kopi terhadap peningkatan tekanan darah nilai p = 1.000, didapatkan secara statistik dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat pengaruh konsumsi kopi terhadap peningkatan tekanan darah.Coffee is a drink that has been popular in indonesian people. Coffee may affect blood pressure because it contains of polyphenol, potassium and caffeine. Polyphenol and potassium is decreases blood pressure, while caffeine is increases blood pressure. To know is there any change in the status of blood pressure after the intervention of a given in this research namely coffee. Kind of this research is the observational analytic with the method is cross sectional study, which is done in the coffee shop in the Makassar city. Sample of this research is 96 man, consist of 20-40 years old. The research purposive sampling technique. The result of statistical tests by using test kolmo gorov smirnov, the influence of kinds of the coffee on the increased. Blood pressure obtained value of P = 1.000, the influence of the number of coffee on the increase blood pressure obtained value of P = 1.000, and the influence of the frequency of coffee on the increase blood pressure obtained value of P = 1.000 obtained statistically can be concluded that there is no influence of consumption coffee on increased blood pressure
Aplikasi Gaya Belajar pada Kegiatan Belajar Mandiri Mahasiswa Tahun Pertama Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar
Latar belakang: Pengetahuan akan gaya belajar sangat dibutuhkan oleh mahasiswa. Pada saat belajar mandiri, mahasiswa memiliki kebebasan untuk untuk dapat mengidentifikasi kebutuhan belajarnya yang akan dijabarkan dalam bentuk tujuan belajar, setelah itu menyiapkan rencana belajar, mencari sumber daya yang dibutuhkan dan melaksanakan rencana belajar tersebut serta diakhir dengan evaluasi hasil dan proses belajar. Dalam proses belajar inilah gaya belajar dapat menjadi katalisator untuk pembelajaran yang efektif. Salah satunya adalah gaya belajar Visual, Aural, Read/write, Kinestetik (VARK).Metode: Penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif terhadap mahasiswa tahun pertama FK Unismuh di TA 2013/2014. Tahap pertama dengan menyebarkan kuesioner VARK untuk mendapatkan data gaya belajar mahasiswa. Selanjutnya mahasiswa diberikan buku harian belajar mandiri untuk diisi sesuai apa yang mereka lakukan saat belajar mandiri.Hasil: Berdasarkan analisis data diperoleh gaya belajar unimodalitas mahasiswa yaitu Visual 1.4%, Aural 29%, Read/write 24.6%, Kinestetik 32%, dan multimodalitas 13%. Dari kelompok unimodalitas hanya sebesar 10% yang mengaplikasikan gaya belajar sesuai karakteristik gaya belajarnya sedangkan dari kelompok multimodalitas sebesar 77.7%.Simpulan: Gaya belajar yang paling dominan adalah gaya belajar kinestetik dan kelompok multi modalitaslah yang paling banyak mengaplikasikan gaya belajar sesuai dengan karakteristik gaya belajarnya. Conclusion: The most dominant learning style is kinesthetic but group multimodality most widely applied according to the learning style characteristics

needs to be spelled out in the form of learning objectives, and then prepare a
lesson plan, look for the resources needed to learn and implement the plan
as well as the end of the evaluation results and the learning process. In this
learning process learning styles can be a catalyst for effective learning. There
are many styles of learning, one of which is the Visual, Aural, Read / write,
Kinesthetic (VARK). This study would like to see the application of learning
style of first-year students at the Faculty of Medicine, University of
Muhammadiyah Makassar by the time they learn to be independent.
Method. This study was a descriptive study with a quantitative approach. The
population was freshman of FK Unismuh in school year 2013/2014. The data
were taken in two phases. The first phase by distributing questionnaires to
obtain VARK learning styles of students. The second phase, which follows
the first stage students were given self-learning diary filled according to what
they do during independent study. The data were analyzed descriptively.
Results. Based on the analysis of data obtained unimodalitas student's
learning style were Visual 1.4%, 29% Aural, Read / write 24.6%, Kinesthetic
32%, and 13% multimodality. Of group unimodalitas only 10% who applied
learning style according to the characteristics of learning styles while
multimodality group at 77.7%.
Conclusion. The results of this study shows that the most dominant learning
style in the first-year students FK Unismuh is kinesthetic learning style but
group learning style multimodality most widely applied learning style
according to the learning style characteristic
