Despite the fact that there are many applications for analyzing and recreating the audio through existinglip movement recognition, the researchers have shown the interest in developing the automatic lip-readingsystems to achieve the increased performance. Modelling of the framework has been playing a major role inadvance yield of sequential framework. In recent years there have been lot of interest in Deep Neural Networks(DNN) and break through results in various domains including Image Classification, Speech Recognition andNatural Language Processing. To represents complex functions DNNs are used and also they play a vital rolein Automatic Lip Reading (ALR) systems. This paper mainly focuses on the traditional pixel, shape and mixedfeature extractions and their improved technologies for lip reading recognitions. It highlights the mostimportant techniques and progression from end-to-end deep learning architectures that were evolved duringthe past decade. The investigation points out the voice-visual databases that are used for analyzing and trainthe system with the most common words and the count of speakers and the size, length of the language andtime duration. On the flip side, ALR systems developed were compared with their old-style systems. Thestatistical analysis is performed to recognize the characters or numerals and words or sentences in English andcompared their performances

Chain flexibility and configurational dimensions of left handed Z- DNA and right handed B-DNA helices

The configurational behaviour of flexible helices of right handed B- and left handed Z-types have been analysed using statistical mechanical procedures. The configuration-dependent parameter, most importantly, the persistence length has been computed, using the heminucleotide scheme of treating polynucleotide chains under the approximation that perturbations in the backbone torsions produce sufficient flexibility in these helices. The values of persistence lengths obtained for Z-helices are very much higher than that of B-helices indicating that former is less flexible compared to the latter. These are in accordance with the results obtained recently on B- and Z-forms of poly(dG-dC) · (dG-dC) using light scattering studies. Also the persistence lengths of BII-DNA helices characterised by a skew 3'-hemiucleotide (ε ≃ 270°), and also when they coexist with B-DNA have been computed and the values lie within the range of experimentally reported values on B-helices. It is argued that the decrease in the persistence length values of B-DNA at higher salt concentration is due to additional small fluctuations in sugar residue torsions induced due to neutralisation of electrostatic repulsions between adjacent phosphates of the nucleotide. Noteworthy is that these are correlated to winding angle variations and the consequent bending of the helix

Micromagnetic Simulation of Spin Transfer Torque Switching of Full-Heusler Co2FeAl0.5Si0.5 Alloy Thin Elliptical Disc

AbstractWe report micromagnetic simulation of spin transfer torque (STT) switching of a thin elliptical disc made of full-Heusler Co2FeAl0.5Si0.5 alloy. The STT results in switching the direction of initial magnetization of the disc to a new state based on the spin-polarization factor (ƞ) of the material and magnitude of current density (J) applied. The value of J required for magnetization switching need to be reduced in the order of 106 A/cm2. In our simulation we obtained 3 × 105 A/cm2 as the critical current density (Jc) required for complete magnetization switching of the disc. We analyzed the effect of ƞ on magnetization switching time by reducing the value of ƞ by 0.10 from the actual value of 0.76. The decrement in ƞ results in the increment of time taken to switch the direction of magnetization. The change in switching time for variable disc thickness was also studied. This simulation result holds a key factor in the study of STT switching in spin-valve nanopillar

ABSTRACTObjective: Acetylcholinesterase (AChE) inhibitors are important therapeutic targets to treat memory impairment caused due to stress, post-traumaticstress disorder (PTSD) results from traumatic stress exposure. Cognition and mood symptoms can begin or worsen after the traumatic event. In thisstudy, we aimed to evaluate the role of Eclipta alba Linn. as an antistressor, AChE inhibitor, and on object recognition memory in an animal model of PTSD.Methods: Adult male Wistar albino rats were randomly divided into four groups: Control, chronic unpredictable stress (CUS) (30 days), CUS+ethanolicextract of E. alba (EEEA) (200 mg/kg body weight), and EEEA (200 mg/kg body weight) treatment groups and were assessed for novel objectrecognition task (NORT), plasma corticosterone, and AChE activity. Results: We found significant improvement in NORT (p<0.05) plasma corticosterone levels in stress group was significantly increased (p<00.05)which is resumed with EEEA treatment (p<0.05) AChE activity was found to be reduced after EEEA treatment. Conclusion: EEEA is found to possess cognitive enhancing activity in the animal model of PTSD.Keywords: Recognition memory,PTSD,Unpredictable stress,Eclipta alb

Background: The investigations done, complications observed, mode of delivery, management of complications, the perinatal outcome, the maternal mortality, the lessons learnt have been outlined. The referral to higher tertiary care Institutes has been analysed. The goals of management were, control of hypertension, prevention of convulsions, assessment of the severity of HELLP syndrome, identification of associated complications and chances of fetal salvage, a decision to be made regarding the mode of delivery, keeping the blood products ready, anaesthetist and paediatrician to be informed, consultation of nephrologist, cardiologist, neurophysician, ophthalmologist, gastroenterologist, surgeon as required in the particular case and continued vigilance in the postpartum period. Methods: This is a prospective observational study of one hundred cases of HELLP syndrome managed at two tertiary care Institutes. Twenty-five cases, managed at CARE Institute of Medical sciences, during the years 2011 to 2013 and 75 cases from the Institute of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Modern Government Maternity Hospital, MGMH, Osmania Medical College, OMC, between 2021 to 2023, were included in the study. Results: Labour was induced, in 47.29%, vaginal delivery in 28 cases, 37.83% and lower segment caesarean section (LSCS) was needed in 46, 62.16% in the study. A total of 90.66% of HELLP have occurred in the third trimester of pregnancy. Eclampsia was associated with HELLP syndrome in 39/100=39%. The remaining 61 cases had preeclampsia associated HELLP syndrome. PRAKI in 31/100=31%, DIC in 19%, PRES in 7/100, PPCM 2%, PPH in 18=24%, maternal mortality in 17/100=17%. Conclusions: Delivery by 37 weeks would have clearly prevented 36% of cases. Delivery by 35 weeks would have prevented 61% of cases of HELLP syndrome
